We ate in at Lotus Garden and I was so impressed how clean it was. Our food was delicious and I have to mention our dirty milk tea. It was also very good. Our waitress was wonderful as well. We don't eat out as much as we used to, but we will definitely be back. Thank you Lous Garden!!!

We were looking for some Chinese food for Mother's Day. We first called Bamboo Garden. Someone answered the phone and said they were closed. Okay... time to formulate a plan B. The next call was to China Pepper. They said they were out of a few things and it would be about an hour to get a to-go order ready. Szechuan Garden in Montclair is always a good choice but no one felt like driving that far. I noticed Lotus Garden on Google Maps over in nearby Upland. I had passed by a few times and the name caught my eye because there used to be a Lotus Garden in San Bernardino. There's probably no connection however. Anyway... we placed a call to Lotus Garden and ordered Almond Chicken, Chicken in Black Bean Sauce, Beef with Snow Peas, and Chicken Fried Rice. We were told it would be ready in about 20 minutes. I headed out the door and arrived about 15-20 minutes later. Our order was waiting for me when I got there. I paid and was quickly on my way. I forgot to take a photo of the food in the containers but you can see a little of each on my plate here. It was really good. They did give us Shrimp Fried Rice instead of Chicken Friend Rice but no one seemed to mind. I think my favorite dish was the Chicken in Black Bean Sauce. I would definitely order that again.

We do miss this place. We lived in Rancho for 20 years and it was out to place. Visiting friends in area and had to come back. Updated to restaurant and the food is so fresh. Nothing dozen and fried here. You can taste its freshness.

The following was lunch specials were ordered: - egg drop soup, fried rice and broccoli beef - egg drop soup, fried rice, and curry chicken - hot and sour soup, brown rice, and sautéed veggies - wonton soup, steamed rice, and Mongolian beef * broccoli beef and curry chicken only pictured as the urge to eat outweighed the mandatory meal pics. *

The atmosphere was chill and comfortable, and it felt like a great place to bring the family. The food was delicious and tasted authentic. Everything came out piping hot and fresh from the steamer or oven. The shrimp was nice and crispy, the soups had a lot of flavor, and the vegetables were cooked really well--soft but still had a nice crunch. I also tried the lemongrass tea, and it was really delicious and went perfectly with the meal. Overall, great food, great service, and a relaxed atmosphere. I'd definitely come back!

However, I was very pleasantly surprised by the tastes of each item. Everything was delicious and tasted quite authentic. The best I must have to say is the lava custard bun that had a great balance of sweet with the salted egg yolk flavor. The restaurant was very busy and we were seated in a corner so it was a little harder for us to get their attention sometimes and our water didn't come until the middle of the meal but otherwise the staff was very friendly.

I ordered the candied pork belly bao bun and I can positively say there is nothing that even compares to the sweet and savory flavors of the pork belly, and the bao itself was so pillowy with a hint of sweetness. They have combos for the bao buns, so I ordered the side of garlic rice with the extra charge for the egg on top and it has slices of garlic clove IN THE RICE! they were pan fried with a slight crisp to them; I'm not a huge fan of garlic, but even I was pleasantly surprised when I tried them. My girlfriend ordered the spam and egg bowl and the spam had a pineapple teriyaki glaze on it, and that was also nothing short of phenomenal. As expected, the boba we got was very good, I got a chocolate milk tea and the missus got the green peach tea. For a hole-in-the-wall boba place, the food was absolutely f***ing INCREDIBLE. Not to mention the service was fantastic, the cashier was a nice young guy who was very patient and helpful. I was prepared to ask (and pay) for an extra sweet mayo and he said they don't even charge for the sauce. PLEASEEE do yourself a favor and come here if you want to be amazed with restaurant quality food and drinks for reasonable prices.

I usually don't like braised pork belly but its one of their most popular baos so I had to try that one. It reminds me of vietnamese thit kho, so very nostalgic. I do wish the meat was chopped up a bit because since it was 2 slices, a bite would grab more/less of the meat BUT not a huge issue. The candied pork belly tots were delicious! The crisp of the meat paired well with the crunchy but soft tots & the sauce was good too. The popcorn chicken rice bowl was good but I felt like it needed a little more flavor to it. Matcha latte was nice & smooth, on the milkier side. Lemonade was very refreshing. Great service, quite a few tables/chairs. Parking can get a bit crazy but with patience you'll be okay

The line was turning and twisting indoor and even went out the side door exit. You already know before ordering this place is legit and expected to have amazing food. They are the original home/founder of the Spicy Orange Chicken fries. The inspiration was from carne asada fries with a Chinese American food twist to it. They also have a secret menu item called the carry-out noodles, which consist of their chow mein with their spicy house sauce and orange chicken stir fried together. And of course, like any other Chinese American takeout/fast casual location they are known for their 1,2,or 3 item combo with the 3 item being only $13.59. That alone can feed a family of 3-4 people. I had the pleasure to meet the owner and his staff behind scenes and everyone was incredibly hospitable, efficient, and welcoming! There is a sense of closeness and comfort. I of course had to order their popular and viral dish (the Spicy Orange Chicken fries) and wanted to take on the carry-out noodles and see what it's all about! Spicy Orange Chicken Fries - 5/5 I couldn't believe how well this worked together. Stir fried in their extremely hot wok along with chili pepper, crinkle fries, orange chicken, topped with shredded cheese, special spicy house sauce, and green onions. Simple yet packed with flavors! The fries were crispy along with the orange chicken that was cooked separately in coated battered. Every bit is packed with flavor and crispiness. I could barely put much in my mouth because each ingredient holds its integrity on its shape. Carry Out Noodles - 5/5 Noodles are bouncy and chewy with a slight kick to it. The orange chicken held its integrity and wasn't soggy. The dish itself did not taste as though it was drenched in sauce, but was nicely coated on top. 3 Item Combo - 5/5 I got the chow mein&fried rice as the base. My three items were bbq pork char siu, beef broccoli, and steam vegetables. The char siu was perfectly cooked with the right amount of chewiness and although they poured the sauce on top, it was not drenched in the sauce. The beef brocc

We were looking for Mr. You Express and mistakenly found this... very disappointing! I ordered the "safe" option bowl of fried rice and orange chicken. The fried rice wasn't bad but had a different taste. Similar to uncle Ben microwave brand if they were to have a fried rice flavor. Don't get me wrong I do love the Ben's Jasmine microwave rice but the others not so much. This was added to the not so much list. The orange chicken had tough thick breading. The orange flavor wasn't bad but once you began the chicken it just tasted bland and very chewy. We also had the bbq chicken and teriyaki chicken with steamed rice. Needless to say we left hungry. Save yourself the time and money! I wish I would've thought to take pictures but didn't think about it as we left promptly with our Gatorade drink that was actually worth drinking.
