I constantly felt like Bruce was rushing me to the point when I was talking and gave little to no empathy about the situation. He didn't care that these were pieces from my mother. Im a person who gives lots of grace and i can excuse that but the little to no sympathy was bizarre. He did explain that he wouldn't want the diamond center stone because it is not in style currently. Fine, I can respect that. But then every time I started to talk he'd cut me off and rushed me to my point. He was more blunt then i'm used to at typical jewelers. He came off as plain rude. Never once did he give condolences for my loss or let me explain the moral conundrum of selling a family heirloom. I just felt rushed and dismissed. While I was in selling, I felt like he was just itching to get me out so he could serve people who would make him the big bucks. He saw me as a young lady and wrote me off since I wouldn't be spending thousands in his store that day. It's a shame because his cold demeanor and interruptions to rush my sentences made it so I will never recommend this place.

Not only do they have gorgeous pieces, but they also repaired my wedding band. A stone had fallen out. They replaced the stone, checked all of the supports for the rest of the stones and also did some magic to make it look brand new. The ring is 12 years old. The owner, Brien, and his son work there and gave me some beautiful history on their business. This family owned jewelry store was opened by Mr. Foster's mother back in 1959 - who was a single mother of 3 children. When you walk in, you'll also see family photos which reminds me how important it is to frequent and support locally owned (and unique) businesses like Foster & Sons that have top notch (and super friendly) customer service.
