Warm apple fritter. Maybe not what you would have thought when walking in, but they warm it up and serve it on a plate with just the right amount of small apple chunks in it! Mouth watering to say the least. The avocado toast was good and fulfilling. I wouldn't say great but along with a solid cappuccino it was good.

Fast and friendly service in a lovely and quaint atmosphere. I ordered their specialty latte and the Beattie's bagel. Both came out quickly. I wasn't quite expecting the coffee drink to be more like a dessert, but here were are. It was so tasty and delicious, but a bit too sweet for breakfast. The bagel sandwich was delicious. I had it work turkey sausage and it was so simple and delicious it was perfect. I'm glad I was able to stop in after reading the great reviews.

Came in with my husband with no intention of getting anything this particular day, but once I saw how good the iced airplane latte looked, I just had to get one! It was our first time here and everyone was very friendly. 100% worth a try!!

We are about to head out of Charlotte and needed to cap off the great food wine and good conversation we needed a quiet respite and fount Lotties Cafe 15 minutes before close...No issues we were served with exceptional services and choices. The place was spick and spank with the restroom to match. If you are a coffee connisour this the spot.

Comfortable, nicely decorated cafe where you can come for a quick breakfast or stay awhile and get some work done I ordered the bacon, egg n cheese too good! Check out the merchandise for some great gems!

We were in Charlotte for a weekend of events and stopped by Lottie's on our way to a Panthers game recently. It was obviously packed on game day and so there was a little wait, but nothing crazy. Ordered the Purr Latte to get in the Gametime spirit and a bagel sandwich. The sandwich was pretty decent, nothing overly impressive. The coffee was very tasty, although missing the "blue". Nonetheless, a good latte to get the day started.

It's a packed place with raving reviews! BUT I think they weren't ready for the crowd. Terrible customer service: I was standing next in line rather than telling me she was working on something the cashier ignored my existence and didn't even tell me a thing.. it was over 5 minutes and she was standing right in front of me.... Terrible. Then another girl comes as soon as I say the deluxe avo toast she said it's going to be 25 minutes annoyed demeanor... I told her never mind. I'll just get a drink. I hope the drink and the walk are worth it. Now I have to find food elsewhere. I'm really bummed the service was terrible. Cute place local stuff to shop - nothing has the price listed. So there might be surprises there. I was really hopefully for this place and to try the food. Took a point away - drink has no flavor way too much milk and no lavender. Go on a day it's not so busy.

We recently had a very relaxing and tasty lunch at Lottie's during our first visit in Charlotte! We came in initially to have a bite to eat, because we were really feeling some egg and cheese sandwiches and coffee, but ended up sticking around for a while longer because the whole vibe was relaxing, inviting, and everyone around seemed to have had the same idea! The bagels were delicately cooked, there was a wide variety of menu options, and overall we very much enjoyed!

Underneath a train station in the corner of Upton is Lottie's Cafe, a low key cafe for coffee and a dainty breakfast.

Lottie's has a really cute café space. They have a light food menu. I came and had a latte. It is on the lighter side and a bit more milky than coffee. Nice indoor space. Casual. Good service. Please come and create your own adventure.

Love supporting local coffee shops, and I had to make my way to Lottie's. The space is super cute from indoor seating to window seating to outdoor seating. Throughout the café you can buy local items like candles and hats. I ordered the iced Biscoff latte and avocado toast. The customer service was great. We ordered to go but ended up sitting to eat. Someone came up to check on us just to make sure they didn't accidentally make our food to go instead of for eating in. Would definitely go back to switch my work from home routine. Only con is paying for parking if you don't live uptown.

I had the best time at an event hosted at Lottie's called the Coffee Set. The coffee line was *long,* but my drink came out in minutes, I couldn't believe it! I ordered a honey vanilla latte. It was tasty, just not as sweet as other shops, but I'd definitely try it again. Everyone around me had fun looking frappes and amazing pastries. On a weekday, this would be a great spot to work--there are plenty of parking decks around to make coming and going easy.

    Deluxe avo toast

So the place looks nice at the beginning but after that everything falls down. 1) they don't have a paper menu, so you need actually to look at your phone to look at the menu 2) I ordered a cappuccino and I got a café au lait. No foam nothing 3) my friend ordered an americano : he got it iced instead of hot 4) I ordered a "Deluxe Avo toast" really? What is deluxe with a poor quality white bread toast that you have on the top a poor smashed avocado with no flavor . No good presentation 5) the side potatoes we ordered came from a frozen bag! No taste no flavor! 6) we ordered to eat on site : I got a cup and plastic silverware ! I don't recommend this place

I know I made it look very pretty in my photos, but don't be fooled. Here is the complete review. We found the green tomatoes bland and appeared to have been frozen before being prepared. The "Gravy Train" with the mini biscuit was inedible. The gravy itself was OK. Nothing special, not one of the three were "great." But the mini biscuits were terrible, hard, dense chunks of dough. I ate one of them and discarded the rest. The "Chicken Ditch the Waffle" was equally terrible. Whatever they did to turn the biscuit into "fake" French toast is a 100% fail. They were as dense and unappealing as the mini biscuits. The chicken itself was fine. If I was only rating the chicken I'd probably give it a 3.5. The best dish was actually the "GOAT." It was served with a Standard biscuit which we thought was still too dense and dry. I recommend finding an independent restaurant that serves real, "from scratch" food. I should point out that the service crew in the dining room who delivered the food as well as provided cleanup and assistance, were exceptional. They were friendly, courteous, and focused on customer service. I'm sure they deserve more than they are being paid. It was obvious many of them were spanish-speaking immigrants. Not everyone in the restaurant treated them with the respect and gratitude they deserve. Here's the detail of our order from their menu. They even have a "Dietary Preference" menu (look for it online), with keto, gluten-free, and vegetarian options. Some servers aren't aware of this menu, but they will see it in their Toast device if they look for it. We have landed on a couple of favorite dishes that are repeats for us. I like the Spanish Omelet keto-style. Instead of a biscuit and grits, you get a half of an avocado (sliced) and a roasted tomato. The omelet is always full of flavor, and I love it. My husband's favorite is their White Chocolate Bread Pudding Pancakes, with bacon ($2 extra). Don't let the name deter you--these pancakes aren't too thick. They are slightly chewy, and the white chocolate whiskey sauce is amazing. He rarely uses the syrup! Ruby's coffee is always good and strong, and their service is great, no matter who you get. The service is always fast and friendly, and of course, the food is good! I started with the fried green tomatoes, and they were easily the highlight of the meal. They were fried so well and topped with bacon, tomato, lettuce, and a tasty remoulade. I'm still thinking about them honestly! For my entrée, I ordered the 3 Little Pigs Omelet. Unfortunately, it was a bit underwhelming. It was smaller than I expected and didn't really resemble an omelet. It was a little messy and slightly runny for my taste. On the side, I added a single pancake and a bowl of grits, both of which were delicious though. I had a good experience and will definitely be back. I just wish the omelet had been prepared a little better.
