    Orange Chicken Fries - Spicy
    Maritza B.

The Orange Chicken Fries are worth trying. Definitely shareable. Very saturated in sauce. We got the spicy fries and it was mild for me. Friendly service. Outside tables could use some cleaning but the inside was clean.

Orange Chicken Fries!!!!!! Have you heard of this viral favorite? Mr. Yu in Montclair is actually the original creator of the viral Orange Chicken Fries! It kind of feels like an In-N-Out secret menu item with a Chinese-American twist They serve massive portions of Chinese fast food at incredibly affordable prices! And this char siu gives me all the Hong Kong comfort-food vibes The Combo C is only $13.59, and it comes with chow mein, fried rice, and three entrées! IG: socalhkfoodies

Half noodles and fried rice with spicy orange chicken

First time at Mr. You Express. Came here after a fun day at Lucky Art Crayology with the kiddos. Was getting hungry and my wife found Mr. You on yelp. Mr. You puts panda express to shame with their menu variety, hospitality and portion size. Explains why this place was busy when we came in. Patron after patron came in. The staff were all very welcoming, nice and helpful. They made the kids feel welcomed and the food was delicious. My daughters loved their noodles and fried rice. We ordered their entree menu i had their one item plate and my wife got also one item plate. Mine was half fried rice and noodles with my entree being spicy orange chicken which i have not seen at other Chinese fast food. My wife got their two item broccoli beef. The spicy orange chicken was gooooood!! I loved it nice balance of flavors and not too spicy (mild to medium) spicy level. Their broccoli beef was cooked well and flavored nicely with a hint of the peppers that balanced with the veggies. All in all 10/10. The portions are large especially when i saw the bbq pork (char siu) they packed that sucker up it was over capacity of the container. The price is on point with whats out in the industry but the portions also matches it so this place is hands down the best place for chinese food thats authentic and everyone will enjoy. If you live in montclair or are passing by make sure you stop by Mr. You Express for some well made chinese food plus you will be supporting a great small business. P.S. my wife said their door said they have a secret menu IYKYK . Now i have to come back and check their instagram @mryoumontclair to see what this secret menu is all about. Too bad they are not out where i am. Now i will have to come back lol

I've been seeing the orange chicken fries all over my feed, so we finally made the trip and wow... the hype is actually deserved. We ordered the carry out noodles with orange chicken and chow mein, and the portions were HUGE. Definitely the kind of meal that leaves you with leftovers for later. The orange chicken was crispy, saucy, and had that perfect sweet-and-tangy flavor without being overly heavy. The chow mein was flavorful and paired so well with it. You can tell why this spot has such a loyal following. And of course, we had to try the famous orange chicken fries. It's wild knowing this Montclair location is considered the original home of the viral orange chicken fries. Crispy fries loaded with orange chicken just sounds wrong until you try it... then it somehow makes perfect sense. If you're craving classic Chinese fast food with generous portions and want to see what started the orange chicken fries craze, this spot is worth checking out. The service is great, everyone is super nice! And love the ambiance, it makes me feel nostalgic being in there.

Came for the viral orange chicken fries. It's listed as a secret menu item, so don't hesitate to order when you don't see it on the written menu. You can order it spicy or regular. There's plenty of parking at this location. The establishment itself was busy with a line. Ordering was fast and easy with staff. There's seating inside and outside of the store. One order of orange chicken fries is enough to share for two people. Portion is about the size of half a plastic bag! The takeout box lid doesn't even close. The fries were dense and bland. The orange chicken itself is airy. I had expectations of it being crispier or tangier. The sauce, cheese, and green onion combo makes the whole entire dish. The fries and chicken end up as the way to get the sauce mix into your mouth. Overall a delicious sauce combo that is worth the hype!

If you haven't tried the Spicy Orange Chicken Fries yet, drop everything. Shoutout to Mr. You Chinese Food--the official creators of this masterpiece that started right here in Montclair, California! Fresh crinkle-cut fries wok-tossed with crispy chicken in that perfect sweet & spicy glaze, then absolutely loaded with cheese, fresh green onions, and a spicy drizzle. Sweet, spicy, crispy, and 10/10 elite comfort food that is sooo addictive.

THIS is the Mr You you want to go to. Theres another one close by but we've been there eh. We came to this one the other day and the food is superb!! The noodles and rice are so damn tasty, I NEED MORE!!! Typically this Mr You has a line but they have a lot of workers grinding away so it goes fast enough. Only a few tables for eating inside with a couple outside. We tried the orange chicken fries and were not disappointed, bomb! Come down and get you some good ass noodles and fried rice

The food was okay. We will definitely try again. Guess it depends on who you get. Some peoples boxes were fully loaded. We got grumpy lady. The OC fries I think are overrated. Mostly fries. I should Of ordered a side of fries and orange chicken. On the two item menu beef and zucchini cut the meat up into bite sizes.too many onions and way too big. Ambiance fine small inside dining. But customer service needs to step up.

Mr. You's is quintessential fast Chinese cuisine at its finest. No frills just good ol fashioned oversized scoops and serving of some classics. Tender broccoli beef sauced up real nice. And when the orange chicken is fresh you get an insane crunch to them with that sweet (and optionally spicy version) citrussy bite. The star of the show was the viral orange chicken fries ( check my IG/tiktok @mattchu_eatchu for the review) Service is simple and straightforward. Pick a 1-3 combo playe or ask for the orange chicken fries. The fries take 10-15 mins depending on how busy they are so give em a break! Ambiance is filled with seating inside and outside along with all kinda of Mr. You's decor!

We were near this place and stone to kill so we de used to try this place. The selections of entrees are huge. Can order different entrees if it's not on the showcase. All the combination varieties are on the billboard. Choose from one to two to three entrees with rice and chowmein noodles. The portions are hugeeeeeee! We shared a combo B with two entrees. Added the shrimp for an additional $1. The orange chicken came with spicy or non spicy. The place is small only few tables inside and few outdoor seating tables. Food was good, the spicy orange chicken was so so. It doesn't have the same flavor as Panda Express but it was good. The salt and pepper shrimps were really good. The shrimp was quite big! Couldn't even finish it. They also have really good smoothies and boba tea with different flavors. Need to go back and try their famous orange chicken fries. Part of the local business ow et so go there and support them.

Orange chicken and spicy green beans with chicken and under all of that is chow mien and rice
    Demetrius G.

Seen all the hype about this place, so I had to try and see for myself. I ordered the orange chicken and spicy green bean with chicken along with steamed rice and chow mien. The food was fresh and delicious and the server really packed the food in the styrofoam container. Well worth the 12 dollars and change for the food!

Save parking for customers Mr you!

Love this place . Best place to come for lunch . Wish they had coconut shrimp. But it's all good . Thanks for always taking the time to give great service and food. Wish they would save this parking for costumers . Employees park their cars in front .

Combo B - Half Fried Rice & Chow Mein with Broccoli Beef and Teriyaki Chicken
    Angela N.

Generous portions! My container was PACKED with food that it could barely close. Easily could feed me about 3 times. The food is your average Chinese food. I did enjoy their chow mein and teriyaki chicken. Their broccoli beef was okay. The beef wasn't as tender as I'd like. Overall, I enjoyed it and you definitely get a bang for your buck.

Will they make me Almond Fried chicken? It is a NW American/Canadian Chinese classic with fried chicken pieces topped with a gravy and a sprinkle of almonds. I asked a Chinese friend and she said it's called War Su Gai.

I decided on Ginkgo for its proximity to the Claremont Colleges, and a close friend reassured me that it was an excellent choice. From beginning to end, Joy (the manager) was gracious in answering my questions and made helpful recommendations to allay the stress inherent in planning a large party. On the day of my event, Joy and her assistant, Ling, paid attention to little details and checked in with me regularly to ensure a memorable experience. My guests praised the food, attentive service, and the warm ambience. Overall, it was a lovely celebration, which my family and I will forever cherish. I went here at around Saturday and was able to get seating right away despite being busy. Their menu was very large so my girlfriend and I took some time to browse it. We were definitely hungry so we put in a large order. Pad Thai - One of the bases for our meal. We got it with chicken and thought it was really solid. A lime provided and really added to the flavor. Pad See Ew - Another solid base! It was packed full of flavor and was a good contrast with the pad thai. Thai Beef Jerky - This was our first time trying this dish in general. It did not disappoint at all! If you're looking for a savory bomb, this is recommended. The jerky itself was pretty crispy and came with a sauce that was good as well. Tom Kha Kai - This is our soup pick to make a well rounded meal. This was a nice addition to help balance the flavors of the other dishes. My girlfriend doesn't handle spicy well and this was something she could enjoy! Overall, we both were satisfied with the quality and quantity of everything. We certainly had a size-able amount of leftovers to bring back home. Everything was worth getting again, especially the Thai Beef Jerky. The service itself was quick and the staff got us everything we needed throughout the visit. Note that for the parking, be mindful of parking further away from the restaurant as it could be the other business' spots. No American Express is accepted here but VISA is.
