It was almost undeniable that I was eating yesterday's, or even the day before that's leftover food. It was not fresh. I cook at home everyday, so when I do decide to treat myself to a break from cooking for the night, its really disappointing when I don't even wanna eat the food I spent $20-$30 on because its so bad. The spicy is pretty hot with lots of red chili peppers soaking in it, so I scooped out the chili peppers to keep rhe flavor but lessen the impact on my palate. For 2 guests, I recommend choosing 3 items from the list, maybe 2 protein and one veggie or 2 veggie and one protein to start. You can order more if you finish and need more. This is in addition to the two appetizers you will choose, which is included with rhe hot pot dinner. It's a great value! A lot of Chinese restaurants have switched to small or cheap food service egg rolls over the years so the best part of Chinese food has went down hill over the years. Ok enough walking down memory lane from years past and let's get to the egg rolls, is it the best around in the Milwaukee area, no but it's probably the best in the 5 mile square area. I finally asked the lady why are your egg rolls so good compared to other restaurants with small mediocre egg rolls and she explained that they make them in house where we make them fresh homemade. Overall egg rolls can make or break a Chinese restaurant which is my favorite part of Chinese food and I think there egg rolls moved them to the top spot in the area with flavorful mains.

Overall Review 8 of 10 This is the new sushi/hibachi/chinese/thai place that opened up just around the corner from our house a few weeks ago. The combination may sound weird, but their sushi was wonderful. The place is unexpectedly nice and welcoming too. What We Had 8 of 10 Sushi! Right around the corner! Maybe too convenient? Possibly. Especially with the fish as fresh, and the presentation so tempting. This is a great little spot with wonderful food, and attentive service. We had our standard offering of fish, miso, and edamame (which was fresh, never frozen, fyi). All to our contentment. Atmosphere 7 of 10 They cleaned up this old soup house very well. The decor is quite warm inside, in a oriental sort of way. Bamboo shoots and a water feature welcome you at the entry, and the sushi bar is clean and large enough for their over sized plates. The hibachi section is well ventilated too, so as not to spoil your fish. Others 8 of 10 Parking is no problem, with their own lot. The only thing this place lacks is adequate prices.
