    Boxes everywhere...

3.8 Pretty good latte. I don't like cookie butter, so I knew I needed to get some thing other than their signature airplane latte. There was a small sign for the summer latte options, but not an overall sign with the general menu - which is kind of odd. So I had to "create my own" drink. 2.5 for the ambiance, which was a bit weird too, and kind of all over the place. You can't really tell what vibe they're going for. Boxes piled up everywhere, a random balloon arch. A merch table ? The waiting line also goes right through the middle of the seating area. So I kept getting bumped into and having to move back to make way for walking people. Very clunky. 1.0 The last thing I'll note, which isn't an overall ding towards them, but it added to the experience...I was waiting behind 1 single girl, and when she was next - FIVE other people came up to join her. Ordering one by one. And then a group of 6 other people tried to join in, but then somehow ended up behind me. The line was already 10 people deep. I'm not sure how anyone let this happen....

Warm apple fritter. Maybe not what you would have thought when walking in, but they warm it up and serve it on a plate with just the right amount of small apple chunks in it! Mouth watering to say the least. The avocado toast was good and fulfilling. I wouldn't say great but along with a solid cappuccino it was good.

Fast and friendly service in a lovely and quaint atmosphere. I ordered their specialty latte and the Beattie's bagel. Both came out quickly. I wasn't quite expecting the coffee drink to be more like a dessert, but here were are. It was so tasty and delicious, but a bit too sweet for breakfast. The bagel sandwich was delicious. I had it work turkey sausage and it was so simple and delicious it was perfect. I'm glad I was able to stop in after reading the great reviews.

Another day of exploring coffee shops due to internet issues at home. I've saw this place float around in comments so I decided to give it a try. Let me just say I will be returning. I loved the music that was playing, my Hugo hash bowl was so tasty (that aioli sauce chef's kiss) and my specialty Airplane latte with the extra cookie was amazing. I can see why it was a favorite. The customer service was on point as well. Everyone was friendly and made me feel like a regular customer!

We happened to find Lottie's Cafe right around the corner from our hotel when we were celebrating our anniversary, and I'm so glad we did! I had the Bacon, Egg & Cheese on brioche, while Eddie had the Brisket Beattie's Bagel, and the food was awesome! My sandwich originally came with an over-easy egg, which wasn't quite how I wanted it, but when I asked the chef if she could fry it instead, she did it with no problem and no attitude. That kind of customer service always stands out! The vibes were good, the service was great, and baby, the iced chai was the icing on the cake! Definitely a great find in Uptown Charlotte. We'll be back!

We are about to head out of Charlotte and needed to cap off the great food wine and good conversation we needed a quiet respite and fount Lotties Cafe 15 minutes before close...No issues we were served with exceptional services and choices. The place was spick and spank with the restroom to match. If you are a coffee connisour this the spot.

Comfortable, nicely decorated cafe where you can come for a quick breakfast or stay awhile and get some work done I ordered the bacon, egg n cheese too good! Check out the merchandise for some great gems!

We were in Charlotte for a weekend of events and stopped by Lottie's on our way to a Panthers game recently. It was obviously packed on game day and so there was a little wait, but nothing crazy. Ordered the Purr Latte to get in the Gametime spirit and a bagel sandwich. The sandwich was pretty decent, nothing overly impressive. The coffee was very tasty, although missing the "blue". Nonetheless, a good latte to get the day started.

It's a packed place with raving reviews! BUT I think they weren't ready for the crowd. Terrible customer service: I was standing next in line rather than telling me she was working on something the cashier ignored my existence and didn't even tell me a thing.. it was over 5 minutes and she was standing right in front of me.... Terrible. Then another girl comes as soon as I say the deluxe avo toast she said it's going to be 25 minutes annoyed demeanor... I told her never mind. I'll just get a drink. I hope the drink and the walk are worth it. Now I have to find food elsewhere. I'm really bummed the service was terrible. Cute place local stuff to shop - nothing has the price listed. So there might be surprises there. I was really hopefully for this place and to try the food. Took a point away - drink has no flavor way too much milk and no lavender. Go on a day it's not so busy.

Came in with my husband with no intention of getting anything this particular day, but once I saw how good the iced airplane latte looked, I just had to get one! It was our first time here and everyone was very friendly. 100% worth a try!!

We recently had a very relaxing and tasty lunch at Lottie's during our first visit in Charlotte! We came in initially to have a bite to eat, because we were really feeling some egg and cheese sandwiches and coffee, but ended up sticking around for a while longer because the whole vibe was relaxing, inviting, and everyone around seemed to have had the same idea! The bagels were delicately cooked, there was a wide variety of menu options, and overall we very much enjoyed!

Lottie's has a really cute café space. They have a light food menu. I came and had a latte. It is on the lighter side and a bit more milky than coffee. Nice indoor space. Casual. Good service. Please come and create your own adventure.

Underneath a train station in the corner of Upton is Lottie's Cafe, a low key cafe for coffee and a dainty breakfast.

I know I made it look very pretty in my photos, but don't be fooled. Here is the complete review. We found the green tomatoes bland and appeared to have been frozen before being prepared. The "Gravy Train" with the mini biscuit was inedible. The gravy itself was OK. Nothing special, not one of the three were "great." But the mini biscuits were terrible, hard, dense chunks of dough. I ate one of them and discarded the rest. The "Chicken Ditch the Waffle" was equally terrible. Whatever they did to turn the biscuit into "fake" French toast is a 100% fail. They were as dense and unappealing as the mini biscuits. The chicken itself was fine. If I was only rating the chicken I'd probably give it a 3.5. The best dish was actually the "GOAT." It was served with a Standard biscuit which we thought was still too dense and dry. I recommend finding an independent restaurant that serves real, "from scratch" food. I should point out that the service crew in the dining room who delivered the food as well as provided cleanup and assistance, were exceptional. They were friendly, courteous, and focused on customer service. I'm sure they deserve more than they are being paid. It was obvious many of them were spanish-speaking immigrants. Not everyone in the restaurant treated them with the respect and gratitude they deserve. Here's the detail of our order from their menu. The waitress recommended the mimosa carafe since we were both ordering mimosas. They have the juice and champagne separate, and it's more than enough champagne. We were given more juice, too. We ordered the omelette. I added onions, peppers, smoked Gouda, and bacon to it. The Gouda set it off. It was delicious but could use more cheese on top or something. TN potatoes were flavorful and crispy enough. The toast was standard. My fiancé ordered the WWIII with chicken thigh. The waffle was okay. Nothing special, and the chicken was seasoned almost too much but was pretty good. Both paired well with the syrup. The music was great. Explicit but it was like they took my Spotify playlist and put in on the speaker. The waitress was fine. Wish she would've told us how much the mimosa carafe cost when she suggested it, but it was worth it. If we are in town again, we may go back.
