Amazing food. Shout out to the crab rangoons! What really made my day, though, was the customer service. Absolutely impeccable. The employees were so nice and the awesome food on top of that made for a fantastic dinner. I will definitely be coming back again before leaving the area. Thank you Teriyaki House!!!!

Great Asian take-out in Oak Creek, with a friendly pick up experience! Sushi, Fried Rice, Chicken and Crab Rangoon's were all pretty good. Small seating area inside, so we'll probably stick to take-out, but I'm excited to try a few other items from their large menu next time!

Wow. Amazing appetizers, very fresh and crisp, the Hot and Sour soup is probably one of the best I've had.

    Three roll lunch special.

So nice to have this little place in the neighborhood. The owners and staff are so friendly. The food is good and reasonably priced.

Every bite is packed with flavor, and the ingredients are always incredibly fresh. The sushi is beautifully prepared every single time, the fish is fresh, and the presentation is always impressive. The service is warm and attentive, and the atmosphere is comfortable whether you're grabbing a casual dinner or celebrating something special. I've had sushi at a lot of places around Milwaukee, but Hungry Sumo continues to be my favorite. If you're visiting for the first time, do yourself a favor and order the Black Tokyo Roll. When we asked him to check the manufacturer label for dairy/egg, he said he "maybe could do that". That was a weird start. Our first round of orders were really disappointing. Our tempera and crab rangoons were soaked in oil and the oil tasted like it was old. We had to soak up the oil from the plate because you could see it dripping from the rangoon. The shrimp tempera was heavily breaded and super oily as well. I understand fried food is going to have a certain level of oil, but this didn't seem appetizing at all. Our Nigiri pieces came out and our fish was warm. Honestly, we mentioned something to our waiter and the response was that the rice was recently made so it was warm. That made us a bit skeptical. Overall our experience was not the best. The sushi was uneventful and didn't taste fresh. I was pretty disappointed and I rarely write a negative review. Jin's - honestly I hope you do better moving forward. This was a bummer.

The greeting from the hostess was warm and friendly; she is an asset and really makes you feel welcome. Once we were seated and finally finished our struggle with what to order, we got our drinks. I had to go with the One Night in Bangkok again because it's just a really nuanced and complex mix of tangy, spicy and a hint of sweet. The smoke show also is impressive. My cousin tried the Berry-cation from the summer menu and it was perfect for her - very fresh and a little sweeter. Cousin-in-law got the Thai Goddess, with tomato, and it was very interesting - not quite fruity and not overly vegetal - very cool. Our food was amazing. The first several minutes were just a series of different people saying "Oh my God" as we tried different things. There was no weak dish. We enjoyed a good mix of seafood and meat dishes, that included Golden Fungi, Phuket Jor Pu, Namya Pu, Kurobuta Pork in Panang Curry Sauce, Hung Lay Short Ribs, the Samurai Signature Set, Kinnic Crisp Shell, Nam Prik Aon, Waygu A Rockfire, Mango Sticky Rice and a complementary birthday Yuzu Cheesecake. The food was wonderful, I loved the summer cocktail, and the crab rangoon was the best I've had in quite some time. The golden fungi was pleasantly spicy and so crispy, my friend who doesn't like mushrooms enjoyed it. I loved the chashu bao buns, the pork was so tender and the softness of the bao buns was very nice. Definitely have to stop by and give them a try, I know I'd like to again.

After reading how busy they are, we made reservations but found them to not be too busy upon our arrival though it filled up quickly as we sat there. We were greeted and quickly sat down at our table. The decor in Sushi Yushi was decorated for Valentine's Day & was adorable. Our server was perfect- from beginning to end, he was friendly, helpful and efficient, offering his help if we needed any guidance with the menu. We chose the spicy edamame, chicken gyoza, shrimp tempura, green mountain roll and the spicy tuna roll. The spicy edamame was a great alternative to our usual edamame, with great flavor and just the right amount of spice. The chicken gyoza was also delicious. I was very pleasantly surprised with the strong garlic and lemon flavors from the green mountain roll- never have I had such a flavorful sushi roll! I appreciated the smaller bites here but I felt all the rolls had a bit more rice than my favorite sushi place. A lovely surprise I appreciated & didn't expect was the small salad that was served between our appetizer and sushi - so tasty and perfectly balanced out our meal! Overall, it was a great experience and fun to try a new sushi place in the area. I wish there were more options without cream cheese, mayo or nori but if those are what you like in your sushi, then there are tons of options for you!

Our server got a sake order wrong and it took 3 awkward confrontational conversations to resolve where my friend was accused of lying. I was given the check half way through my meal while I was eating. I was pressured into putting a food order in with my initial cocktail order. Our only appetizer was served after our rolls. I was not asked to order a second drink. I was offered an insulting comp for the servers mistakes. The food is ok but not good. And it's served by someone who has zero idea how to serve food. I will likely never return you can get this food elsewhere and better. They don't even sell sauce, what were they going to offer me?

Our server took a while to stop by for our drink orders and longer for our lunch order. It then took at least 10-15 minutes after soup/salad for our entrees to come out. I get it if the kitchen is busy but I watched my sushi platter sit on the bar for a while before our server came back to deliver it. He also didn't stop by much - hard to find to grab our bill. That took another 15 minutes. Frustrating as we saw other tables get helped promptly by many of the other servers. While this is a normally good, quick lunch spot, we didn't leave until maybe an hour and a half later. The food was okay but not worth the poor service. I did hear that the chicken hibachi was good but would've been better with yum yum and ginger sauce like what's available at other restaurants. Maybe just a one off but we won't return soon.
