I bought an item online, showed up not as described on their website. Brought the email "receipt" sent for the purchase. I was told this it not a "receipt. You have to call customer service. Look up on their website the number they tell you to call for returning an online purchase.... Convenient! Stocked with items you need and offers a variety of everything. They have all the brands and products. There's also a coupon machine for you to check out any deals that are linked to your ExtraCare account. The receipt that you use also always has good deals for your next purchase. Checkout is easy, though, because there's a cashier and 2 self-checkout machines. The pharmacy is lacking, however, because it always take forever and there's always a line. There's also a lot of CVS pharmacies in the area so it's easy to get your medication mixed up and sent to the wrong one. Decent location for a quick errand run. read more

This place cannot get a prescription right to save its life. My entire family has a problem every single time. Management is clueless about what is really happening and/or is overwhelmed. It's hard to tell. They tell you they will text, no text. They promise a phone call, no call. You're waiting to get notified and nothing happens. If you buy makeup here CHECK the seal before using it. I bought 2 lip products and one eyebrow product from different brands. I got home and all the seals were broken and makeup looked used either: A. nasty customers that put it on their face and back on the shelf. Regardless the employees should be damaging out stuff with broken seals as it is a health risk B. Someone is returning it with the seal broken and the employees are too lazy to check so they just throw it back on the shelf read more

I have never been so dissatisfied with a CVS location. Ever. But this one. Grrr! First of all, No bathrooms. No cell signal inside. Their inventory of common items were so limited that I could not get what I came for - and this, their mark up is so high it's ridiculous. For example they are selling a common brand toothpaste for $3.49 each! My husband went to Stater Bros next door and got 2 for $2.99 double pack. It's truly shocking how bad this pharmacy really can be. Most CVS pharmacies have gone down hill with the rather difficult method of contacting an actual human. But this one is really bad. They mess up scripts and give you excuses when your prescription is having issues as they blame the doctors office or the insurance company. I was having a problem with getting a photo card printed (the machine was broken) and I couldn't get any answers from the "help" line from CVS. A manager named Chris stepped in and took charge of my project and he went above and beyond what any employee is expected to do for a customer. I am so amazed that he really went the extra mile (no exaggeration) to take care of getting my card printed at another location and hand delivering it to my local CVS. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING PHOTO WISE FROM THIS CVS. HURIEL WAS THE "manager" WHO WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND STATED THAT I HAD STOLEN MERCHANDISE AFTER COMING BACK TWICE FOR MY LARGE PRINTS THAT WERE PRINTED WRONG!!!! I had to go in twice because they were printed incorrectly. I selected glossy and they kept printing them matte. I asked for a refund and HURIEL was so rude and said that the photos I paid for needed to be returned because they are stolen merchandise. INSTEAD of explaining to me NICELY that if I bring the photos back I can get a refund. THEN she continued to be rude and said they couldn't find the card I used and she left the counter so figure out when I bought my photos. Then took the photos I brought back and refunded me. I DO NOT appreciate the way I was spoken to by HURIEL. She was extremely rude and disrespectful. This CVS lost a customer and I hope no one gets treated the way I did. This is the worst pharmacy that I have ever been too. I am always trying to get my prescriptions delivered and they never get it correct. I had two items placed from the Dr on Wednesday and today is Friday and they still are unable to do deliver the medication. For the last two days, I have contacted the pharmacy asked for delivery they say they will deliver and then it never gets here. I have been charged for the medication and no product. When I call first they tell me one story that my insurance will not let them deliver then they say that they tried to deliver but I was not home. So they took the medicine back to the store. I have not been anywhere for the last two days. I was notified last week about a medication refill and now they say they do not have it available so it is pending. How long does this stuff have to go on. The only reason I go to CVS is because my insurance requires it. I have paid for delivery fee, but I do not get the service. I would not complain, but this is the second or third time I have had this problem with them. If you have to go to a CVS store DO NOT GO TO THIS ONE. read more

Just left the store to drop off a UPS package, I needed help taping the label onto my box so I asked the tall, skinny, white man to help me and he offered to get me some tape. While i waited another employee asked if he had helped me yet and I told her yes he just went to get tape to help me put the label on the box. Then I asked if she could open the box a bit so I could put another piece of shipping information that was needed (I didnt know this prior) . She proceeded to help me and then when the other employee came back she told me that they do not tape boxes and that I need to come prepared. I did not have him tape my box.. just the label. Her comment was uncalled for and rude. As for the other employee he was very helpful and patient! Got me out of there so quickly. read more

They have the SLOWEST drive through line on the planet! Every time I come here I have to wait at least 2@ min before I'm even at the window. And then when I get there, it's another long wait. Additionally, they have constantly miscommunicated about my meds being ready to be picked up. I'll get a electronic notification that they are ready, and then when I get there, they aren't. I'm a huge fan of cvs . This location is a no for me . I've came her multiple times and the manager is always the one to ring me up. She never greets you when you walk in and every time I use coupons it's an inconvenience for her. I had to come her to get my receipt because earlier a different location didn't give me my receipt the other location was 45 minutes away and this one is right by my house. I told her I have my ID to return my stuff and rebuy it so I can get a receipt. I needed a receipt to get compensated from work. She was very hesistant to return my things and I explained that the cvs employee never gave me a receipt . She said next time she wouldn't return anything without a receipt that I need to go to that location. Her tone was very belittling and really upset me . She continued to interrogate me . I told her if I stole the items why would I rebuy them and second she has my id with all my information on it so they know where I live if they have any questions ? My family also has issues here on Saturdays in the morning they had sale tags up . When they've checked out the items on "sale" we're full price. The employees told them the sale doesn't start till Sunday so it's false advertisement. I'm also a manager and I've been in customer service for 15 years. CVS 29171 Newprt Rd, Menifee, CA. Had a problem with redeeming a 40% off coupon on l item. Clerk told me it was on sale so couldn't use coupon. I told her it wasn't marked on sale. She said she had to go with what the computer said. Talked to Manager who said the same thing and could not over-ride. How is customer supposed to know. At check-out, they only have l person, who is always helping a customer at self-check-out. Wrote to customer service and asked to be contacted. No response. I will start shopping at Rite Aid across the street where I'm treated like a valued customer. Don't go here if you're trying to fill a prescription!!!! I have insurance, which won't cover one of my prescriptions so I decided to pay out of pocket. My Dr. has filled 2 of my prescription and sent them to this CVS (at my request, NEVER again). They filled the 1st one but gave me a lot of grief because I was paying out of pocket. I had my Dr. send my refill there (BIG mistake). Yesterday I was told my 30 day supply would be ready in 1 hour, I didn't pick it up. I called today to make sure it was ready. The pharmacist told me that they will only give me a 7 day supply, and if I pick up the 7 day supply that will forfeit my 30 day supply. She said the pharmacy manager changed their procedure on paying out of pocket and they can only give a 7 day supply. I asked the pharmacist when that change took place and she said about 1 week ago. First of all, it's ridiculous that a pharmacy manager should have this kind of control of my medication. Secondly, I was told the day before that my full 30 day supply would be ready in 1 hour. I am beyond frustrated with all the BS this pharmacy has given me. I will never have a prescription filled here again. I'M WARNING EVERYBODY NOT TO GO HERE TO GET YOUR MEDICATION!! read more

Thank goodness for Victoria and Priscilla who work in the pharmacy department. Today has been a rough day dealing with my insurance and trying to get my medicine after being diagnosed with a upper respiratory infection. Thankfully Victoria and Priscilla were AMAZING!! They helped me through every challenge that my insurance put me through. They were never rude or short with me. The whole process to finally get my medicine took over 3 hours. These ladies were the angels for my day!! However, Minh (the pharmacist) was so rude to me. I would have gave them a 5 star review because of Victoria and Priscilla but the pharmacist was a jerk. He did not want to be bothered and really felt annoyed if I asked him a question. He was trying to rush me like I was a bother to him. I had dealt with Victoria and Priscilla mostly all day but only dealt with with Minh for less than 5 minutes. You would have thought it was the other way around the way he was so rude and disrespectful towards me. I hope I never have to deal with him again. However, I would recommend dealing with Victoria and Priscilla any time! read more
