Great specialty pizzas. Always trying something new. The beekeeper is awesome. Will definitely be back next time we are in town.

I tried this place for the first time today. We ordered some pizzas to go. I was disappointed at the size of their small pizza. It was entirely too small and was like the size of a child's pizza. The pizza was good though. I got a small thin crust pepperoni and garlic pizza. I was just disappointed at the size compared to a medium. Their chips and queso were alright.

Stopped in to check this place out; I love pizza and hadn't been before. This place looks unassuming from the outside but is very quirky and a little hip on the inside. Much bigger than the outside would leave you to belive. I ordered a large pepperoni and Italian with the thick crust (thin is the other option) and it came out very quickly despite being the lunch rush over the holiday. The pizza cheese came up to the edge of the crust and there was plenty of sauce. Taste wise there was something missing I couldn't quite place that kept it from being perfect, but it was still good. Staff was polite and cheerful. They had a bar and OK prices on beer, I'd definitely check them out.

The wings taste great, but this was what we were served. And order six nicely shown are eight "sections "

Ok - expensive Pizza - 17.00 for 10 wings. Counter help doesn't know what a "wing" is they give you a price quote for wings and then tell you they boneless. Which in proper English means nothing more than a chicken McNugget dipped in hot sauce how insulting. It's sad, especially for a buffalo native to watch people claim to have wings and their staff doesn't know the difference between wings and nuggets I give him praise for the pizza but sadly if you want good pizza and wings try Raphael's - you get a much better deal Good customer service in a decent price. . And they don't force their staff to split the tips. Ridiculous.

New pizza place for me, reminds me of a St Louis style pizza. Toasted Raviolis and Cheese Sticks were awesome, pizza was pretty good. Looking forward to going back to try some of their signature pizzas. Great pizza with an awesome theme!

Everything would have been 5 stars if my order was right! The teen girls at the counter were playing around and not taking it seriously but the service was not terribly slow. My pizza was thick crust instead of thin and was missing pepperoni unfortunately! But overall everything tasted good and was not too greasy and the small pizza is enough for one person! I most likely will return and do recommend! The place was cute and clean!

I like the ambiance and decor. I found myself walking around and looking at the photos and memorabilia on the walls and hanging from the ceiling. We had great service and the food was served quickly. Also, the prices were reasonable. I had the meat pizza and I liked the taste and appearance. My only complaint was the pizza sauce was a little off, and difficult to describe, but I was not a fan of the sauce. Will I return? Yes, I will try them again. They have a large menu so I might try one of their sammys or a pasta.

Nicecly decorated with nostalgic items from the 70s and 80s. The pizzas were very good, although a little salty. The small pizza is probably the smallest I've seen at a pizza restaurant. It is right-sized for a petite or light eater but may not be enough for a teen or typical adult. The service was good but they expect you to tip when placing your order, which I do not do. How can you tip good service if you haven't been served yet? Prices are a little high but about average for what you see these days for even fast-food.

The food here is amazing. Very, very good marinara sauce. Something truly hard to find outside of an Italian community. The toasted ravioli was as good as my St Louis roots. So hard to find them are not made with cheese ravioli. In St. Louis you get the death penalty for that. Perfect toasting, meat filled, just the way they are supposed to be. Sprinkle some Parmesan generously and perfection on a plate. I got the Otis pizza. Sort of their version of the meat lovers. My wife went with the Hot Chick. Both were amazing. The thin crust was perfect, crispy but not burnt. I really recommend this place. Great menu, wonderful food, attentive staff, and eclectic atmosphere. From the outside it looks small, but as the pictures show, plenty of seats inside. Be sure to check them out. Trust me, I know Italian food. This is top notch.

We'd never heard of it and having recently returned from the gulf I was feeling rather smug about seafood. What could this Chuck know about it all? Feeling adventurous, we decided to walk over and check it out after eating an entire pizza. Pizza was pretty good. Chuck's Fish was epic. I love that there's no TV at the bar. I love the decor. I love the fact that the namesake was a civil rights attorney. I love the fact that I can get incredible sashimi and order our daughter a pizza that is just as good as the joint across the street. Chuck I apologize. I promised the bar staff I'd Yelp you up after the first visit but once bitten twice shy so I gave it another go. I'm at your bar now. Trudy is helping me out. She's a pro. We had to try the snapper throats and the kimchi Brussels. Both were excellent. She opted for the red snapper with artichoke hearts, and I had the chorizo and shrimp rigatoni. We could've fed both of us on either entrée but brought food home instead. The menu is quite large, so I see this becoming a common date night destination. I wouldn't normally include this in a restaurant review, but the restrooms are remarkably small given the size of the venue. Given the popularity, I recommend reservations. We made them and were seated upon arrival.

There's ample parking and the interior looks nice enough; kind of a fun Italian mafia theme with lots of comfortable booths and an attractive bar with a good TV. Both the restaurant and the women's restroom were very clean. We entered right after opening but were made to feel quite welcome by the waitstaff. Our waitress brought our menus, including a lunch menu! I love a lunch menu. My mom and I both ordered the lunch portion of the spaghetti carbonara. She enjoyed her sweet tea and I had a diet soda. The entrees come with a piece of garlic bread. I thought the portion size and price were both perfect for a lunch serving. The garlic toast was crispy and buttery. We enjoyed our spaghetti carbonara. It's not made with eggs and cheese in the traditional way, but instead uses Alfredo sauce, which is a little disappointing to me. I remain on the hunt for that kind of carbonara in Huntsville. Still, it was a good Alfredo sauce, the pasta was cooked well, and there were ample little bacon bits. Pleasant visit, nice place for lunch -- give them a try for some solid American-Italian food if you're in the area!

When we got into the parking lot, we thought they were closed - not a car in sight. But I saw a tiny open sign and insisted that between that, and the hours on their website, they must be open. My friend and I insisted differently. She went in and, guess what? They really were open! When we walked in and saw a sign for happy hour. Bonus! We were set. We each bought a draft for a dollar off and purchased a few of the $5 apps. The garlic knots are noted in several reviews so that was a no brainer. We also ordered the beer cheese with pretzels and our friends ordered the spinach dip with tortilla chips. I can't tell you how many beers there were, let's just say plenty. The beer was icy cold, perfect for another 95 degree day. Yelp didn't disappoint, the garlic knots were soft, pull apart deliciousness. The accompanying pizza sauce was just ok. The beer cheese as good. The accompanying pile of soft pretzel bites would have been better without so much salt. I didn't try the spinach dip. Nobody else seemed very thrilled with it. It came with tortilla chips - I don't know what kind they were but even they didn't look good. Beer Hog is designed for fun. Pool tables, dart boards, a small arcade, indoor corn hole and an array of daily activities including Harry Potter trivia night, line dancing night and live music on the weekend. There was quite a bit of patio area which will be great once our inferno weather pattern breaks. There are a couple rooms available to rent for various size events. We spoke with one of the 3 owners. The three of them designed and built out the entire interior. The owner we spoke with told us how they built the bar and every table in the building. They did a great job identifying and executing the unusual repurposing of the old library. Now that school is restarting, patrons need to mindful of afternoon traffic. If you don't know Hughes Road, just know it's a zoo when all of the schools let out. We'll definitely be back. The garlic knots alone are enough to guarantee that.

We were there for a late lunch, so we basically had the run of the place. Our server was very sweet, non-intrusive, and--though she did forget about a caesar salad until reminded after entrees were served--overall did a great job. Drinks were refilled promptly, etc. The food? Eh, it was fine. The garlic styx (why do they spell it this way, ARGH) were pizza dough, not actually "bread," and holy CRAP was there a lot of garlic on them. I mean entire cloves coating it. I don't mind garlic so I wasn't mad, but it was a bit much. The side of marinara was adequate in both taste and volume, but tasted jarred. I got the 10-layer eggplant. Now, I love eggplant parm and I see where they were going with this, but it was just SO cheesy. I love cheese and marinara and eggplant and all that jazz, but this singular dish probably contained 2 lbs (no joke) of cheese condensed into a 5"x5" square. I know there was eggplant in there (finely sliced, like on a mandolin thin). I know there was sauce in there (there was some swirled around the dish). However, all I could taste was...cheese. This is the first, and likely will be the last, time I ever complain about too much cheese. Practical notes: I didn't see any super dinginess like other reviews state, but I also didn't go to the bathroom. Your mileage may vary. Parking is a niiiiiiiightmaaaaaaare even when the restaurant isn't busy. Make sure your parallel parking skills are up to date or try and squeeze into one of the lots. Portions are large, so order accordingly. If you order something with cheese and are even remotely sensitive to dairy, bring your Lactaid and triple the dose. We stopped by Earth and Stone Wood Fired Pizza on a whim. We were headed to check out Indian food. Walking inside we could see a room with people drinking beer. We ordered The Patriarch which is like a supreme pizza and the Italian salad. We were given a pager and told when it went off we could pick up our foods at the pick up counter. The Patriarch was a thin crust pizza similar to a supreme. The toppings were good but sparse. I would have preferred more meats and red sauce. The crust wasn't as crunchy as I like. I cut the pizza with a knife and fork. I didn't get the wood taste like I did on the other pizza I ate that was wood fired. 3/5 The Italian salad was made of fresh greens and included basil and some shaved Parmesan. The Italian dressing was bottled I believe but good. 4/5 This pizza restaurant is convenient by a brewery. If you indulge too much on the brews, you can get a bite to eat without leaving the building. If you are near Campus 805, aka former Stone Middle School, this restaurant is in the backside. The pizza underwhelmed me on this visit. I will return to try something else. 3/5
