Los Xurros makes the best churros I've had in LA! They are cooked to order and rolled in cinnamon sugar, served warm with a perfect light crunch on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. 1 box comes with 8 pieces. $8 includes a dipping sauce, and $10 includes a small Häagen-Dazs ice cream. They have a lot of options for dipping sauces. I like the classics - chocolate and lechera (condensed milk)! They are extremely friendly and efficient. They're chatty if you are in the mood, and will happily share their story. The parking lot they're next to is a free-for-all, and there are usually a bunch of other food stands set up. There is no seating, you just grab and go. A lot of people eat standing by their cars. I've brought a lot of other people here, and so far everyone agrees they are the best in the city! read more

I wish they have this pop up in San Diego!!! Yummy fresh vegan churros cooked to order! Eric was so friendly and helpful! The guava sauce was the bomb!!! It tastes like it has a hint of passion fruit. I wish it comes with more sauce! I should have asked to buy extra. When we got there they already sold out of the chocolate sauce. Eric also instructed me on reheating the churros in an air fryer for the next day. Looking forward to my next trip to LA to buy more xurros!! read more

It's been a while since I tried some incredible, savory churros in the area. While shopping at Ralph's, I came across the Los Xurros stand and I couldn't resist buying some. The owner is incredibly friendly and willing to assist you with your purchase. I got a churro box, which includes 8 pieces for $8. You can also add ice cream to your churro box for $10. Then you pick your dipping sauce (chocolate, strawberry, caramel, or lechera/condensed milk). I opted for the caramel dipping sauce and it made the best combination with my churros. They're crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside... delicious and sweet! I had a couple and then saved some for later. Since they were cold, I put them in the microwave for a few seconds and they were still delicious!! I will be back when I have my next churro craving. read more

Los Xurros is just the best. If you want a great churro, you must go. It is a tiny stand on Sawtelle in Mar Vista and is not usually very crowded. The churros are made right there and all are fresh and hot. The service is super nice and they are fast. There is a public bench to sit on to eat but that is about it. We eat them on the way home. What we really love about this place is it has ice cream to add with your churro. It is Hagan Das and they have a nice selection of flavors. The prices are super fair. It is also very clean. ***Best Churros you will ever have*** So before I hit the 405, I usually stop at my favorite burger vendor Wax smashburger and right next to it is this churro vendor, Los Xurros. One day he was giving out samples, and let me tell you, it was the best churro I've ever had! Living in Los Angeles, I've tried churros everywhere from downtown spots to even Costco but nothing compares to this. I was already full that day, but I promised myself I'd come back. Even my partner, who swears Disneyland has the best churros, said this place is legit! When I went back, I noticed he offers dipping sauces like condensed milk, dulce de leche, chocolate, and strawberry. He even has ice cream! Honestly, the churros are so good on their own that you don't even need the extras but it's nice to have the option. The texture is perfect, light, airy, and not dense. He mentioned they're vegan and made with a special recipe (no eggs or dairy), which might explain why they taste so fresh. What really surprised me is that even the next day, after a quick warm-up in the air fryer, the churro was still delicious! If you're ever around Sawtell and National (Ralph parking lot), right before hopping on the 405, stop by Los Xurros for a snack to make your drive sweeter. I absolutely loved this place. I went here randomly while waiting for brothers cousins tacos and this place really went above my expectations. It really was delicious and they give you a lot in the box. No where to eat it but there is a parking lot there so people were eating them in their cars.
