BUT, actually when you walk in and know you need assistance you have to sign in with the host in the front so she can take your name down and have someone find you when they're available. They only ask for your name... so you'll see some workers looking around for people asking if you're "this person" I'm sure the host writes a secret description. Just wanted to leave this review as a tip since it seems most people that are buying from this store like to take their time to ask questions and view products. 4-stars because for those of us that like to be in and out (on a busy day), you're gunna be in the store for at least 10-15 minutes (was in here for 20 because I was waiting for a guy since I didn't know about signing in.) I seen a lot a bad reviews for this location but I was fortunate enough that my wife had an amazing experience when we went in. She was looking for a specific purse but they didn't have it in stock. They offered to order it but before that they showed her a few other options. At first I thought they were just trying to up-sell her on a more expensive bag but the sales associate should her a few items cheaper then what she originally wanted before getting to the more expensive items. We purchased a Christmas present over the phone with this store. I will not say what it was because I don't want to spoil gift but the only place it was in the country was at this store. Buying it over the phone at the store was a feat itself because they have no direct phone number anymore. You can't just call the store. Now this place has always been a little rude but this time they were off the chain. We go there about an hour before the close, the security guard claimed they closed in 30 minutes and did not want to let us in to pick up the gift. After some chatting outside, a group of Asian ladies walk up to the store. and he tells them the same thing, they say to him, they are there to buy shoes and he lets them in the store but still not us. What's that about??? A sales associate comes to the door and tells my husband that even though we might have bought it, they may still not have it and probably sold it. We bought it the day before. A one of a kind item. Wait, what...are you joking, we just drove over an hour, you charged our card and you are telling us you might not have it anymore. She decides to let us in, even though they are technically still open....I know...I know. Then she finds the item we purchased after some rooting around in the back. She comes out, all pissed and dumps it on the counter like it's trash. We had to open it to check it. The rudest of the rude. Nowhere is there a retail business model where people take your money and kick you in the pants. This store is the worst of the worst. Went in to look at a purse I've had my eye on. Stood by the counter waiting for someone to come help us. They all walked past us without acknowledging that we were there. Finally after 15-20 minutes, someone asked if we were being helped. We said no and were told we would be helped shortly. 10 more minutes passed by and nobody came. Came here again last night to confirm its not a fluke, but again their salespeople here are not very friendly or helpful. Ended up buying my new bag at the LV in Bloomingdales! They were so friendly and now I know that's where I will go when I'm buying here in OC! They were so friendly and nice and super busy but still helpful. First of all, I have several Lv bags and I came in here unplanned but my husband said let's buy you another bag :) They looked me up and down put me on a list (as snobby of a way as possibly their look was). The next people they told them ten minutes. Twenty minutes later nobody has called us and we left. I will go find LV somewhere else or will just change brands all together. I've had LV wallet, purses etc for years. Have always loved the product for the quality. Well the button to my wallet stopped working, who would have thought with the high quality of LV this would happen? I was disappointed of course. Given how much it cost. My wallet is about 3 years old and I take very good care of it. I decided to take the wallet in to see if they could fix it, to my surprised they said they could and would fix it free of change. I thought great! That was on 8/30/19 the lady gave me her business card and assured me she's going to order the parts and it would arrive in 2-3 weeks. I waited 4 weeks and texted and called the person that gave me her business card. No answer , no reply. I waited a few days and then decided to call the LV store directly myself. No one picked up, so I left a VM. About 1 week later they called to say the part was there and to take it in anytime and it would take 30 minutes to fix. So I said I can take it in today and will wait. The lady on the phone said no problem. This is now 7 weeks later btw. I go to the store. The person in the store tells me I have to leave my wallet for 2 weeks because they are busy, after telling her my story of how long I've waited. She said leave my wallet here and it will be done tomorrow. She Assured me she would call me next day. Well no call, so I called and texted her and called the store. Again no answer and no reply from anyone! I had to call 4 times before getting a hold of someone at the store. I finally picked up my wallet and happy with how they fixed the button but the customer service is poor. If you tell a customer you will follow up , you should attempt to follow up. FRAUD!!!! I came into this store on Saturday to make a purchase. They were extremely busy so I gave my name and waited for a SA. The young guy who assisted me was very nice and very helpful. I selected the bracelet I wanted to purchase. The SA who was supposed to ring up my purchase chastised the guy for asking her to help me. She proceeded to assist other customers while I stood and waited. When she eventually decided to help me I noticed she had AirPods in her ears. You're at work assisting customers. That's one of the most unprofessional things I've ever seen but at this point I just want to make my purchase. She runs my credit card once then claims the charge didn't go through and she needs to run my card again. My credit card blocked the duplicate charge. I ask to speak to the manager because after logging into my account I was clearly charged. The manager insisted they don't show a charge on their end and proceeds to humiliate me for a declined credit card. No, my card wasn't declined, you charged me for a product that my credit card company rightly blocked a duplicate charge on. I left the store and immediately called Louis Vuitton customer service who again insisted that they do not show a charge on their end. I called AMEX to monitor the charge because I did not authorize it. I'm assured by LV that the charge will fall off and not post. Fast forward to this morning and LV charged my card! I immediately called AMEX to dispute the charge and AMEX has opened a fraud investigation into LV. Don't waste your time or money at this LV. I originally purchased my Neverfull GM in Paris but after about 2 weeks of having it I just thought it was way toooo big for an everyday purse. After searching for about a week (since they've been out of stock both online and in store), I found out that the South Coast plaza location had them in stock and pretty much drove there first thing this morning. Juliana was the first to greet us at the door, was polite, professional & quickly exchanged my purchase after sending her the receipt. This review is not related to the LV products that we purchased but instead, it is for one of the Asian ladies that took care of us. We went in to purchase the Neo Square Bag on either Tuesday (08/13/19) or Wednesday (08/14/19). So, we were taken care by this Asian lady (I know her name but I won't write it out as I still have my conscience) and while my mom was looking at the bag, she looked at me from head to toe once and then stepped back a little bit to check again the bag that I was using at the time. She then made a little comment saying that Coach has pretty good design for their bags nowadays. I was okay with her comment but felt uncomfortable when she checked on my appearance twice! My mom was checking the displayed black bag and noticed that it did not have the LV tag like it had on the red bag. So, I asked her if the tag can be purchased or it came with the bag. But before I finished my question, she responded to me (with her eyes closed to emphasize her statement) and said that LV NEVER EVER HAS ANY DISCOUNTS as if I do not know that fact for higher level branded bags. I was insulted by her response and I then told her that I did not mention anything about discounts and I was just asking about the tag. She was embarassed but did not apologize for what she had said. We eventually purchased the bag and just so you know, we have purchased LV bags countless times and my mom has even become the VIP member. So, I am sorry if I am not one of those rich Chinese kids, but please be respectful towards other people from different background! So sad after spending thousands of dollars on a pair of sunglasses and coordinating jewelry and a handbag... The sunglasses which I wore approximately five times, and were kept in a hard case, keep loosening up. On my second trip in to the Louis Vuitton store at fashion island inside Neiman Marcus... I was told Louis Vuitton does not stand by their product or replace defective products. Zeus said that he could fix my glasses, and instead of fixing them he totally bent the frame, and the manager of the store just said that they don't replace. Zeus, then proceeded to tell me, actually accuse me, that I missed treated my sunglasses... Not only was I offended, but he was absolutely serious. I'm completely on accountable for bending my sunglass frames. Now I can't even wear them which I pointed out to the store manager who did nothing about it. The workers are all so sweet and helpful unlike the one located at fashion Island. I had a bought a bracelet at the fashion Island location where the rude manager did not allow me to do a return because he swore there was wear and tear on the bracelet while it was still in the packaging. I went in Saturday and planning to check out some purses. First you need to flag for the people to take your name and then they assign someone to serve you. I got assigned by a tall guy, who barely even talked to me and I showed him what I wanted to check out and I didn't even brother to give me any service or other recommendations or suggestions. A few days later, I found something I like more and I decided to return the purse I got. And this girl told me I could not return it because her computer only showed store credit or a gift card options only. I told her I did exchange for a different color but the receipt is what you guys gave me. She insisted saying since I don't have the original receipt from the original purchase, she could not do anything because she didn't know how I paid for the purse. I immediate pulled out my phone and showed her my bank statement. I said look I just got the purse last Saturday. Can I talk to someone else? At first she was hesitated to ask someone else. I insisted and she sent someone else with not experience. So the lady told me they usually keep the original receipt after an exchange, but they can use my name and phone number to obtain it and I should not have any problem to return it since is within 30 days. Like others are saying, this store is really really bad. I had ordered a bag as a Christmas present for my wife back in early November and was told it would take 3-5 weeks to get to the store. After 6 weeks and no contact from the store I reached out and got a customer service agent who said they would contact the store. Queue two more weeks of the agent trying to contact the store unsuccessfully. The agent finally told me they couldn't contact the store and would let me know when there was an update from Costa Mesa. Had the store employee just told me it would be after Christmas, I wouldn't have ordered it. Anyways, I just got an email saying that they expect the bag to arrive in Costa Mesa in April 2022. So, what was a 3 - 5 week estimated time of arrival is turning into 5 months, and the store would have been happy to just not contact me about it. That's absolutely insane for the prices you pay. If I had to guess, because the sales lady showed me the shipping time. It probably came in and they sold it to someone else, since the ETA is now a production timeline instead of a shipping one. Went shopping with my mom on Friday and forgot her card for our mother daughter day. I ended up using a second card to help my mom out vs the card I used for my purchase. My mom ended up changing her mind on the earrings. When I went to return and pulled out the card I used the SA told me the system was putting it back on another card. They did not listen that we had two transactions with two different cards. She said there is no way to change the system. They did not even try to help me and my poor mom feels bad now because it didn't go correctly or smooth. I understand retailers hate returns but come on help us out with the correct way vs making it more difficult for us spenders. I had the Best Experience Ever at Louis Vuitton!!! My bag my Hubby bought for me 3 years ago began to tear in small places. We took it back to the Rodeo Drive store last year when they appeared to ask them to have it repaired. So, last week my Hubby brought me to the mall to pick up my Tiffany's that was ready and we came into LV. I went in to get a monogram strap , the only issue was he didn't even give me a dust bag he just left it in the plastic bag they receive it in, and I inquired about a few repairs in which he told me would take months and months but I could go upstairs and ask them so I went up and they were done in minutes! Some repairs can be done on the spot but some can take months. I got my favorite mm plate changed, a new strap, and my key holder button repaired all in the matter of 20 minutes!!! I ended up returning the monogram strap the next day Jessica was very sweet and was also appalled by the packaging!
