There menu is fantastic. This is a hidden gem tucked in the sunset. We ordered the Brussels sprouts, risotto and Mac and cheese. The Brussels sprouts were so tasty I visited again to order them and got the Tom yum wings which were delicious and such a unique combo. I love their whole menu. There is not much open due to covid so there outdoor seating can be tough. This is a busy place and it's first come first serve for outdoor tables. Usually during the day you are fine but later in the evening this place can get packed. It may be best to order to go and enjoy at a park nearby. I've only visited during covid times. Let me just rank the food real quick. 11/10 the L&F Wings sweet saucy bomb. 10/10 Garlic Fries we thought the fries would be a small tray...no they really hooked it up and since there was so much I took some home and microwaved it. We all know fries tastes terrible the next day. Not these fries for some reason. The day after it was probably like a solid 8/10 (which is better than most places). 10/10 garlic noodles--I had this over 3 meals AND IT WAS SO YUMMY even after microwaving it. 3/10 Wagu burger ngl not impressed the bun was kinda hard and all the insides were falling apart probably the worst item we ordered. Garlic noodles ($12) with shrimp ($3) - big portion of buttery noodles, but could have used more seasoning. Shrimp was tasty and decently sized. Definitely add shrimp for the extra $3; comes with about 5-6 shrimp. Mushroom Risotto ($14) with shrimp ($3) - very tasty, creamy risotto with plenty of mushroom bits. Shrimp was good, and has the same flavor as the shrimp on the garlic noodles. Though this is primarily a bar/cocktail lounge, the food was really good during our covid-19 delivery order. We came here after a hike for a glass of wine and a small bite. They accidentally made extra wings and gave us some to-go, so friendly! Came here for a friend's going away party. Cute little bar in the Sunset area. Parking was fairly easy. They checked my ID when I got there but they soon stopped checking ID's when more people showed up. Service was ok at the beginning but as soon as the place filled up, there was definitely a line to get drinks. They do offer some bar foods and we had the tom yum wings, which were pretty tasty. It was nice and crispy and with the sour and salty going on. We also had the Gambas, the brussels sprouts and the shishito peppers as well as the birria tacos. The brussels sprouts were very tasty when they first came out but once it got cold it was pretty greasy. The shrimp came with toasted bread and it was yummy to dip in the sauce that came with the shrimp. The birria tacos were ok, the consommé was pretty tasty to dip the tacos in, it was hard to eat as we were sharing and didn't want to double dip into the consommé. Our favorite was the shishito peppers. Fairly good size peppers that were nicely cooked and the melted parmesan cheese made it all the better. I didn't have any drinks but some of the drinks that they had very cute names to them and they are very pretty to look at. Drinks are on the stronger side. Love the aesthetic in this bar! They have several areas perfect for photo opps. Neon light signs with cute phrases seem to be what's in now. Lost and found features a couple of them that read: "you can't sit with us" and "let's get lost together." Of course we were all over them, making sure to take some pics. Meh. Been meaning to check this place out for awhile. I was left feeling this was a bad LA wannabe college bar. Granted I didn't try the food: but the bartenders were unhelpful and not really mixologists (I asked for a cocktail that wasn't a sugar bomb and was told how about a whiskey soda?), the prices were SF downtown, and the vibe was kids coming in to get shots and get bombed. This place has safety issues with bartenders not cleaning their hands while touching public areas and with the same uncleaned and unwashed hands and grabs gummy bears and oat for the jtown and ocean mule drinks. Late review as I was waiting for my credit card dispute with Lost and Found to clear. We stopped by for a drink on 7/20 and to watch the NBA finals. We got the J-Town Matcha and Union Street Spritz. In my opinion, the J-Town Matcha tasted unpleasant while the Union Street Spritz tasted quite refreshing. The reason why I give this place 1 star is because the bartender was not wearing a mask as he was making drinks and I was charged TWICE-- I gave my card to the bartender to pay but he did not give my card back to me after I had already signed the receipt. I thought he did not give it back to me to start a tab(?) but I know for a fact now he swiped my card a second time. He gave my card back to me a good 5 minutes after I had already sat down with my drink. The first charge that I approved was $31 but there was a second charge on my credit card for $31.91 as well. I now have a bad experience with this bar for making me put in a dispute with my bank but at least my credit card dispute was approved and I got my money back. read more

I came here for a friend on a Saturday night and the place was quite busy and crowded. Considering the location is away from downtown, it seems like mostly locals here. Even so, with the hipster neon signs and decor of the place, it definitely brings some SOMA/FiDi touches into the neighborhood. An IG worthy place with its neon signs and affordable happy hour is definitely going to draw folks to this part of the Sunset. It's a sleepy block on Taraval down at the bottom of the hill from a police station and high school. The drinks aren't too strong, they stick to a very SF theme, and while I wouldn't rave about any cocktails, they are well staffed behind the bar and provide a great neighborhood meet up spot. Price point is standard, albeit high for this neighborhood. Wheelchair friendly, which was great for a friend, and not too loud (at least on a Friday night around 9:30PM). Would recommend! read more

It was however a huge miss. Salty beyond salvageable :( the rue was also not properly made and left the texture grainy. I hate wasting food and would have attempted to put it back on my stove to correct, but I just could not find myself scarfing it down. The birria ramen is a much better dish. I can tell there was great effort in the soup. The meat was very tender and the soup had great depth with the substantial cook time, but unlike the tom yum, was under seasoned. They did however use a quality fresh ramen noodle compared to the instant stuff most birria ramens boast. It's just that the noodle type used does not absorb the flavor of the broth. Exceptional food, drinks and atmosphere! We went here for my birthday on a weekday and enjoyed the vibe and everything we ordered. Dine-in is open in limited capacity. Know that they do NOT take reservations - we emailed them to make a reservation a week or so prior and got a reservation confirmation email but when we got there, they didn't honor that which was weird. We got lucky though and were able to get the couch seating indoors right away. We got the parkside punch, the J-town matcha and the mission dolores margarita - layers of flavor and delicious drinks. Parkside punch was definitely my favorite, it was tangy and not too sweet. We were looking forward to getting the great highway sour but they no longer have that on the menu during covid because of the egg white in it. This review is a bit late, but I had such a good experience here that I had to post the review. My friend rented out the private room to celebrate his birthday and Edward did such a good job at making sure we had everything we needed to have a great time. He was the only one working that night due to being short staffed and he was still so attentive to our party. Everything we ordered was so quick to come out and Edward even provided us with random things we asked for like a balloon pump. Honestly I felt like we may have been asking for a lot but he was always so nice and made it feel like it was really no problem. After talking with him we found out he is actually the owner of the bar and also owns another bar called Best Kept Secret which I think has karaoke. I plan to check that out sometime. Five stars for the service that he provided and our group had an amazing time. I would definitely recommend this place especially if you're thinking of renting out the private room. read more
