Where did you guys go????? Me and my fam went yesterday and sadly you where no longer there

Orange chicken with hot and sour soup (which I had eaten half of before taking this picture) and Thai tea with boba. All super yummy!

The staff were friendly, the food was hot. I really liked the selection on the lunch menu, and the hot and sour soup! The Thai tea with boba was also yummy. I highly recommend!

Located in a small strip mall in Claremont, between the Dollar Tree and Fitness 19. This is a great boba tea/ Taiwanese cuisine restaurant! This is the best braised beef noodle soup that I have ever eaten! Rich beef broth, perfectly seasoned, with pak choy cabbage, thin noodles, and tender braised beef chunks. Amazing dish! Highly recommend this shop! They have both counter ordering for boba teas, and table service with full food menu. Clean men's and woman's restrooms.

Located in a quiet strip mall, this boba & dessert shop has a great lunch special! I'm pretty sure they have a Chinese chef, and each dish had plenty of protein! The lunch special comes with white rice, some pickled cucumbers (not listed on menu), and your choice of hot and sour soup or egg drop soup. We ordered Mushroom Chicken, Pineapple Beef, and Shrimp with Broccoli and Snow Peas. The food came out hot and delicious! Service was excellent!

Typical Chinese restaurant where you get a big portion for a pretty good price but the food is a lil mid. It's what I crave when I want Chinese food but not as tasty as other places. Still I had a great time and the waitress was very nice and the place had great seating and wasn't too loud so my friend and I had a great talk!

This place is a local gem. The food is delicious and fresh. They are open on Mondays, too, when I somehow get my craving for their dumplings and soup. Try their walnut shrimp if you like shrimp. It is our favorite.

Aren't those egg rolls dreamy looking?! Your order comes with 5 but my bride beat my camera to the punch!

They have kiosks here that take your order, which I appreciate. I enjoy being able to take my time and figuring out what fruit I want in my açaí bowl. The prices here are extremely reasonable, I paid only $10. I got the smallest size and expected it to be really small, but it filled me up! They're not stingy with fruits here unlike a lot of other açaí places. My order came out within a few minutes and I didn't wait that long to get my bowl. My bowl was really delicious and I enjoy how their texture is different than other acai bowls I've had in the past. They also only use fresh ingredients here which is something I appreciate. If you're in Claremont, I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a good snack! They also offer sandwiches and other fresh food.

Seating is limited and parking may be hard to find at times, but the area is nice and I don't mind walking a little to the place. Every time my partner and I enter, we are greeted with kindness and joy. The owner, who I believe prepares all the orders, is an amazing person. She has passion for what she does and she goes above and beyond each time. The spot itself is nice and has its own charm. It is clean and well maintained. The Peel has many items to choose, from smoothies to açaí bowls to even sandwiches. They offer a discount for students as well who may be in the area. My favorite part is being able to build your own smoothie or açaí bowl. Their ingredients are fresh, natural, and sustainably sourced. They even offer toppings I've never seen other places offer, such as bee pollen. There are plenty of varieties to choose from. From the type of milk, to the type of yogurt, to the type of toppings, they have it all. After going to The Peel many times now and trying out a variety of creations my mind can come up with, I was pleased with each order I made. The pricing is even fairly reasonable, especially for the quality and service you are getting. This is by far my favorite smoothie/açaí bowl spot and I will be coming back. The Peel proves that you can achieve great quality and service with fair pricing. If you want a natural and refreshing drink or bowl, this is the place. To my knowledge, no military nor first responder discount offered.

It made me feel awful, so I just ended up paying extra for the drinks. Once I got my drinks, I was met with a stare when I said thank you. After leaving the cafe, I realized that my drinks were made with more than half with ice (photo attached below). For the amount of drink I received, the extra charge on my drinks, and the attitude of the workers, I am extremely disappointed with my experience here at The Spot Cafe. The entrance is a little hard to spot as it's not like a typical store front, it's more of a hut, with straw walls that you need to identify to go in. The outdoors section is covered by an awning and the indoor tea-sipping area has deep set couch-like chairs. Several events are hosted here like poetry readings, and it's lovely to see the community that shows up here. The selection of tea is very fun to shop through--there are different sections like medicinal to mood-based teas (I've uploaded a few that I found quirky and delightful). You can buy a packet of the tea leaves, or find the flavor you want and then tell the counter who'll brew up a cup for you (hot or cold). My gripe here (and why I removed a star) is that they don't explain what the notes/composition of the tea are, and when I asked the server, he said he didn't know either (which felt odd given how expansive this tea shop is). I recommend parking anywhere in the Claremont village and then walking over, as it's a little hidden and few spaces in the lot adjacent to it.
