I picked up a banh mi to take to go. The bread was toasted as well. Given that I didn't eat the sandwich until almost an hour later, it was still very good. There was a generous amount of cold cut meats, pate, and mayo inside. Overall I was very happy with my order and hope to stop by again to dine in and enjoy the rest of the menu!

My fear got the best of me and prevented me from going a more "exotic" route and thus I went with a simple pho with rice noodle and beef. Yet simple this was not this broth had such tremendous flavor without the need to compromise it with any additional toppings/add ons. Though I haven't ventured too much out here with Vietnamese pho I have tried several and can confidently say this is the BEST one I've had yet! They do have a restroom for customers, but bare minimum seating and tables for people to dine in. Don't expect to get any table service, and it's first come, first seating. I saw a lot of supreme stuff all over the restaurant, too. The bike and boxes inside made it look like a warehouse or a large closet, too. It threw me off. You would order and then grab a seat. Someone will bring the food to your table if you're eating there. They do have ac, so that's good if you're trying to escape the heat. My friend and I ate inside and got the summer rolls, which wasn't tightly wrapped, and it was so hard to eat. It came apart right away, which I've never seen happen before. I don't suggest getting it at all. It was too messy to eat, and the ingredients were mainly noodles. I got the taro tea as that doesn't have caffeine inside of it. For my main meal, I got the hot pot noodle soup with a medium spice level with been tendon and fatty beef. The bad part about it was that my stomach hurt after an hour or so. It started as soon as we walked into the restaurant; there was an unfortunate water leak dripping down from the ceiling, right by the entrance. The staff put a bucket below a huge water bubble that had formed in the ceiling, to catch the drips... but you had to walk around it to get into the restaurant. Kind of weird that the staff didn't think of getting from a hardware store, one of those tarps that catches ceiling leaks and diverts the water thru a hose to a bucket... that isn't in the way of customers entering the restaurant. Anyway, we sat down, and ordered an old favorite dish, and decided to try a new one. The old favorite is the House-made Fish Cake Pho (Pho Cha Ca)! The kitchen staff hand makes the fish paste from scratch, with some kind of super addictive & flavorful spices, and I've really enjoyed it in the past. We also decided to try the Shaking Beef Rice (Com Bo Lac Lac) for the first time. Unfortunately, both dishes were disappointing. The fish cake in the pho looked and tasted like typical frozen type you can get at any Asian market... and was confirmed when we asked the staff. Where's my ATF fish cake?!? The beef cubes in the rice dish were (a) super overcooked (like beef jerky level chewy) and (b) the sauce was way, way too salty.
