Our favorite breakfast place for weekend. Food tasts great, quantity is soo much that we r not able to finish whatever we ordered.

Walnut french toast was nothing special...over priced in my opinion. My friend got the Thanksgiving dinner....enough for two or more people. It was just like home! I tried a special, buffalo chicken omelets. Wholly goodness. The chicken were tons of large grilled strips covered with hot sauce. The crumbled blue cheese was essentially melted onto the chicken because it was streaming hot. The omelet was not ever necessary because the chicken was a meal in itself but way yummy. I usually am a huge fan of the homefries here buy update they were overcooked and had no spices. Too bland and mushy for my taste. Made me sad because I usually look forward to them. The raisin bread is always my favorite. Always fresh and thick slices. Service was good and timely. read more

Came here with some friends. I have to say that Worcester has some awesome diners, but Lou Roc's is the best I've been to. Relatively reasonable prices and their cheese and bacon home fries were amazing! The corned beef hash was delicious, and the french toast was to die for! Even after growing up and living in Worcester for 21 years, I am still finding new awesome breakfast diners there when I return home. I was in the city this past weekend for a beer festival so naturally I was looking for a good breakfast to help get me going again the next morning. My friend recommended Lou Roc's and they didn't disappoint. We arrived at around 9 or 10 on Sunday morning and expected to find the place packed. To our surprise the place was full but there was no line. We had to wait a little bit for a booth because we were a group of 4, but it wasn't more than 5-10 minutes. Once we sat down the service was quick and friendly. I ordered the Monty Carlo and home fries, both of which were excellent. The prices were decent but not the best I've seen in the Worcester diners. The food, atmosphere, and service were all great, so I'd be happy to return here the next time I'm in the area. read more

We love diners, and this one came with decent food, a big menu that gets creative and a very nice waitress. Overall I'd recommend them for an above average diner although, I'm pretty sure our waitress overcharged us by about ten dollars. read more

Holy home fries! This place is absolutely amazing. I ordered the meat combo omelet which was delicious and big enough for 2-3 people. The home fries were to die for. I also ordered a blueberry muffin, also giant and the best I've ever had. My husband had the homemade hash and declared it the greatest hash of his life. Cash only, long waits... But worth it. The lunch specials during the week are a great place to start. Roast Beef or Meatloaf are large portions and hearty. The breakfast is also good (pancakes, crepes, omelettes, waffles, corned beef hash, all amazing) but on weekends the place is impossible. Lou Roc's is extremely friendly with fantastic (if albeit unhealthy) diner food available. The only negative here is that there is a serious backup of customers (and that is actually a good thing) to the point where as much as I would like to go there on Saturday mornings, I don't even try anymore, so I rarely go there anymore. It's either this diner or the Boulevard that is my favorite Worcester-area diner. read more

Best diner in the area. Corned beef hash is fabulous, omelette Blackstone is great (spinach, bacon, tomatoes, cheese, and hollandaise- how bad could that be?), and decent home fries. Try the raisin toast, too. Efficient and friendly waitstaff, with the level of cheeriness varying with how frantic they are. Lunches decent too- a patty melt was a little too greasy (even for a patty melt!), but the meat loaf special (on Tuesdays) tastes like mom's. Big portions of shepherd's pie and the like will keep you filled all day. I've never left here disappointed, and you won't either. read more

The reason I gave it four is sometimes the waitress's aren't that attentive. But you won't get bigger portions for breakfast or lunch anywhere that I know ove. read more

We come here at least twice a month and never have a bad thing to say about it! From their omelettes to pancakes and beyond, we have been impressed with Lou Roc's since day one. Their Blackstone and Philly Cheesesteak omelettes are to die for and you can't go wrong with their pancake or french toast specials. There is always something to be impressed about here! There is no hostess, so just wait in line behind the next guy and you'll get a seat when one opens up. Nothing more you can ask for when a place has great food and great prices. There's always a wait for breakfast but it's well worth it when the food comes to your table. I always get the meat lovers breakfast quesadilla when I go. But I've dabbled in other menu items and everything is always great. Waitresses are always friendly and service is always good despite it being so busy at times. read more

Our waitress was nice. Food was typical and greasy. Ambiance was lacking. With so many other diners in Worcester I won't be returning.
