I ordered the chicken enchiladas paired with a refreshing horchata, eagerly anticipating a delightful experience. Unfortunately, the chicken enchiladas fell short of my expectations, lacking both flavor and quality. While they were garnished beautifully, enhancing their visual appeal, the presentation could not compensate for the disappointing taste. On a positive note, the horchata was a highlight of my meal--a creamy, sweet beverage that I genuinely enjoyed. It provided a much-needed contrast to the underwhelming enchiladas. The service, however, was commendable. The staff was speedy and exuded friendliness, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant's decor featured warm colors that effectively complemented their marketing strategy, adding to the overall ambiance. While my meal did not meet my hopes, the combination of pleasant service and inviting surroundings still made for a decent dining experience.

Great food at reasonable price. I had chili relleno plate that comes with everything. Guacamole & sour cream come automatically, unless you request they don't. Good service. Be aware they don't have parking. Metered parking only.

Pure Mexican comfort food. I ordered the Chile rellenos. The batter was eggy and fluffy so if you prefer your rellenos crispy, you might be disappointed. Most Albuquerque restaurants don't bother adding the crema and salsas to make the colors of the flag, but this place does. The chipotle salsa is the bomb. Only wish they used real plates and cutlery, but they would have to hire a dishwasher and increase the prices.

The best Mexican food . The crunchy tacos were so good because the shell was fresh, flaky and it wasn't chewy So happy I ate there ! Not playing , best Mexican food

I rarely order on Uber Eats for this very reason, but decided to give it a try since the first order from this spot was a nice surprise. Granted it was a "simple" burrito California order, but the presentation was nice and the food tasted great. A few weeks later I ordered the mojarra frita (fried tilapia) plate and unfortunately it was a terrible decision. The fish was fried and crispy on the outside, but the inside was still undercooked/essentially raw on the inside -- my guess is that they threw it straight from the freezer to the fryer, which definitely isn't a proper way to cook it. I was very disappointed and Uber Eats did not even offer a refund or discount on this order. Judge for yourselves from the pictures.

Overall: I've only tried one thing but I'm excited to try all the California style Mexican food that I miss. Service is great too! UNM students and staff get 10% off too! Food: 4 Supreme Quesadilla: The difference between this and the Quesadilla Tecate is that the guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo is inside rather than on the side. The quesadilla had the right amount of cheese and meat. The only thing that I would have preferred is less sour cream and more guacamole. Service: 5 The cashier was super friendly and very patient with my questions. Food took about 5-8 minutes to come out. Ambiance: 4.5 The restaurant has a walk up takeout window, or you can order inside. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It shares a parking lot with Satellite Coffee so parking may be a little hard, especially during the day.

Unfortunately, they didn't ask us if we had a special occasion we were celebrating, but overall the service was great. The ambiance was pretty nice and there is a back patio that has a few tables. They have a large array of oysters from the east coast and west coast. The oysters and the way they served and prepared were good. They do have raw clams also which I thought strange, but I'm probably just not fancy enough. We ordered a few appetizers including green chili hush puppies which seemed to need a little more Smokey green chili flavor and they were a bit dry. The lobster deviled eggs are sort of tart and flavorless and I didn't get any lobster on mine. My friend said the lobster rolls were good, and I had a salmon special that was out of this world delicious and cooked to perfection!! The red curry mussels were also outstanding!! Could use a bit more spice and salt, but really good. One of the kiddos didn't want raw food, but he also couldn't find much on the menu for kids. They were out of what he ordered and when they finally did get his order, his food came out about 15 minutes after the rest of the table. They did comp out appetizers so that was nice, but in my opinion they should have comped his meal since they didn't have what he wanted and then served him so much later. Their alcoholic fancy beverages were great. I had a glass of wine that was good. I would suggest offering more wines and meals from the adjacent wine bar and restaurant to Lure as well. They have a few kinks to work out, but I think they are on the right track. There is no phone so it's very difficult to make a reservation. I recommend visiting this place and trying some of their food during off hours. I'm not sure I'd recommend their appetizers yet, but with a few tweaks they will improve. Cheers!

I ordered a Michelada cocktail, which was equally delicious. The lobster deviled eggs were fantastic. My wife isn't really a seafood fan so she ordered a green chile smash burger. She enjoyed hers greatly as well. Our server was very attentive and eager to ensure we had a great meal experience. Will definitely go back. The only needs improvement I see is I would've liked to have had a bloody Mary and that wasn't one of the listed items on the cocktail menu.

But a plan is a plan ... First, the atmosphere. Not much. The place is small. White cloth dining. I did not feel the ambiance took away from the experience. Second, the service. Terrific. Unlike many other places in ABQ, the service was prompt and efficient. Our server was Chris. He was knowledgeable about the menu. He made good suggestions for wine and mocktail recommendations. The food was very good. We started with smoked salmon egg rolls. They come with a spicy sauce. Very good. We each had a house salad (they come with the entre). My wife had the steak kabob. The meat was lean and tasty. I had the chicken kabob. The vegetables were crisp. Flavor was good. My order came with calabacitas. We loved both dishes.

On the outside, the place didn't look too attractive until we went in and found a very charming little restaurant. Our server, Casper, was a very friendly informative guy who knew their menu well. He made eating their five stars for sure. I'm both gluten and dairy intolerant and called ahead to make sure they could accommodate. My wife and I each had a burger and mine was on gluten-free bread and my wife had hers on a regular bun. My wife loved her hamburger and I enjoyed mine, although they don't carry yellow mustard, which is something that I always douse my burgers with. I also had a green salad and a side of green chile marinated roasted red potatoes, which were outstanding Everything was so delicious. The only down side was we found the burgers a little bit greasy, and we both are trying to watch our fat intake. I would also hoping in the future, they would carry yellow mustard for us guys from the Midwest. I would highly recommend this place and would visit again next time we come to Albuquerque.

After several locals recommended Antiquity, we quickly learned why reservations are so hard to come by. We couldn't secure a table on our actual anniversary, but managed to get one a couple of nights later, and it was well worth the wait. From the outside, Antiquity is understated. Step inside, however, and you're immediately welcomed into a warm, intimate atmosphere that feels like a hidden gem tucked away in Old Town Albuquerque. Owner Steve, who has been running the restaurant for nearly three decades, greeted us personally. His passion for hospitality was evident from the moment we arrived. While we waited briefly for our table, he took time to learn about us, ask what types of food we enjoy, and offer thoughtful menu recommendations. The restaurant itself is charming and authentic, with an old-world steakhouse feel that perfectly complements the historic New Mexico setting. Many of the tables and booths are arranged to create private, intimate dining spaces, making it an ideal choice for special occasions. We were touched when Steve seated us at what he called the "anniversary table," complete with a small scattering of heart confetti, despite our celebration having technically passed. Service throughout the evening was exceptional. Rather than relying on a single server, the entire staff worked seamlessly together. Water glasses were never less than half full, empty plates disappeared almost instantly, and every member of the team seemed genuinely invested in ensuring guests had a memorable experience. Even the kitchen staff engaged warmly with diners, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. As for the food, it exceeded every expectation. We started with oysters on the half shell, which my husband thoroughly enjoyed. I upgraded to the special salad, a beautiful combination of greens, apples, strawberries, mandarin oranges, walnuts, bacon, and a creamy mini brie, all brought together with a delicious pear vinaigrette. For our entrée, we chose the Châteaubriand for two. It was expertly prepared, carved tableside, and cooked perfectly. Every recommendation we received was spot-on, and the meal was so impressive that before leaving, I made another reservation for later that week just so I could return and try more of the menu before our trip ended. Antiquity offers beer and wine rather than a full bar, which was perfectly fine for us and fit the restaurant's classic, understated character. This is not an inexpensive dinner, nor should it be. What you're paying for is exceptional food, genuine hospitality, flawless service, and an atmosphere that is increasingly difficult to find. Antiquity doesn't simply serve dinner, it creates an experience. If you're visiting Albuquerque and looking for a memorable meal, especially for a special occasion, this restaurant deserves a spot at the very top of your list.
