    Pork soup dumpling
    Alex F.

Was in the mood for some dumplings and didn't feel like driving to my usual spot so I decided to check this place out. First, the staff was friendly and welcoming. I placed my order to go and it was prepared very quickly. I want to say I was in and out in 15 so that was nice. Obviously the wait will depend on what is ordered. I ordered the pork soup dumplings, chicken karaage, and the custard buns. The chicken was nice and crispy. I think a little spice would have made it better. It was served with a dollop of mayo, which I think should have been in a sauce container instead of on top. The dumplings hit the spot...very classic pork dumpling flavor. The custard buns were adorable but kind of dry. Their menu has a lot of good options that I look forward to trying.

Drove 20 minutes because it looked good just to get here and find it closed. So unprofessional. Is the business closed down ?

I ordered the Beef Ramen, Pork Bun, and 6 Pork Dumplings. Everything was so good! I was glad I visited here. Was very inviting and great service! Visit 10 times and get a free Chashu Ramen! I will be back!!! Love this clean and simple place!

A Chinese-Korean café that feels family owned and operated. I learned that they had a bigger location in their previous history of operations, but they downsized after a while into this strip mall. The people here are friendly, and the food was really delicious and reasonably priced. Definitely a great spot and you're looking for some wonderful home style comfort food. Came here with two friends after peak lunchtime so the place wasn't super busy. We ordered some juicy pork dumplings to start and the OMG Combo Bowl - which included black bean noodle and jjam pong (spicy seafood noodle soup). We also got the Korean style sweet & sour pork because you kinda have to when you order the black bean noodles, right? Everything came out fresh, hot, and most importantly very tasty. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. This place is truly a neighborhood gem. Because it was located in a pretty large strip mall, parking was not an issue at all.

I love supporting small mom and pop places. Its located inside the plaza off Holt and Ramona Ave. Parking is fairly easy in front of the store and when you walk in you can either use the kiosk to order or you can sit down and the gentleman will bring you the menu. We don't have any decent korean chinese places anymore in IE that I like but this place hits the spot good. So far we had their dumplings, jjamppong, jjajangmyun, chili shirmp and sweet and sour pork. Anytime my husband and I crave jjajangmyun we go here and I even took my mom there and she loved their jjamppong. She said the broth was super rich and they gave good amount of food. Also I love that their noodles are super chewy and flavors are just original flavors that I am used to. It looked like they added sushi to their menu. They also have panda like chinese food as well. So far I only tried korean chinese dishes but I am definitely going back to try their bulgogi fries and other dishes.

I drove out 20 minutes to eat Korean/Chinese food but apparently they just changed owners. I was initially disappointed.... however, the new menu was definitely worthwhile. Everything was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor! I learned something from here.. Who knew peppers would enhance edamames!

Definitely get the Jjam Pong (Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup)

Quantity and quality of food was balanced. We ordered so much, it was satisfying for the craves, and it didn't break the bank. The service was excellent. The place is intimate and comfortable. We got the spicy Popcorn Chicken. Mapo Tofu (Granny's Hot Tofu) Tots. Spicy Pork. Combo Bowls half Black Bean Noodle and half spicy Jjam Pong (Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup). Plus two lemonades. We also ordered a Beef Bulgogi Kimbap and the total was under $60!

What a great little restaurant! It is totally a hidden gem that everyone should try. The service was exceptional and friendly. He was such a nice guy who answered our questions about the food. I loved the stacked cucumbers; the sauce was flavorful with a little hint of spice. I ordered the seafood noodle soup; it wasn't spicy at all and could have fed 2 people. My friends ordered the bento box and said it was good. I look forward to trying the other dishes.

This place changed from a Chinese-Korean restaurant to a Chinese-Japanese restaurant. When I walked in, it seems the Japanese aspect is more emphasized in the decor. There were 2 TVs, one for some reason playing Naruto reruns, and the other baseball (it was nice that the closed captioning was on for the game). The food is somewhere between a 3 and a 4. The tonkatsu ramen was pretty good, although I think there should be a 10-20% more portion per order. The chasu was very fatty and tender, being thinly cut, which was good. The vegetables were fresh and I could hear the kitchen cut them fresh for my order. I liked that the strawberry green tea had freshly chopped strawberries in the beverage making it a lot fresher tasting (less artificial). The service was spectacular. The lady running the place was very polite and warned me during my visit she was slightly slow that evening, but my visit was worth the wait. There aren't too many other ramen places, and this really hit the spot on a cold (checks calendar) evening in May (?!!!). The table next me me said the shrimp was also very good, so I probably will return to try non ramen dishes as well.

The food was good, big portions and reasonable price for the quantity. The place is pretty small but very clean. The service was excellent. I will surely come back to try other food. I would like to see less disposable utensils and bowls though. Disposable doesn't fit with the restaurant.

This place is amazing! The prices are so affordable and there's ample seating. The black bean noodles were delicious and we added a side of bulgogi (~$5-6) and a side of sweet and sour pork (~$4-5) which was plenty to share between my boyfriend and I. We also ordered the pan fried pork buns which were great as well. We'll definitely be coming back, the service is amazing and they're very kind. We hope to see them expand their menu! (Maybe some cold noodles?)

This place is a hidden gem. We got the black bean noodles, sweer sour pork, and black bean/ Jjamppong combo. The black bean noodles: great flavor, had good amount of minced pork, noodle texture was perfect and to can also add more protein if needed. I ordered a side of bulgogi. This was 5/5. The sweet sour pork was delicious. The batter was light and crispy and the pork was still tender. The sweet sour dipper sauce was also light but just the right amount of sweetness and flavor the compliement the pork. This was also 5/5. The black bean noodles and Jjamppong combo was huge. It can easily be enough for two people to share. Jjamppong was very flavorful with the seafood. Wish it was a little more spicy. This was also 5/5. Overall service was great. This restaurant is pretty small so not a good place for big groups. We had many black bean noodles and the sweet sour pork in Ktown and around LA. This place is definitely one of the top ones.

If you're looking for quality Korean Chinese food, especially black bean noodles and Korean style sweet and sour pork. Food 5/5 Black bean noodles: Noodles tasted fresh with the perfect amount of chew. The sauce, onions, and bits of meat keeps you slurping for more. One of the best comfort foods you could get. Korean style sweet and sour pork: if you're familiar with the Chinese style sweet and sour pork, this would bring you even more joy. The sauce is separate from the pork, not overtly sweet, but just right so you can dunk your extra crispy pork right into it. Comparing to other Korean/Chinese places, the sauce incorporates more vegetables and woodear mushrooms. Location: 5/5 quiet plaza with ample amount of parking. No complaints here. The restaurant is a bit small not meant for big groups. It is well kept, clean with simple wood decor. Service: 5/5 The nice gentlemen running the front shop was not only kind but very attentive. The food comes with complimentary kimchi and pickles as Korean places always do; he read my mind and refilled them before I had to ask. Honestly I was too excited to start eating that I forgot to take a before picture but there was no evidence left behind. There are plenty of things on the menu, dumplings, steam buns, specialty fries. I'm already planning to come back again soon.

I grew up eating Hong Kong style dim sum so I am very picky with my dim sum. We were greeted by a very friendly lady who sat us at a table. There are about 10 tables inside to sit and eat there. You can also order for pickup. The restroom and restaurant is kept very clean. You order by scanning the QR code. They do have a good selection to choose from. We got the usual items like shumai (pork dumplings), har gar (shrimp dumplings), pork spareribs, chicken sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaves, bbq pork buns, egg tarts, and I had to try the beef stew rice noodle soup. The server was very attentive to us while she took care of 4 other tables on her own. You do have to pay at store and not on the app when you're ready to checkout. The food came out fast and it tasted fresh. Portion size of the items are great. The bbq pork bun dough was a bit mushy to me. I like when the bun is fluffy and soft. The egg tart was perfect and not overcooked. The shumai and har gar was delicious and huge. The chicken sticky rice was very yummy . The spareribs were a bit fatty but had great flavor. The beef stew rice noodle soup was not my favorite. The beef stew was tender but it lacked flavor and the soup needed more flavor. Overall, we are happy we found a dim sum place that isn't too far from home and we don't have to drive down to OC or LA to eat. We will definitely come back if we have cravings for dim sum.

The noodles were definitely my favorite part of the meal--they had the best flavor. The fried rice was decent, but my husband and I weren't fans of the dumplings. The restaurant also didn't have any music playing, so it felt a little awkward hearing everyone's conversations while we were eating. The inside was pretty plain as well--not a cute or aesthetic spot if that's something you look for.
