My favorite Mexican food in the wake Forest /Rolesville area! Always polite and a lot of space for groups also. Tacos de barria are awesome! Of course the huge margaritas too! Food is prepared fast and won't break the bank .

We have always had a great time here. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is great. And the place is always kept clean. We love coming here!

Supposed to be Chicken Chimichanga. But it's beef...

Having our chicken chimichangas replaced with beef on to go orders multiple times is nothing short of incompetence. By the time we discover what's happened, we're already back home trying to enjoy our meal. Looking for alternative for Mexican night.

I can't really remember the name of my dish but I got the pineapple shrimp and chicken platter and omg it was sooooo good! The seasoning was so good. I ate too much of the salsa and chips in the beginning therefore leaving little room for food! But you must come here and get the pineapple shrimp and chicken!!

Super fast, friendly staff - amazing flavorful fresh food. Try the pineapple chicken & shrimp, and the chori pollo tacos!! Jalapeño margarita is fresh, not spicy, but flavorful.

Another great meal at Los Tres Maguyes. We eat here every few months and l, typically, Enrique is there. He's an older gentleman and always has a nice smile and always gives wonderful service. Chips and salsa are always good. My favorite meal is ACPC, rice with chicken and shrimp. My hubby always gets fajitas tejanas. This place is typically pretty busy and is a favorite for Rolesville locals and especially families after sports practice or games. Always see soccer kiddos in there. Highly recommend this restaurant - consistently good food, friendly employees and casual atmosphere.

After running errands, we drove just six minutes to El Chapin, a Guatemalan restaurant. Forget Tex-Mex--this is a completely different Latin cuisine experience. The two of us spent $76 (including tax and tip), but we intentionally ordered extra to take home leftovers. Parking was easy, right out front, and the restaurant itself is spacious. Since we arrived just a few minutes after opening, we had the place to ourselves at first and were seated immediately. Service was prompt and very helpful--the server even suggested we might have ordered too much food (he was right, but we didn't mind!). Here's what we tried: Plato Chorizo y Longaniza - a sausage platter with salad, rice, refried black beans, and two delicious housemade corn tortillas. Pollo Adobado - marinated chicken with rice, salad, refried black beans and two housemade corn tortillas . Ceviche de Camarón - fresh and tangy, though light on shrimp, which tasted a bit tough Fried Plantains - perfectly done, sweet, and satisfying. Plus, I had an unsweetened iced tea with lemon. The highlights for me were the flavorful rice (with vegetables mixed in, including carrots and squash), the marinated chicken, and the sausages. The plantains were also excellent. The ceviche had great flavor but could've used more shrimp. The only miss for me was the salad--generous in portion but iceberg-based, so a bit bland. Overall, the food was fresh, flavorful, not heavy or greasy, and we left with enough for another one or two meals. We'll definitely be back.

For instance, my vegetarian dish I ordered was full of beef. Fortunately I'm not a vegetarian. Our most recent visit was just as good as the first time. My order was correct, and delicious. Chile relleno was really just a poblano with cheese, but has the most rich and flavorful sauce, as is the sauce for the spinach enchilada. Even their beans and rice have good flavor. Burrito-loving Husband tried the Pomodoro this time with Steak and loved it. (Not sure what made it pomodoro though lol. Chips and Salsa are complimentary and very good too. Restaurant is nice and clean (98 sanitation)...love that. I will say the service is like a step back in time to where only "Sirs" were talked to. My Sir got good service and since he was the only one of us who existed got to pay the bill too. Which was not a bad thing cause their prices are super reasonable! Menu is large and varied. Definitely a great Mexican option if you're in Northeast Raleigh. And you can multi-task cause it's at a gas station.

It's a typical Mexican restaurant menu, with all of the standards - tacos, burritos, etc. Warm chips and house-made salsa are served at seating. Drinks from the bar are huge. One of the specialty drinks needed re-made because it just wasn't right, but the margaritas are spot-on. Portions are big, food is fresh and served piping hot. Stuffed jalapeños were pretty good, but not sure they are house made. The shrimp burrito is STUFFED with plump, flavorful shrimp and vivid pico de gallo. Refried beans, rice all very good. Definitely will add to the rotation.

Our waitress was awesome, she was friendly and quick with the service. We ordered a couple of drinks and they were delicious. Unfortunately, those were the only two things we enjoyed about Aye Toro. The food was extremely bland, almost flavorless. When my husband and I took our first bites, we both looked up at each other and both knew exactly what the other was thinking. There was no spice, nothing. Mexican food is supposed to be flavorful but this was like...boiled chicken without the spices. For $17 for a plate of bland food, I was super disappointed and felt like I wasted $80 for the night (two meals and two margaritas with a 20% tip). When we come back for trivia, we might stop by for margaritas beforehand but I can't imagine Aye Toro staying in business if they keep serving flavorless meals. I know this review is harsh but spending that kind of money on this lackluster dinner is even harsher.

Additionally, I ordered a corona and since it was draft, not sure it it was or something else, but it didn't taste like a corona I have ever tasted. The service was excellent.
