Where did you guys go????? Me and my fam went yesterday and sadly you where no longer there

Orange chicken with hot and sour soup (which I had eaten half of before taking this picture) and Thai tea with boba. All super yummy!

The staff were friendly, the food was hot. I really liked the selection on the lunch menu, and the hot and sour soup! The Thai tea with boba was also yummy. I highly recommend!

Located in a small strip mall in Claremont, between the Dollar Tree and Fitness 19. This is a great boba tea/ Taiwanese cuisine restaurant! This is the best braised beef noodle soup that I have ever eaten! Rich beef broth, perfectly seasoned, with pak choy cabbage, thin noodles, and tender braised beef chunks. Amazing dish! Highly recommend this shop! They have both counter ordering for boba teas, and table service with full food menu. Clean men's and woman's restrooms.

Located in a quiet strip mall, this boba & dessert shop has a great lunch special! I'm pretty sure they have a Chinese chef, and each dish had plenty of protein! The lunch special comes with white rice, some pickled cucumbers (not listed on menu), and your choice of hot and sour soup or egg drop soup. We ordered Mushroom Chicken, Pineapple Beef, and Shrimp with Broccoli and Snow Peas. The food came out hot and delicious! Service was excellent!

Typical Chinese restaurant where you get a big portion for a pretty good price but the food is a lil mid. It's what I crave when I want Chinese food but not as tasty as other places. Still I had a great time and the waitress was very nice and the place had great seating and wasn't too loud so my friend and I had a great talk!

This place is a local gem. The food is delicious and fresh. They are open on Mondays, too, when I somehow get my craving for their dumplings and soup. Try their walnut shrimp if you like shrimp. It is our favorite.

Aren't those egg rolls dreamy looking?! Your order comes with 5 but my bride beat my camera to the punch!

It's not awful, but it tastes frugal. I arrived at Almond Haus Cafe (Claremont) on Sunday (around 12:20PM). Parking is easy. The lot is very big. My immediate impression of the location's interior is "abandoned warehouse." There's cardboard boxes lying about; the lights are dim & gloomy; and the furniture & walls looked old and poorly maintained. There were no customers, other than myself. Staff zipped out from the back when I'd entered. There's no self-service kiosks, so customers order at the counter. Staff is friendly and welcoming. After receiving my drink, Staff vanished into the back for the entire time. The drink took one minute and six seconds. Fast!! As mentioned, the Brown Sugar Milk Tea ($5.50) with Boba (additional 79 cents) is not awful. It's big, cheap, and thirst-quenching. Although the boba lacked any perkiness, I did appreciate its very small sweetness. Concerning the ambiance, it felt sad. Chairs had mysterious black stains, dust & webs gripped the windows' corners, yellow & aged plants lazed about, and lights stayed dimly lit like a haunted house. However, there's utility. Almond Haus Cafe (Claremont) has six electrical outlets. There's also customer internet with password; details on the plastic countertop. And there's a restroom for customers. In addition, the floors and tables are fairly clean. Overall, Almond Haus Cafe (Claremont) feels like a forgotten relic of time. At the very minimum, it's an adequate establishment. If you're searching for affordability and a place to study/work, there's potential. 3.3 out of 5

The moment you take a sip, you're hit with a rich, creamy flavor that perfectly captures the essence of cookies and cream. The drink has a nice balance between the milk base and the cookie crumbles, making it feel like a treat that's both refreshing and comforting. My friend tried the green apple slushie with green apple jelly. She said it was yummy too ! The jelly itself was packed with a burst of green apple flavor, adding a fun, fruity twist with each bite. It's the perfect balance between refreshing and satisfying. Plus, the drink was beautifully prepared and came in a nice, clear cup that let me enjoy the vibrant green color. The staff at the shop were super friendly, and the service was quick. I also noticed that they offer a variety of customization options like ice level and sweetness level, so you can really make it your own. Feel free to adjust it further to fit your style, I recommend to drink 50% or 75% sweetness.

The entrance is a little hard to spot as it's not like a typical store front, it's more of a hut, with straw walls that you need to identify to go in. The outdoors section is covered by an awning and the indoor tea-sipping area has deep set couch-like chairs. Several events are hosted here like poetry readings, and it's lovely to see the community that shows up here. The selection of tea is very fun to shop through--there are different sections like medicinal to mood-based teas (I've uploaded a few that I found quirky and delightful). You can buy a packet of the tea leaves, or find the flavor you want and then tell the counter who'll brew up a cup for you (hot or cold). My gripe here (and why I removed a star) is that they don't explain what the notes/composition of the tea are, and when I asked the server, he said he didn't know either (which felt odd given how expansive this tea shop is). I recommend parking anywhere in the Claremont village and then walking over, as it's a little hidden and few spaces in the lot adjacent to it.

OONA has kiosks that take your orders which I appreciate. Every time I try a new boba place, I try my favorite thing to rate them fairly: a mango passionfruit green tea with crystal jelly. This shop is a little pricy, my order was a little over $8 including tax. However, the serving size is generous. There was a lot of seating on the inside and a few seats on the outside. My drink was ready within a few minutes. To get my drink, they just called out my name. I really enjoyed the crystal bobas from this place, by far the best crystal jelly I've had. The drink was good, it was nothing out of this world but it was a nice refresher to have after work. I'll definitely be coming here again with these 8-hour workdays. They have a good variety on their menu too. Alongside boba, they sell bento boxes and more food. They offer a lot of toppings for the boba and flavors. This is the best boba house in the Claremont village by far. I appreciate how fast the service is and how easy it is to order.

Upon arrival I was trying to figure out what I wanted to order and got helped immediately. Once we got our drinks the owner (Rowena) wanted to ensure that we liked them. We tried our lavender black tea and mango black tea with boba, and they were incredible. Shortly after this, Rowena brought me an additional drink to try (free of charge) just to give me an idea of another way I could order a similar drink with a different twist. Where do you find that kind of customer service nowadays?! We got to know Rowena a bit more, and we were taken aback by how hospitable she was to us. Once we told her it was our first time at Oona, she brought us a few samples to try. It almost felt as if we were guests at her house! It's clear that boba is Rowena's passion, she knows what she's doing and customer experience is her top priority. We told Rowena that she successfully made Oona our new boba spot when we want to leave Glendora/Azusa area and head to Claremont. You've got to try Oona! The boba is so good that it's worth a drive to experience it.

The worker was nice enough to remake it with their regular milk tea but she decided to add extra black tea. Sadly, both drinks were not up to par. The milk based one had the milky aftertaste and the milk tea was only sweet from the brown sugar syrup, so it was actually underwhelmingly not sweet.
