Very plain bland and the chicken was dry. Asian salads typically have cabbage both red & green, carrots, and other vegetables. I expected more from a $14 salad. Service was slow, there were 4 tables being occupied and the server even passed us off to another server. We found this local spot, of course, on Yelp! It was a big hit with our family and the baseball team. They accommodated us quickly and had 4 servers taking orders. A variety from pizza, fish tacos, salads, wings, and burgers were ordered and everyone was raving how tasty the food was. I had a chicken salad-chicken; seasoned and the house dressing was good. They were quick to serve, even as a large party. It was so good, we came back after the game! I ordered the shrimp tacos and they were delicious. Street tacos were decent. The bourbon bowl has NO SAUCE. I think this is just the way they make it, because we had it delivered before, and it was just a dry bowl of meat, rice, and brocolli. We thought it was a mistake at that time, but they delivered it that way again. What makes it BOURBON--since it's not a bourbon sauce. I mean it is a common meal you can get at many mall vendors. We've been coming to Louie's since they opened their first location when everything was all about being under $10 on the menu. It was a great place to grab a bite during a game or for a relatively inexpensive date night that still felt special. It has continued to grow and change a bit since then, but it's still always on casual "where do you want to go for dinner," list. Not all Louie's locations are created equal as we've learned over the years, but consistency has been key to their success from my perspective and no location exudes that as well as this one. Out of at least two or three dozen trips over the years we've had maybe 2-3 issues and they were staff related. Overall, this location is the best one if you can get over the parking situation on busy night. Our most recent trip was the first since Covid hit and a few things have changed like their menu, but good service and decent food have not. We went on a Friday night and quite literally got the last available table. Our waiter was great and despite being packed and having a line of eagerly waiting hungry people out the door, we had not a single issue. Our drinks and appetizer were great and made well, not rushed or slipped together in haste. Our entree's were the same and our waiter came by often which was nice since again, they were so slammed. To top it off, the evening manager even came by once just to check on us. I do really recommend giving Louie's a shot if you've never been, or haven't been recently. They are a little more difficult to describe than they used to be, but it's all about what you want to make of it. If you want a quick $20 lunch for two, or a relaxed $60 dinner for two, Louie's has you covered. read more

I used to love Louie's but the food quality has really gone downhill and not on par with rest of the Hal Smith restaurants I love and associate with really good food quality. $14 for a bowl consisting of a huge heap of what seemed like Uncle Ben's minute rice, and 6 chewy non blacked shrimp. The burgers reminded me of a high school cafeteria burger - fairly sure it was a frozen patty, the bun wasn't warm and not buttered at all. I've been to Louie's a few times in Edmond and they deliver a tasty meal. Atmosphere is sporty. You'll find memorabilia on the walls, tvs, and dimmed lighting giving off a bar/pub feel. Good place to catch a game and has never been too packed out. You can dine-in or call-in and pick up to the right upon entering. If you're looking for healthy...this isn't the place. Every time we've been was during lunch hour and we were able to get lunch done within the hour even if it was slightly busy. They let you eat in peace without hounding you to leave or continuous ask if everything is ok. Drinks were always promptly refilled. Parking lot is kinda packed and hectic at times since the shopping center is really busy off 15th but the food is amazing. I usually start with the fried pickles which my coworker got me hooked on when we would stand in line at Frontier City during FrightFest. They are nothing but pickles with a slightly spiced batter on them but they are perfect finger food and soooo good. Then I'll have the nachos or a pizza of course not on the same day. The pizza is just perfect and cheesy and when I order the veggie pizza, they really load it up with veggies. It's made to order as well so it's fresh and steaming hot every time. Like I said it's a great place to go as a group and on a lunch hour because I think they know people are trying to get in and get out. The servers are all nice too. I always leave full to the brim whereas I have to take some home with me and who doesn't like leftovers especially when they are from Louie's? I really love Louies because their food is soooo darn good. And it's not just appetizers and fast finger food as they have larger entrees as well, so don't let the look fool you. It does have your typical sports bar look and feel though and sports TV everywhere, so if you're not into sports bars you should still go because their food is hecka good though. read more

We were so very disappointed in the food this time. I ordered the drunken steak salad. No blue cheese crumbles or tomatoes. I asked for fried jalapeños to be added to the salad, they complied with 1. My husband ordered chicken strips, and he ended up taking off most of the breading. He said the breading was very heavy. We sincerely believe the quality of Louis has deteriorated. I love Louie's! Especially the Edmond location. It's very consistent, with great management and service. Lexi is my favorite bartender/server! Go see her! Louie's has great food, an extensive food and bar menu, and a very comfortable sports bar vibe. It's also great for kids and families. They also have great specials from time to time, last night it was $4 mango and watermelon margaritas for National Margarita Day! So that was awesome. The food is what I really love though. They've redone their menu a lot in recent years, and it's currently the best that it's ever been. They still have their great burgers and shoestring fries, but what I've been loving are their wings, wraps and that amazing cheese curds/cheese balls appetizer with the spicy ghost pepper marinara sauce. Louie's is a great Edmond establishment. Easy American food, lots of options, casual atmosphere, and a menus sporting a wide variety. Prices have gone up recently but still a great mid-price casual family restaurant. It's a sports bar/grill sett my so kind of on the loud side with lots of televisions, so soft expect an intimate quiet setting. For starters our favorite appetizer is the fried green beans! Best way to have your daily dose of veggies. They great burgers. Any of the 14 burger options are good, but the Louie's Shroom & Swiss is my personal favorite. read more

I love this place. Almost every Sunday when I am in town I go here with my family. We love Hal Smith Restaurants! Our favorite thing to get is the queso. It is always hot and delicious. They will bring you more chips and salsa if you ask, which is great! The chicken tender wrap is my favorite thing to order for a meal. By far the best wrap on the menu and I have even recreated one at home because I love it that much. Went there today and they were packed! By noon on a Sunday sometimes it's busy and sometimes it's not so I'm glad we were able to get a table. Our waitress was great today despite the busyness. I am a huge fan of Louie's chicken Nachos. You should be lucky to have a good Nachos in this place (Edmond). Sometimes it is excellent, sometimes terrible. Last time, they served a cold and not fresh chicken Nachos for us. I told the waitress about this problem; the manager (a young man) came to our table and even did not apologize. Well, not this time. The pineapple was straight out of a can - not even put on the grill to make it look fresh. The sauce on it literally is the same sauce Taco Bell uses on their chicken quesadillas. Literally the same. So that's all I could taste. If any of you have ever had Taco Bell's chicken quesadillas, you know what sauce I'm talking about. You also know how weird it would be in conjunction with pineapple. It was nasty. Too lazy to cook syndrome struck again. So we stopped in at the Edmond location of Louie's for something to eat. I'd never been to Louie's, but the Yelp reviews seemed pretty decent so we thought we'd check it out. Pretty nice place overall, very open and not too noisy even with the place pretty full. We grabbed a booth and our server was with us in no time. The eats here are pretty reasonably priced. I ordered a chopped sirloin with steamed vegetables and masted potatoes, and my gf had the blackened tilapia. Both orders arrived pretty quickly. For ten bucks, this was pretty darned good, and the portion sizes were just right. With two teas, total bill came to around $25 which is pretty good for a decent dinner in these parts. Service was very efficient and friendly. If I were still a drinking man, I'd definitely consider this as an option for a standby watering hole; not sleazy or divey enough for first-tier but that's just me. read more
