Its hard to find good Chinese food in this area. We really liked the Shrimp with Pea Pods, the shrimp and veggies were very good. Chow Mein was awesome. Did not like the Fried Rice; as it was dry. Portions are large, will order 1/2 orders next time. We will definitely go back! read more

I really liked the food we got from Lotus. There was a decent line when we got there but they were speedy. I did go through my order after she stapled the bag shut just to be sure it was all there and there was a correction to be added. The food was great. Cashew chicken, mongolian beef, double pan fried noodles and orange chicken. Plenty for our family of 6 and then some. I would give this place 6 stars if possible I've been eating here for years and I've never had a problem with undercooked or bad tasting food. After years of not eating Chinese food Lotus garden brought me back to it. My favorites are Double dragon, pineapple fried rice, beef chow mien, and there crab cream cheese wontons. Whether I ate there or it was delivered it has always been a pleasant experience. I'd eat here once a week if I could afford it :) read more

New to Upland and this was my first order. I ordered the Vegie Rolls, Egg Fried Rice, Sweet and Sour Pork and the Giant Fried Shrimp. I loved the Sweet and Sour Pork, the Fried Rice and after re-heating the Vegie Rolls all those three were very tasty! The Rice had pineapple in it which gave it a nice little sweet to go with the savory of the fried rice/soy sauce. The Sweet and Sour pork was hot and delicious. The only thing I would not order again was the Giant Fried Shrimp, it was more breading than shrimp. Other than that, I will most definitely order from Lotus Garden again :) read more

Green beans were over cooked, our order was wrong, and food was pricey. We ordered pork fried rice but we got pork chow mein. Food was just ok, not great but edible. I love this place. I work at a hotel around the area and I love that they deliver it for only a $2 extra fee and minimum of $12. I am so picky about orange chicken other places, but I have ordered it over 5+ times and it is always delicious. I usually get their lunch special and their egg rolls are amazing! :) read more

I was very pleased with my delivery order from Lotus Garden. Everything was delicious and it arrived at my door less than 30 min from the time it was ordered. One of the reasons I decided to order delivery from them is that you don't have to go through Grubhub. I have ordered take out for our office at least 6 times from Lotus Garden and have been very pleased. NOT TODAY! I ordered orange chicken and I got orange breading. I called to complain. When I tried to explain what I had been served instead of my orange chicken the woman on the phone said "orange flour?" and I said exactly! Fried orange flour! (I think she had already had complaints about this 'dish') She offered me a free entree next time. I told them unfortunately I was moving out of town and there would be no next time could they give me a credit on my card. I heard much discussion in Chinese and when the woman came back on the phone she said the "cook" said No. I asked her why the cook was making decisions. Under new management now and there has definitely been an improvement in the food and service since last year. I would still consider the menu more fast-food than gourmet - however everything I've tried so far has been tasty. Not much decor, so best for take out or grabbing a quick bite on your way somewhere. I would have normally given Lotus Garden a better review, but after my conversation with "ChiChen" if that is even her name, but she is answering the phones tonight. She was every bit rude and inconsiderate. I'm calling in a delivery, paying good money for simple Chinese food, I deserve a bit respect. But instead "ChiChen" could not hear me, so I spoke louder, and also said I was having trouble hearing her and her reply was "what do you expect it's a restaurant" after rushing through my order and not repeating it back to me to ensure it was correct or giving me the price she says "okay bye" as I quickly respond with hold on please, can you repeat my order? And how long will it take? She rushes out 45-55 mins. And hung up. I call back saying I want to cancel my order and do not charge my card, she again replies very quickly "okay bye" so then I call for the 3rd time!!! And she gives me a huge attitude, saying there is no manager no owner to speak to, no one is in charge?! How is that possible? After being a frequent customer from them I will never order from them again because of "ChiChen" they need to fire her or they will continue to lose more business! read more
