We were in Bellingham and wanted somewhere fun to sit outside for lunch. Bellingham Cider Co has a lot of outdoor seating and was able to get our party of 10 an immediate table. They have a great menu with choices for adults and kids. I opted for the BLT, which was good! The tomato on my sandwich leaked out so much liquid, though, that the bread on the bottom of my sandwich was soaked. The cider selection was awesome. I really enjoyed getting to try a few different ones on the flight. Super dog friendly spot and great views from their outdoor dining area.

Cool atmosphere and location. Great views. Food was so so. Got the meat sauce pasta, and it was pretty dry. The fries were touted by the server as fabulous, but it was nothing special. In fact the fries were not even hot. The fried chicken is supposed to be the star of the show, but it was nothing really special. Again, it was not hot, but had good crispness. No photos, but the receipt proves we were there.

Finally! A cider house with great food! We loved all our meals here. The truffle fries were to die for. We enjoyed a few flights of ciders and tried all the flavors! The decor is very tasteful and cute. The wait staff was friendly. I would go when you have plenty of time to visit as it does take a bit to get your food but it is worth the wait. Can't wait to return during nice weather to enjoy sitting outside where there is a nice view.

Rainy evenings in Bellingham call for touring around the different brewing spots! Our first spot was BCC, and we were sat at the bar as it was booked and we only wanted drinks. The inside is gorgeous, but the outdoor patio is what really stood out to me. I wish it had been nicer, I would have loved to sit out there and enjoy my drink! My group got two cider flights to share among four people. It was a lot of cider and a good deal when the price was split between us. Our favorite cider was the strawberry rhubarb. The other ciders all kind of tasted similar after that. We struggled to differentiate them. Or maybe we just saturated our palette too fast, unsure. But the straw-rhubarb was really yummy. We also ordered some truffle fries which were expensive and none of us really tasted the truffle... I don't think I'd opt for those again. The other food on the menu looked good as well, but none of us were hungry enough to try something else.

The menu looked decent! Didn't get a chance to eat, however. I attempted to dine on the outdoor patio with my cardiac service dog. For starters the hostess seemed more miserable to be there than I am during a Pap smear. I have multiple heart conditions, and my service dog is best equipped to alert me the closer he is. I wasn't trying to have my second heart attack here. I have a bag that he stays in, and I did have him on the chair, which I understand a non-service dog is not allowed to be on. Our server immediately came up and explained this. Understood, but as I explained that he is trained to detect my arrhythmias and palpitations, the server repeated he cannot sit on the chair. I tried to explain again and was met with an incredibly unprofessional eye roll, and he stormed off. I wouldn't attempt to dine here again even if my heart miraculously cures itself.

Thin sliced pizza that was disappointing.

Maybe we ordered wrong but the mushroom pizza was barely a step up from a frozen pizza bought at the grocery store. The thin crust had no flavor and the toppings were sparse. The Arcadian salad was okay, but they serve full size lettuce leaves which need to be cut but they don't provide knives. Drinks are good, the slushy was very good.

Came for Happy Hour drinks and dinner. Great service on their dog-friendly outdoor patio which had a nice water view. Our waitress brought out a compostable water bowl for our pup. So sweet! The beer and ciders we tried were all fantastic. The impossible burger was amazing. It had a delicious garlic aioli that melted together with Beecher's cheese to create creamy, sweet, and savory perfection. The arugula on top instead of ordinary iceberg was a surprising enhancement and added a nice bite. The Impossible burger was provided for no up charge which is so freaking cool and cooked amazing with a nice crispy sear! My husband loved his Rueben sandwich and said he was a "big fan." If we had to leave a criticism, the Fry Flight was a bit overpriced (even at the HH discount) and although everything was good, none of the sauces particularly stood out and we both agreed we would probably skip it next time. But they get 5 stars because everything else was awesome!

    Cajun Benedict.

The food was amazing! We went for brunch. They have brunch until 3pm on the weekends. Sadly, they were out of the crab cake Benedict, so I had the Cajun Benedict. It was good, but the meat was too rich for me after a few bites. My husband had the chicken and waffles, oh boy, highly recommend! So good. The service was just okay, we waited for awhile to order, and then we're finally informed they were out of the item I selected. Hoping to try it next time. She was pretty busy, so I get it. I would recommend giving this place a try. The food was fresh and the quality of the food was spectacular. I've had all of their ciders and I enjoy them all! If you are looking for a good cider spot this is it!

Best burger in Bellingham, as far as I'm concerned. Like both indoor and outdoor seating. Service is always excellent.

I've lived in and around Bellingham for my entire life and somehow never realized this spot existed. What a find! For starters the reviews were great, but the parking lot was full when we arrived at 1pm on a random Wednesday which is typically a good sign that this is the spot. The entrance lives up to the name with a beautiful arched door to welcome you in. The space is large and airy with a ton of visual interest. We were told there was a 5-15 minute wait but it was very quick before we were seated in the bustling dining room. Our server was attentive and very friendly. Seeing the food and amazing coffee/hot chocolate drinks being delivered was genuinely exciting us. With peaches in season, peach blintzes and French toast were on special. The server recommended the blintzes so that's what I ordered. When they arrived she told me that if I didn't like them they would switch them out which was a nice offer but I absolutely loved them. I also ordered the fancy Vienesse coffee which was a true treat! Overflowing with homemade whip it was amazing, but not super hot. My hubby ordered the Buttermilk breakfast which was two pancakes, one egg, bacon, fruit and included coffee and juice. The house coffee was delish which was a very nice to have. He also ordered a side of sourdough bread which was amazing with the homemade jelly. My daughter ordered the kids chocolate chip pancakes and devoured them. The only complaint was that it was a little on the spendy side, but when you consider that it's literally all homemade ingredients it's absolutely worth it. Can't believe we've slept on this place for so long. Will definitely be back!

Really enjoyed the baked French Ham & Cheddar omelet. Plenty for us to split. They have excellent butter that enhances their already great pancakes. The pancakes were included with the omelet. Pretty proud of their biscuits but we thought ours was overcooked. We enjoyed eating the soft middle inside, but left the crusty outside. And we're not raspberry preserve folks. I love fresh raspberries but just can't do any other raspberry items. Tried the preserves but just not for me. Probably won't order the bacon again either. Good flavor but thick cut and hard to cut/chew. We'll be back!!

The patio can get a bit chilly, but it's worth it for the view, and they do have heaters available. I started with a salad, followed by the Keenan's burger with a garbanzo bean patty, and the soup du jour. All three were delicious. The complimentary bread served with garlic herb spread was a wonderful start--aromatic and very satisfying. The salad had a great balance of fresh vegetables and toppings. On a cold day, the soup was especially comforting. The burger itself was well prepared and flavorful. The staff was polite and attentive, though they seemed a bit overwhelmed due to a large party seated next to us. Another nice perk: there's a boardwalk and beach right next door, making it a great place for a stroll before or after your meal.

I ordered the halloumi pasta and the vegan chocolate mousse. The pasta dough itself tasted super fresh, but the sauce was a little dry and the flavor was just okay. The mousse was extremely chalky and borderline inedible. I would recommend Keenan's for a drink on the pier but skip the food.

Wonderful food and drinks. I started with oyster shooters (Willapa Bay) along with a Lion's Tail cocktail. Sierra said the bourbon and lime complement each other. I wouldn't have thought so and thought it a bit of an odd choice. But she was right and I was wrong: it was fabulous. One of the most delicious drinks I've ever had, for my tastes. She gave me several recommendations for dinner. I picked the Jalapeño Chicken. It was luscious and flavorful, but the best part of it was my choice of Balsamic Brussels sprouts as my side--oh my! These were so delicious I ordered two more batches to have at home. Lovely espresso martini to end it all.

We were seated promptly by a friendly hostess at a table in DT Fairhaven, and our server was the bartender. After being seated, we waited a long time without anyone taking our order. We eventually asked if we had a server and were told it was him, with no apology or explanation. We ordered drinks and food, but after more than 40 minutes, we noticed two tables seated after us had already been served, finished eating, and were leaving. At that point, we asked for the check and said we would not be staying. About 15 minutes later, the server returned with our food instead of the check. We declined the meal and sent it back. He then asked if we wanted it boxed to go, which we also declined. His reaction suggested frustration rather than understanding. We never got to try the food, so we can't comment on it. The service, however, was well below expectations given the restaurant's reputation. This was lunch on July 15, 2026. We may try The Black Cat again in the future, hoping this was just an off day.

I have been coming to this restaurant since I was a young boy, attending special family dinners or just going to get pizza after soccer practice. Now well into adulthood I still find myself coming here with my wife for an excellent dining experience, any time or day of the week. This week we decided to go in for brunch, and I couldn't think of a better place to spend a dreary Washington morning. When you walk into this cozy little restaurant the smells of fresh breads and fried potatoes invite you into an elevated breakfast experience. Our hostess sat us down at a table almost immediately with the same friendly smile and welcoming attitude that I have come to expect from the staff at the fork. After sitting down and sipping of fresh squeezed orange juice we ordered two of our favorite breakfast plates. Chicken Fried Steak, and Corned Beef Hash. The Corned Beef Hash consisted two poached eggs sitting on a heaping pile of shredded corned beef that was both crispy and tender. Typically this dish is served with peppers and onions, but on this trip my wife opted out and the chef was happy to oblige our request. I can say from prior experiences that the peppers and onions are a fantastic addition to this mix. I went with the Chicken fried steak. A classic breakfast that requires a large appetite to face on your own! The cube steak was breaded and fried with the traditional seasonings, then covered in a house made gravy that was so rich and flavorful I couldn't put my fork down. I ordered mine with over medium eggs that were cooked perfectly, something that other kitchens can rarely get right. If you are a fan of Chicken Fried Steak then you must try this one! Both of our plates came with a large portion of golden brown home fries, and a fluffy biscuit served with honey butter and a peach preserve. Our server was extremely nice and very attentive. Although the restaurant was fairly busy she made sure our every need was taken care of :) I once again left the fork feeling full, and extremely satisfied. If the doors to this amazing restaurant are open, I will definitely be coming back again and again.
