The food was absolutely way too salty. So salty that I had to scrape the top of my herb-crested chicken, and still, I couldn't eat all of it. I do admit the chicken was cooked perfectly. Came here on New Year's Eve night to eat before we started to celebrate and I'm glad we did! I got the ribeye steak and seasoned rice and it was so delicious. The bread and side salad came out first and I devoured it! I love the ranch they have here it tastes home made, the bread is always nice and warm and the butter smooth and sweet. I had a blue lemonade which is always refreshing. I didn't get a dessert because I was too full from everything else but next time I come down I will definitely get one! read more

1- no wait! Yeah! 2- took forever to get drinks then 15 minutes before our order was taken, our appetizer was never delivered. We asked about it twice. She said oh my 1 brought to you let me check on it then she came back a few minutes later and said oh my mistake I didn't put it in. We were seated but then ignored. A young waiter noticed us finally and apologized. No problem, we told him. I ordered chicken fried chicken with gravy on the side. Green beans and mashed potatoes. Chicken fried steak arrived. I sent it back. Ate my sides while I waited; baked potato was undercooked in places. Chicken arrived smothered in about 3 cups of gravy with cheerful waiter apologizing. He said manager would discount part of the meal. The staff was very nice and the rolls and tea were superb. Rest of the meal disappointing. Very average food. I got the "road kill" which is a chopped steak. Said it comes with cheese and I specifically said "Please do not put cheese on this. When it arrived it was covered in cheese. It came with two sides; I had steak fries and mixed vegetables. The fries were soaked in grease and saturated with salt. I managed to choke down two or three. The vegetables were some rubber carrots and a couple of pieces of OK broccoli with no flavor. Wife had beef tips with mashed potatoes and she said hers was very good, hence 3 stars instead of 2. There was an hour and half wait on Saturday night . Called at 5:30 to put our name on the list and they gave us a 7:00 serve time. It was a party of 8 however. Not a fan. Perfectly seasoned and cooked steaks. We were on a road trip to Hot Springs, Arkansas this past Spring Break, but we forgot to pack kibbles for our dogs. So we ordered steaks for them. The food was still warm when it got to our hotel room. We rinsed off all the seasonings, grease, and blood of the steaks. Diced them up. Oh boy! Weren't the dogs excited? Texas Roadhouse is my favorite, I've been here multiple times and I used to love it, good rolls, good steaks, burgers are always good, etc... But last night happened..... Let me tell you. After a long day my family and I wanted our favorite Texas Roadhouse! we ordered to go. Everything tasted good. We ordered our usual. My husband got the steak, I got the steak tips and a side salad, my daughter and son both got the bacon cheeseburgers. But we didn't get our extra butter,ranch or rolls that I ordered, I also asked for no tomatoes and cucumbers on my salad. My salad had both on it. After we had eaten all of the bathrooms were occupied. We all had upset stomachs all night long. Even the next day we couldn't hold down our food. All of our stomachs are still upset. Very disappointed since this has never happened to us at any Texas Roadhouse. Disappointed to say the least. read more

We have been coming to this place since we moved here and this was the first time we were treated rudely by the desk people (Booke and Olivia) was told 5-15 minutes that turned into almost an hour. People coming in after us getting seated before us. The service by Derek was great but it seems the place is going downhill especially with restrooms being really nasty. The biscuits and butter are great as usual but unsure if that would make up for rudeness and nastiness. read more

We are from Texas and really love dining at , Texas Roadhouse". We recently dined at the TR franchise in Hot Springs, AR. We were astonished by the superior quality of the food, friendly and fast service,,,,yes, twice as good as any Texas Roadhouse that we have ever dined at....and we have dined at many over the past 15 years. We shared this with the local Manager, who was also awesome. This young man should be promoted to a trainer and quality control to ensure all Texas Roadhouses can compare to the Hot Springs location. Some of the worst service I've ever experienced in my life I will never come back to this restaurant! Our waiter quit Mid service , without any warning , management didn't even come tell us the guy had quit !!!! After about 45 minutes , drinks nor the appetizers were still not served to us and the other two tables next to us ,by that time the management which kept hiding in the back of the restaurant finally came out and confronted us and and apologize repeatedly, comped our meal and two tables beside us, that was a nice gesture hopefully they've gotten their issues together and choosing in training the waiters and waitresses with making better customer service decisions but unfortunately I will not return.
