Recently moved to the area and wanted to try this place out. Walked in and was welcomed and seated immediately. They placed chips and salsa on our table as soon as we sat down and gave us time to look at the menu. Our server, Rudy, was very attentive and friendly. Our drink order came out quickly and they tasted amazing. Definitely recommend the blue margarita. The food was also great. Served hot and a generous portion of food. I was able to take some home for later, which I enjoyed eating at home. The restaurant looked very clean, plenty of seating, large booths that can sit 6 people. The menus were clean! (Not greasy or covered in fingerprints). The tables and the seats were clean. The music was great, and not too loud. Just was very satisfied with this visit. This is a decent little spot in Rolesville. We will sometimes go after an event at my daughter's school. Loveeee the queso and chips. ACP is a solid choice. We like the fajitas too. First time here. I was very skeptical when I tried the salsa...basically Italian tomato sauce. No spicier than ketchup. But the plate of Chili Verde....succulent chunks of pork in a delicious, herbal green sauce...was absolutely on point. So I'm dipping my chips in the sauce and enjoying the rice and beans that come with it. Good service. Fair prices. Trying out a different Mexican restaurant than the one we usually frequent. The parking lot seemed full but they were not busy when we arrived. We got the usual chips and salsa. They add oregano in their salsa. I was not a fan. I asked about chili con queso and they said it's on tortilla wrap with queso. I've never seen it that way. We opted for the chori queso instead. It was hot when it arrived. There was a burnt corner I thought it was chili crisp but it was just burnt chorizo. The steak fajitas came out on a sizzling plate with no sizzles. It seems they did not heat the cast iron enough. Enchilada rancheras were decent. The shredded chicken was seasoned, just wish there was more mole sauce. The Mexican rice was hard and not fresh. Another great meal at Los Tres Maguyes. We eat here every few months and l, typically, Enrique is there. He's an older gentleman and always has a nice smile and always gives wonderful service. Chips and salsa are always good. My favorite meal is ACPC, rice with chicken and shrimp. My hubby always gets fajitas tejanas. This place is typically pretty busy and is a favorite for Rolesville locals and especially families after sports practice or games. Always see soccer kiddos in there. I have liked eating here for a long time, now I can say I truly love this place. Here is why, on the night of June 6th 2023 a girls softball team we coached was playing in the ballpark behind the shopping center. As it was the last game we had wanted to eat after the game. The complication was the game did not start until 715 and would not end until 845 the restaurant closes at 10 on weeknights. I had checked in the day before to make sure they could accommodate the players and parents. They said they could work with us but try to get there as soon as possible. Well as luck would have it the. Game was late starting and ran long so it was a little after 9 before the first people could arrive. The manager had called to see if we were coming and I really thought he would say they could not take us. As it turns out he kept his staff there and was able to get everyone served and even had a special table for the girls set. The food is always good, the service is always quick and with a smile. The fact that they were willing to work with us to make that night special for my group means more than they know read more

I came into this restaurant on Sunday, August 5, that day I had already done a spiritual fast for a few hours, the first thing I ate after the fast was the Mojarra Frita, halfway through I felt a little weird, but I thought it was OK I kept on eating, by 3 o'clock that morning I couldn't sleep anymore because of severe cramps in my stomach, from that morning of August 6 to August 8 my stomach had severe pain and I was on the toilet for most of the day. I hadn't eaten anything but that since 24 hours because I was scared to eat anything else due to the severe pain that was going on in my stomach it almost took me to the emergency room. I will never ever ever eat at this Roseville location ever again. I had the exact same menu at Brier Creek prior to that never had any problems. The fajita taco salad - the beef was so tough I had to trash it. The cheese and sour cream just tasted wrong. The chili pepper relano ordered with chicken was filled with the same tough beef. This restaurant is a true hidden gem, we drove by a few weeks ago and decided not to go inside. Due to the exterior and location just outside of a small strip mall in Rolesville. My husbands co-worker told him about this restaurant and how incredible the food was. Well, we went in on a Thursday night and were pleasantly surprised! Not much to look at from the outside, I guess that's what they mean by " don't judge a book by its cover". No, please don't, this restaurant will deliver a great experience for you and your family and friends! We were greeted and seated immediately and had a wonderful view of the live entertainment! Yes, they had a gentleman singing and playing his guitar. He was so sweet and took requests from the patrons. On to the food, the chips and salsa was complimentary, fresh and fabulous. The menu offers a great variety of Mexican dishes. Our waiter was great at helping us with our selection, including helping me find that perfect margarita or two.... The food was just as my husband was told, it was really good and the margaritas (I only had 2) left me singing with the gentleman and his guitar!! Well.....not really, my husband rushed me out as I started to converse with him after offering a tip for his great performance. Wonderful man I might add. Great experience and we are already planning our next visit with more of those incredible margaritas!!!!!!!!! Yummy and wow lots of tequila in there!!!!! Hubs and I have been frequenting this place for a few years. They almost always have a good coupon that arrives in the mail or be sure to check moneymailer.com for coupons too. This locale is in Rolesville and stays pretty busy in the evenings. It has the traditional "Mexico on steroids" flair in their decor-fun times! The staff works in a team format so you are always taken care of. The food is amazing! I have never had an item taste anything other than yummy! My family eats here frequently for Sunday lunches. The service has always been prompt, friendly, and attentive. Typical Mexican restaurant decor with sombreros, colorful murals, and flags. Casual ambiance. I generally get whatever the daily special is for lunch (one of the featured combos). Nothing in particular makes it stand out from every other chain Mexican restaurant I've been to. It's definitely Americanized Mexican, but that doesn't stop the food from being good. I really like the fajita quesadilla, chilaquiles, and enchiladas. We have been going to Los Tres since 2008 (other than when we moved out of state for awhile) and it is fantastic. Some complain that its not "Mexican" but depends on what region of Mexican food you like. Being from California, this is not Baja style Mexican food, nor is it Tex-Mex. Its probably more like a cross between central Mexican and Mexican-adapted-to-American tastes. We have eaten LOTS of Mexican food in our lives, and this place is good.
