After not hearing back from this company I decided to run to the store when I finally got a text from these guys. It read " can you send the address and see if I can come by in 10 mins" wth???? Coming from a construction background I've worked with countless contractors that can let you know a time and show up when they said they would. Don't waste your time with these guys. We had them lay new cement and a small area of turf for the back as well as build a new block wall. They were also able to relocate a gate we had on the side instead of us having to pay to install a new gate. As for the front yard, they took out the dead grass we had and installed sod with a new irrigation system. He was patient and had great ideas to give when we weren't sure what is we wanted. The work was completed in a timely manner even with all the rain interfering. We had hired Guillermo's company a few months ago for smaller jobs in our home that also turned out great. I contacted the Department of Green and was put in touch with Eddie, a knowledgable and great to work with landscaper. We discussed my plans and ideas. He did all the cleanup of the areas and he went plant shopping with me to provide his expertise. I purchased and provided all of the remaining materials and plants and over 3 different visits he performed all the work, including installation of a drip system. I am very pleased with the results and the final cost of this project. It was much more economical than handing the job over to a landscape contractor. If you are willing to do some of the research for the design and material purchases yourself, the Department of Green is the way to go!
