    Barrel aged cider.

On a recent rainy weeknight, seeking shelter from a rained out Bells game, some friends and I found ourselves as this quaint little cider company located near the baseball stadium. The place was packed with soaked fans, but we found a few spots at the bar and ordered our ciders. I like a less dry cider, so the cidertender (is that a word?) guided me to the perfect blend of cool, cidery, and a little bit sweet. It was delicious! The space itself, which isn't easy to find (bless you, LGCC, for the great signage along the way), is really nice. It's not huge, but is designed to accommodate crowds large and small. I was fascinated by the huge panoramic photo along one wall - a labeled montage of all of the peaks of the North Cascades. I wish I had a wall that big at home, 'cuz I'd definitely love that photo for myself.

Lost Giants Cider Company has been on my radar to try for the last few months. Finally made it out to their cidery when we were in Bellingham for a day trip. We dropped in on a Saturday afternoon (around 3:15pm) and there were some customers inside hanging out. The place is spacious with a few tables and stools along both the bar and walls. Music is chill (heard some Dope Lemon being played) which goes perfectly with the relaxed vibes here. There's 10 cider flavours on tap (a couple staples and seasonals). Six packs ($11.00 US) were reasonably priced. They also offered two beers (from Kulshan Brewing Co.) and snacks. There's some merchandise (glassware, shirts, caps, beanies and stickers) and a few games that you can play (cribbage, puzzle and trivia). Water is self serve by the entrance. - Flight ($8.00 US for 4) - we went with the pineapple, aronia berry, rose and jalapeno-cucumber cider. Our favourite of the five that we sampled was the rose; refreshing, smooth and tasty. Pineapple was dry; you get the pineapple flavour but it's not juicy (if that makes sense). Never seen aronia berry used in a cider before (we were told it's similar to black currant). This one was okay but didn't find it to be very tart. The jalapeno-cucumber was interesting; you get a sprinkling of heat with a touch of cucumber. Wouldn't say the chili/heat is the best we've had in a cider (Finnriver's habanero cider comes to mind). - Red grapefruit infused dry cider ($2.00 US) - this is a good one for summer. Grapefruit, while subtle, comes through. I liked the friendly and chill vibes at LG. Their ciders won't blow you away but easy to drink. 3.5 stars.

Menu of ciders! Foxwhelp was my favorite. Also if you like a little sweetness the pineapple is so tasty!

My first time here and it was awesome! Kelsey was super nice informative and welcoming. I am studying for a big Cider test and she was more then accommodating when I asked for a blind taste flight so I could work on my tasing! First I love that they do dry to semi dry I am not a fan of the sweet stuff. Ciders were well balanced I loved the single varietal. The space is clean and inviting. I loved the long bar and that the water is dispensed from a kegerator. They had some beautiful local art on the walls and I think their logo is super fun! It's definitely a must stop when in the area!

I love Lost Giants. I have been missing their ciders, so I made an online order for pickup. I do not live in Bellingham, so it was really nice that I could schedule my pickup for a later date (as long as I got it within their open hour time frame). Pickup was safe, distanced. They had hand sanitizer and masks, and they check your order with you. This was by far the easiest pick up I have done. Thank you Lost Giants for continued excellent service, and your Passionfruit Guava is one of a kind. Their Pineapple Habanero is a favorite of mine as well, but whatever your pick is, you can't lose. :)

I'm just warming up to trying cideries in the same frequency as I do craft beer breweries. It's a nice change of pace by having just a little something different instead of having back to back beer while doing weekend tours to places that are on the "to try" list. As I started trying cideries that I am a lot more picky with what ciders and cider companies that I like as opposed to beer. Lost Giants Cider Company was a cider place that was on my "to try" list and while I was glad that I gave it a try the cider I had here just didn't quite match up with other cider experiences that I have had so far. Perhaps I should have tried another cider over the one I picked however when doing these beer and cider tours on a weekend one has to drink small so you can keep hitting all of the stops you intend on going to with out feeling ill. At Lost Giants I got their Graf cider which is a cider beer that was made in collaboration with Boundary Bay Brewing. Normally I really like collaborations between two companies but in this case I wasn't too impressed with what I got. While there were hops that were noticeable overall I thought that the cider was fairly tasteless. But I did find positives to Lost Giant as well. The staff was very friendly and easy to deal with and the taproom had a nice clean and crisp look to it. I liked some of the decor as well. Especially the large horizontal picture of the various mountain peaks in the area and their names... the same peaks that we saw prior when we went to Artist Point to enjoy the views and scenery there.

Off the beaten path a bit, you will find Lost Giants Cider Company. The décor is fun, the staff is friendly and the cider is just awesome. Lost Giants has created a great gathering spot for friends to enjoy a cider and play a board game if they are in the mood and to relax, sit back and enjoy the day. They offer a nice selection of options of cider to please everyone's pallet. I liked it and will be back next time I am in the hood.

    Logo on building, awesome!

Lost Giants is already changing up the ciders which keeps it interesting! First time out I really enjoyed both the #2 as a stronger, dry cider that packs a punch without sacrificing flavor... and was surprised how much I enjoyed the Jalapeño Cucumber which has a spicy nose complemented by a very subtle, drinkable nature. Second time my wife and I tried the Rustic, Barrel-Aged Agrestic, Semi-Sweet and Rhubarb infused ciders... my wife is a major foodie, self-described picky drinker, and she loved them all! This is a first for her at any Cider company or brewery. Great space, great logo, great owner/operators... great addition to Bellingham!

Stopped here on a quiet Saturday. Clean, quaint place with good looking photos on the walls--the giant North Cascades panorama is fantastic--and wooden beams on the ceiling. Besides cider the menu also features a couple of local beers and pretzels with mustard. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable (the founders came from Kulshan Brewing). WiFi and dog-friendly

Bellingham's second "cidery" is a total hit in my books! Came here with a friend and tried a flight of ciders. You can build your own for $2/4 oz glass so it is so easy to try everything that interests you. I had the semi-sweet, the cranberry semi-sweet and the elderberry cider. They were all good and tasted exactly as described. They have a different cider flavor every week, this week was their semi-sweet infused with cranberry and it was my favorite of the evening. It will be fun to see other flavors that come through! The prices are really reasonable, so much so that I was surprised. The setting is bar-style with a few tables. They offer free wifi. They do NOT serve food but they do sell two local beers on tap as well as bottled soda and la croix. The establishment is clean. They have T-shirts/sweatshirts/growlers/glasses/6 packs of cider for sale to take home with you, again all at super reasonable prices. I will be back!!!

Great, small, quiet place! They don't have a huge selection of cider flavors like Bham Cider Company, but still makes a good cider!

Not a huge cider drinker but this was solid and the bartender was a cool guy. OVN the pizza place is here in Friday's.
