This place is awesome. Huge portions. Everything was super tasty. Staff was great - accommodated the child and made us a fresh pot of decaf. We had the tamales and the Golden Benedict. On the weekends, they do pozole, which I really need to figure out how to take home for the evening. Green chili was good too. The location is a little weird as when you drive in, it doesn't feel like you are in a place where a restaurant might be (but you are, so go in). Super simple look and feel inside. Can't wait to come back, but bring an appetite.

Louis' is the Best! Every time I come for breakfast, I know what to expect...Great Food and service with a smile! Of course, I'm always torn on what to get, because EVERYTHING is so good!....and without gouging your wallet...Whether it be this location or the Littleton location, the Louis' breakfast experience can't be beat!....I'm upgrading my previous 4 star rating to the coveted 5 star rating for their consistently great food and service!

Amazing food and service. Really busy and we had to wait a few minutes to be seated but the wait was worth it. Background music wasn't loud. Very clean place. We had the Louis skillet and chicken fried steak. Will definitely be back again for breakfast.

Good food, the service was really, really bad. We waited for a very long time to be asked what drinks we would like, and even longer to place our order. I asked for Tabasco twice and was ignored. It took forever to get our check as well. They were busy, yes, but did not seem short staffed. They also did not want to give a group of 6 a large open table for a reason that made no sense to them or us. The biscuits and gravy combo was good, and my son enjoyed the meat and eggs. The price was not terrible. I certainly hope they were just having a bad day as the service was very bad. The food was good.

Third time here for breakfast in the past couple of month's. Drove down from Evergreen and the drive is well worth it. The food is delicious and very moderately priced. The service is fast and friendly and our meal was on the table very quickly even though they were fairly busy. My friend had the Eggs Benedict and said they were the best ever. I again had the Louis' skillet breakfast with green chili and it was excellent. We will be back soon. read more

Yummy! Hubby had an appointment at the VA and we decided to stop for a bite. Their green chili sauce was very tasty! First visit and so impressed with menu choices and breakfast! I ordered a Gyro omelette with homemade Tzaziki sauce, served with fried potatoes. My husband enjoyed a meat omelette with country gravy. The breakfast and lunch menu is extensive with many Mexican items. Prices are very reasonable. We will definitely be back! read more

The servers were very nice however I had a terrible experience. My table was literally forgotten about over 20 minutes until some came to give me menus. Then they constantly forgot coffee. When I finally placed my order about another 15 minutes passed and the waitress came back and said my order did not go through and re took it. Once the food came out it was well below average. I will never go back. read more

Just passing through Golden and found this breakfast place on Yelp. It is located in an office building so I was happily surprised with quality of food. The kids and I ordered the half breakfast waffles and half French toast which included 2 eggs and 4 pieces of bacon! It was huge and delicious! Good coffee,excellent service, and super clean restrooms :)! read more

Found this place on Yelp and went kinda out of our way from the hotel we stayed at, but so totally worth it!!! The entry right away was warm and inviting, the wait staff was prompt and energetic. The FOOD WAS OUTTA THIS WORLD BOMB. !!! I HAD THE CHILE RELLANOS BREAKFAST and hubby had the chicken fried steak skillet. Both delicious, we agreed that their breakfast potatoes were probably the best we had ever had. Definitely recommend. read more

Hate to give away secret spots - but this place is great! Breakfast spots with good food aren't abundant in Applewood, so this spot over by the Jeffco center is close.... food was fantastic, service was great. Plenty of room and priced great for breakfast. They have an early bird and to go menu as well. Hit this place up if you just want a solid breakfast. read more

Found this place by accident and was so glad I did. I had the breakfast skillet. It was smothered in green chile and came with pancakes..it was really good and priced right. The staff is very friendly and the place is clean and cozy. The server told us they have menudo on the weekends. Will be back!!! read more

Let me start off by saying the food was good. We did wait an hour for our food and it took them 1/2 an hour to bring us our coffee we had to ask. No one checked in with us to tell us when we could expect our food. The waitress seemed less than concerned about the wait. I also saw people who came in after us get their food first. The service was terrible but again the food was good. read more

We were looking for a breakfast place that had gluten free options for breakfast. My husband contacted the restaurant and received a quick response from the owner about what was gluten free on the menu. The location of the restaurant was great - we were able to meet our daughter there on our way to skiing. The service was excellent. The prices, menu selection, and food quantity were also great. We were there at 6:45 AM, and already there were many construction workers there having breakfast before they went to work. Obviously, they knew that the café was a good place. And now our family has a new favorite breakfast stop, too. read more

We loved shopping, sitting and sipping our hot beverages. We took some scenic photos and continued on the drive path. We highly recommend it. One of the great things we did on our final day in Denver.

I was excited about this place because of its great location, but unfortunately, the service was disappointing. When we were seated, we waited about 10 minutes just to get our drinks. Throughout the meal, we felt ignored--our coffee was never refilled, even after asking multiple times. Our food eventually arrived, but the experience only got worse. We had steak, but it took 15 minutes to get A1 sauce, despite asking three different servers. I also ordered corned beef hash with my breakfast, and it never came out. I had to remind three different servers about it before they finally brought it. The lack of attention to detail and poor service really took away from the experience, especially considering how expensive the food is for the quality. Overall, I was very disappointed and would hesitate to return. read more

Hash browns were a little blah (not crispy enough), but we had to work really hard to find something negative! Our experience was spectacular. The food was delicious, came really fast, and was clearly made with quality ingredients. The breading on the chicken fried steak was nice and flour-y, which pleased this Texas girl! Eggs were cooked perfectly to order and (in case you're a connoisseur of chorizo) the chorizo was the good dry crumbly kind, not the greasy mushy kind. One word to the wise: the green chili is spicy! My big-eater boys (10 & 11) split the cinnamon roll french toast combo and it was plenty. When we asked for our free muffin (a limited time Yelp check-in promotion), they brought us two... The servers were SO friendly and checked on us frequently. We'll be coming back -- a lot! read more

Just had breakfast here - 2 adults and 2 kids. Wait time before food on the table 35 min. Menu: Eggs benedict, breakfast burritos and pancakes for the kids. The good thing: Green chili. Pancakes were almost finished by the kids. The dissapointing things: Coffee was burnt, hollandaise sauce was cold and had separated, hashbrowns were tasteless, ketchup tasted as if it had expired and to top it off there was hair in the food. Surprisingly the waitress asked us to go on yelp and review - even after the above was brought to her attention. Hence this review. So maybe they just had a bad day in the kitchen, maybe even among the waitresses but it still leaves me wondering about the lack of fixing the situation combined with the request for this review. Four of us recently ate breakfast on a Saturday morning at 9:00. We had a Breakfast Sandwich, Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs, Huevos Rancheros, and a Mushroom and Cheese Omelet with Crisp Bacon on the side. The serving size was more than adequate, and the quality of the food was top notch. Everything was wonderful, the service, the attentiveness and the coffee refills. The prices were very reasonable. The place was not crowded, has good parking, has a varied menu with lots of choices, very clean and well-kept and has a good view of the foothills. The bathrooms were also well maintained and very clean. We will be returning. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did. read more

This place absolutely great breakfast. From the warm, welcoming vibe to the delicious food, everything about our visit was spot on. The restaurant has a cozy, relaxed atmosphere, clean, bright, and with great coffee. I ordered the Chorizo and Green Chili were really great. Everything was cooked perfectly, it was delicious and nicely seasoned. Not greasy at all. Pretty great quality of food options and food was really great. The food was light, fluffy, and served with real maple syrup. Coffee was strong, and it has great quality. Service was friendly and attentive. read more

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in please view / golden . The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! My friend Christian brought me a large menudo to work today as he knows I'm a menudo connoisseur and this one is the best I've ever eaten in my life hands down. 15/10 for me! Ate too quick to take a picture but some legit menudo for sure. read more
