If you think of Chicago pizza, Lou's bar none is the go-to place. Not only is their butter crust one of the best but their beer sausage is so tasty and juicy! They are known for their deep dish by their thin crust is rather delicious as well. It's topped with premium mozzarella cheese and the bread holds up well and crisp. One of the gems at Lou's is the Lou's salad. The mixture of the Lou's special dressing, bacon bits, Gorgonzola cheese, black olives and tomatoes, this is a must have during every order. This location is purely a carry out restaurant. The staff there is really nice and personable. They handle a good amount of traffic since it's a carry out facility. The service is consistent and always great!

Found this Lou Malnati's in the area and wanted to do a pickup order because no trip to the Windy City is complete without some deep dish. I used the website to order ahead and there were 2 options: sooner or later. Very easy to navigate the website and you pay ahead to place the order. My sis and I got the cheese deep dish for 2 which was the best portion, with tax only paid like $17! We didn't add any extra toppings so it roughly took only 30 mins. Quick checkout and the place was hopping! The pizza itself was a dream - loved every bite and well baked.

To go only. The "Lou" Pizza

Pizza was absolutely delicious. The Lou was HOT HOT HOT out the oven. We ate it in the parking lot cause we didn't want to Uber back to the hotel room (and we didn't read the reviews to see that it was take out only) The cheese was plentiful. The meats were good. Nice and crispy dough to hold it all in. Service was good. The lobby area has all these fridges with drinks and salads. Very clean. Overall. Would recommend.

There are no 2 ways to say this, but I frikking love Chicago Style deep dish pizza! It was a to go setting style of a restaurant. I called in my order, stopped by here 40 minutes later, paid and took back to our hotel room one delicious, mouth watering, hot off the oven, absolutely huge, deep dish pizza to devour upon! Total was $22.77 for a small Italian Beef, Green Peppers and Onion deep dish pizza. Not bad considering it was good enough for 3 proper meals for me the next couple of days.

The pizzas are always delicious and I got easy on the tomato sauce which doesn't make the pizza too salty! The curbside pick up was a little slow but all in all, everything was just fine!

Great phone order experience and pick up totally exceeded my expectations it was fast and efficient even though I was waiting with 5 other customers for pick up. Pizza was really good we order large thin crust sausage, but my favorite were the wingless chicken wings and I enjoyed them very much. You have to try the wings with the Lou homemade buffalo sauce it's really good for dipping and ties everything together. I was already a big fan of Lou pizzas and now their chicken wings!

The classic is the lower pizza and the Lou is the one on the top.

This was our first time having true Chicago pizza and being from NY I was definitely skeptical. We ordered the Classic and the Lou's and I must say although very different from NY Pizza, they were tasty. In the future I would order them with a little less cheese as they is a ton but other then that I wouldn't change a thing. Our server Jenna M was awesome she even went the extra step when she realized we were staying in a hotel to package up our leftovers in small containers that would fit in a mini fridge. The atmosphere was a normal restaurant nothing special or unique just good food. Just be careful if you are looking Lou up online many of their locations are take out only so if your looking for a full sit experience be sure you are going to one of their restaurant locations.

A haiku for Lou's: Craveable always! Cheesy, crispy perfection Deep dish or thin wins! My #1! The deep dish sausage might just take the coveted spot of my choice for last meal on earth.

Very friendly, on point service. Food was fresh, hot and prepared exactly on time for carry out. Our go-tos are always: The Lou, Malnati Chicago Classic, and of course, a Malnati salad. Excellent location! Definitely a staple especially when we have out of town guests.

Now uses DoorDash for delivery, the website does not disclose this. Not a good experience like it used to be.

Best pizza in Glenview. Favorite pizza is "the Lou" but can't go wrong with any of them. Salads are surprisingly good too!

Pequod's Pizza is in my home town of Morton Grove, and I hadn't been there in over 50 years! I…read moreremembered the pizza as being exceptional, and had been talking about going back forever. It was a long standing joke between my husband and myself...could this pizza possibly live up to my expectations? And the answer is.... Yup! It is as good as I remembered it to be. The carmelized pan crust looks burnt (they even warn you on the menu that it's supposed to be black), but it's the best part of the pizza. The pizza/tomato sauce was extremely flavorful (not just plain tomatoes like Lou Malnatis or Rosatis). The sausage was delicious, and the onions were sweet. There was a ton of sausage, and lots of onions on the pizza--very generous portions. The mozzarella cheese appetizer was served very hot, and was pretty good. Basically...your typical frozen moz sticks. Nothing to write home about, but nothing to complain about either. Service was very good. The only negative I can point out is there was an overwhelming mildewy smell when you approach and enter the restaurant. It was very off putting. Overall, this is the best pan pizza I've ever eaten, and as such, I highly recommend Pequod's.

Getting there wasn't the best start. Parking was a challenge, and since there were no available…read morespaces nearby, I had to park about a block away. It was a little frustrating, but I figured the walk would be good exercise before a big meal. The restaurant itself is small and has an older, cozy feel. The dining area is quite compact, so I wouldn't recommend it for large groups or parties. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. We only saw our server three times: to take our order, deliver our food, and bring the check. In between, he was nowhere to be found. The lack of attentiveness and hospitality was disappointing. Thankfully, the deep dish pizza completely turned things around. The crust was crispy with a nice char, giving it excellent flavor and texture. The gooey cheese was evenly distributed throughout the pizza, and I appreciated that the sausage came in generous chunks instead of small crumbles. The tomato sauce was well balanced, neither too sweet nor too acidic which tied everything together beautifully. Despite the disappointing service, the pizza alone is worth coming back for. Next time, though, I'll probably order takeout. With service like this, leaving a tip didn't feel well deserved.

Place you order at the counter and they bring it out to you, but utensils and water are at the counter. It's a little mix of self-serve but also they serve you. But it worked. Some of our items took longer to come out than others (they forgot about one of the dishes), so I might not come in a time crunch, but the food was all delicious. You can definitely tell it was made with care. And although we didn't get dessert they have plenty of paletas and ice cream options! The place is clean and neat, decor is super bright and cute. There's a decent sized parking lot they share with the rest of the plaza, but it tends to fill up quickly. Not sure why but the lot was pretty busy on a random Wednesday.
