BBQ Chicken Cob Salad - Tritip Steak instead of chicken. Onions and tons of rye croutons. Not really a cob salad.
    Kim P.

I love the ambience here!! It's a local pub where everyone gathers to watch the game. People are nice albeit a little slow most likely due to the labor shortage. They could improve on the menu. The first time I was there I had the salmon special that was probably the best restaurant salmon I've ever had and that's why we went back. However, it wasn't the special last night. I ordered the BBQ Chicken Cob but, asked that the chicken be swapped for tritips instead. I've never had a cob salad the included a half of a cup of onions and croutons. The steak was good. But I wouldn't order the salad again. My husband had the French dip sandwich and gave it 3-stars. It's a pub...I was just hoping for the salmon!!

Mac n cheese, chicken & love.

Chef Bobby, a true wizard, cooked us up some grade A chicken and mac n cheese. The chicken was juicy and tender as John Travolta in Grease, and the mac n cheese was thick and cheesy like thick cheese. Four stars because the mac n cheese was cooked very hot and hurt my teeth because they are soft. Thanks again Bobby!

I ate it too fast for the picture. I got another!

Here on St. Paddy's day. Best Rueben ever. They have it year round, so aIll be back!!

If you want strong drinks and good food this is the place. My steak tips were excellent and the chicken bites were delicious!

The traditional Ruben was tasty. The clam chowder is decent too. The service was average, but friendly. I'd dine here again.

I had the butter poached filet mignon and my husband had the baked seafood trio. The filet mignon was very good. The seafood trio was also good, just a little buttery. We both remarked that, because the fish here always tastes so fresh, we tend to order it every time. The menu offers early evening prix fixe options we regretted missing because the prices are wildly cost effective. We had the roasted panko haddock, prepared with roasted shrimp, citrus beurre blanc, roasted potatoes, and asparagus. It was delicious. The citrus beurre blanc leaned more buttery than citrusy, but it was still very good. The haddock was cooked perfectly. The honey mustard salmon, served with cranberry compote, roasted potatoes, and asparagus, was perfectly cooked and delicious as well. The honey mustard flavor was perhaps too subtle, but only because it was so good--we would have welcomed more of it. The complimentary bread service included several pieces of fresh, hot, crusty bread served with rich herbed butter. The bar atmosphere is friendly and unpretentious, and it was nice to see so many happy customers. We enjoyed champagne, wine, and mocktails. It's great to revisit this nostalgic space and enjoy its consistently good food.

It smelled so good. Then we immediately got a table, had a few minutes to pick our drinks, and got them very fast. And let me say the waitress was incredibly kind and friendly and quick! I ordered a chocolate milk because, yeah, I like them (don't judge). It was incredibly good here; at some places, it's just not really good. So I'm happy it was awesome here. Then we got our appetizer, a nice, yummy salad! It was definitely good. Then I ordered an Angus burger. I added bacon and cheese to it for $3. And it was worth it! It was so good. I also paid extra for onion rings. And those were SO good. Like some of the best I have ever had. After that, I got a Peanut Butter Lava Bomb Cake thing. And wow! It was really good. The whole plate was covered in chocolate syrup and whipped cream. Then, in the middle, there was a peanut butter-covered chocolate cake. SO good! I totally do recommend this place! Hopefully coming back!

This year we came back because of how outstanding last year was. I ordered the chili again, even though I knew it meant I probably wouldn't eat my whole meal. My friend ordered the fish and chips and upgraded to truffle fries. She said it was probably the best fish and chips she's had. Now... for my meal... I am not exaggerating... BEST meal I have EVER had. Ever. I had the cod. Baked. With pesto, and sun-dried tomatoes. Served with roasted potatoes and spinach. So flaky. So tender. Perfectly cooked. The flavor was something straight from heaven. Breaks my heart I'm not local. I'd eat this weekly. All of the staff is always so friendly. A gentleman also checked in... not sure if he's a manager or owner. This is a top notch place. I'll definitely be back.

The TV screens are perfectly placed, the bartenders are friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. The pizza was excellent -- flavorful, hot, and done just right. We also tried the meatloaf, and it genuinely reminded us of our grandmother's from years ago -- comforting, hearty, and full of flavor. That's not something you find everywhere. Even in the middle of winter, the place had a warm, lively vibe. We ended up having a great conversation with someone we later found out was the owner -- just chatting about everyday life. That kind of genuine hospitality says a lot. Good food, great service, and an easygoing atmosphere. Thanks for a great experience -- we'll definitely be back!
