If I can give this place 0 stars I would. The very first time I walked in (2nd floor women's) I was greeted and helped by a kind lady (don't remember her name) where I tried the fragrance "Pacific Chill". I sprayed my wrists and shirt a couple of times. She suggested I take a picture of the perfume so I wouldn't forget the name should I decide to come back and purchase (which I did). The scent lasted on my shirt for 3 days, even after washing! Fast forward to a week ago, my fiancé decided to bring me back and purchase it as my Christmas gift. This time I was assisted by Honey. They're very friendly when they notice you're buying, otherwise they're rude! Very nice, said she would run to the back and box up a new one for me. Came back with a wrapped perfume inside of a bigger LV bag. When I got home, I excitedly opened my perfume which, to my surprise, the box had dings and dents all over it. I didn't make it a big dead because I figured I would be wearing the perfume not the box. Well, let me say, I've worn it twice now. The scent COMPLETELY vanishes within 2hrs as if I never sprayed anything! I told my fiancé for us to come back and get his money back! $350 (with taxes) is not worth a fragrance that only lasts for 1hr. When I walked in (today) with the perfume and receipt in hand? I was NOT greeted. On the contrary, I had to go up to a gentleman asking where I can make a return. Which in turn turned me away to a different lady (tall, pregnant). She said she would get someone and walked away to assist other customers. After waiting 20 MINUTES for help, I walked up to a different lady asking if I can PLEASE get assistance which in turn tells me I cannot return any fragrance because that is in their policy. I politely took my receipt out and asked if she can show me where it says that (because it mentions NOTHING about fragrances). She then made a face and said she would get her manager. After a few minutes, I encountered Lyndsey who asked where the film (plastic wrap) was. And I said I tossed it. I never planned to return such fragrance that I had fallen in love with! She argued and said they couldn't return my money but can exchange for a different one OR give me store credit. What can I possibly buy with $350 at LV!? She argued that because the film was ripped off, I couldn't get a refund. 1st excuse? No returns on fragrances which she couldn't prove, 2nd excuse? Box was damaged but it was THEIR damaged, and 3rd excuse? Because of the plastic film. She then went off to say she would have Honey come talk to me. After Honey declined, she came back and said those were the only options she was "approved" to accommodate me with (store credit or exchange). I then called customer service and although they were not able to assist me because it was an in store purchase, they would definitely escalate reevaluating their policy because (like I said) the policy mentions nothing about not returning fragrances. read more

This review is for the Louis Vuitton in Bloomingdales at South Coast Plaza. The short and sweet of this review is that: this is one of the WORST (and most disappointing) customer service experiences I've had. Pre-visit: My husband contacted the Louis Vuitton customer service and they let us know that the bag (Petit Noe in brown) that we were looking for was available at the South Coast Bloomingdales location. In-store: There was an hour wait to get into the store on a Tuesday! (you've been warned!) I told the girl who checked us in that I was looking for the PETIT NOE in brown and she confirmed it was in-stock. The sales associate then asks again which bag I'm looking for again I repeat, the PETIT NOE. She then proceeds to show me the wrong bag!! (Now, full disclaimer I have never owned a Louis Vuitton before so I didn't immediately identify that it was the wrong bag and relied on the expertise of the sales staff) I expressed how different the bag looked in-person and how long the straps were different compared to the online pictures (I even asked if there was a shorter strap available). Not once did she mention that they had another version of the bag with a shorter strap (which is the one I was looking for!!). I ended up buying the bag (Noe Bb), even though I was still unsure and even asked about the return policy. Post-visit: After I got home I was reviewing the receipt and only then realized I was NEVER EVEN SHOWN THE BAG I ASKED TO SEE! And it made sense why I was not 100% happy with the bag I purchased. Even worse, I called the Louis Vuitton client services to get help with trying to reserve the bag I wanted or at least let the store know my issue and help me resolve, but nothing! Their advice was to drive all the way back, wait in another line and HOPEFULLY they still had my bag. Moral: Come for an expensive (beautiful) bag, but don't expect to receive any kind of expertise or customer experience in-store. Came in on Friday to purchase a new purse and ended up also buying the infamous key pouch wallet. Noticed when I came home the key pouch wallet they gave me must have been display because the wear on the stitching and the gold hardware was highly noticeable. Decided to come back yesterday, Monday 3/3 and was met by an African American lady SA who asked me what I needed. Once I told her I would have liked to exchange for a newer one and to see another size she already was making excuses for the brand. Saying she knows the canvas is wrinkly and I had informed her it wasn't the canvas I was coming in for it was the stitching and the hardware. She then proceeded to tell me she had the same item and can only put "one to two cards in and my stitching is already undoing" I said if you aren't going to replace it then I'll just return it if I'm going to spend $300+ on a key pouch that is going to undo and you aren't even replacing it after just purchasing. Her demeanor quickly changed to displeased of me then deciding to just get a refund. She was rude, unhelpful and couldn't even do a simple request to just exchange it. If you take "ANY" of your LV products in for repair at the store, please look the paperwork prior to signing to see what they are documenting. I purchased LV eye glasses on 9-6-23 at the Men's LV store and realized at home one of the arms were bent. But I got the prescription filled in them anyway and thought it would be an easy fix for LV. So I took them in yesterday 9-18-23 at long story short they couldn't fully fix the bent arm. So when I said I'll just take them back to get another pair, they said the arms had scratches and they marked it on the paperwork I signed. Those glasses were less than 11 days old and had ZERO scratches. Plus, the sales lady literally put the paperwork in my face and for me to sign in order to leave the glasses because I wanted have lunch in the mall. But the tech worked on the glasses and bent the arms prior to me signing. So how do I know they didn't scratch the glasses working on them. So after an almost heated discussion about questioning my integrity, and giving me issues on defected glasses I purchased less than two weeks, the manager Marquise was nice, and professional enough to give me store credit to get me another new pair... But the lady tech lied on the paperwork saying they were damaged when she didn't even inspect them. She immediately gave them to the tech to work on and those pictures they tried to show me of the damage were taken after they worked on them. MAJOR INTEGRITY ISSUES.. DO NOT HAVE THEM WORK ON ANY OF YOUR ITEMS UNTIL YOU THOROUGHLY INSPECT THE ITEM AND FULLY LOOK AT WHAT THEY ARE DOCUMENTING AS DAMAGE... Lesson learned!! But I love my new set of glasses and thank you to Marquise for not making my purchase a regret.. and if LV wants to review camera footage, this occurred 9-18-23, between 1:20pm to 1:30 pm where the liar associate takes my glasses, gives them to the tech to work on them and then takes them to the back for further repair. The pandemic has made me weary about going in stores as I usually like to dart in and out and not linger unnecessarily. I had a particular bag I've been searching for awhile in a particular style so I called in first to 1866VUITTON to make sure the LV in Costa Mesa had it. It was always unavailable online and I was tired of stalking the website so customer service told me that it was in limited stock in the Saks Fifth LV as well as the standing store. I ended up in the LV next to Bloomingdales because it's been awhile I've since I've been to South Coast and I meant to go to Saks instead. Nevertheless the ladies in Saks and asked me what I was looking for. They checked inventory and said they were out but the standing store had it. And so I walked to the store (since it's a 3-5 minutes brisk walk on the same level)I don't know why there's 3 LVs in South Coast Plaza but I'm not complaining, all 3 looked pretty busy. When I got to the store, one of the advisors asked me what I was looking for and connected me to my advisor, Chris. Chris was pretty quick to find what I was looking for. I wanted a Graceful MM in Damier ebene and was happy to being her home. Yes my bag has a pronoun and a name I've picked out. Staff was friendly and helpful. Usually what I like to do is have my online wishlist, call the customer service line to ask if my wishlist items are in the store location inventory then go in and purchase what I want. If you like to browse in person then there's 3 locations to browse in South Coast. I prefer to do my browsing online then go in person. read more

Alright, so Louis Vuitton, it's really a hit or miss in terms of overall customer experience. I have gotten into some pretty nasty arguments with the unprofessional people that sometimes work on the second floor and the managers that flat out lie to me on the first floor. It's really a hit or miss. But for the most part, many of the so-called "SA's" really don't make an effort to help you, and are blatantly obvious about it. So when you run into people who are truly genuine at these stores, they tend to stand out pretty easily. One of those who really stood out was Ashley at Louis Vuitton repair on the third floor. Let me tell you about Ashley, she goes above and beyond, she really does a great job of communicating with you, and she genuinely treats your issue, as a top priority. Nothing short of professional. She really is too expensive for this place and can do better. Ashley is the one who deserves five stars, Louis Vuitton as a whole, a three. So if you are looking for a great experience with a bag repair, and need someone who is well educated, genuinely caring, and has great interpersonal skills, talk to Ashley. Also, some honrable mentions: Jose the S.A at the first floor, he's cool. Actually does his job and bends backwards for you. Overall nice guy once you start ongoing purchase relationship with him. If you go to L.V often and need an S.A, then Jose is a safe bet, if you are buying things on the first floor. Asian manager lady that usually works the front door at floor, no idea her name, but she was very accomodating with approving some basic requests, that normally other managers, on the second floor and first floor usually deny, or pretend that they can't do for us, but she did, and that was amazing. So overall, these three people really made L.V a good experience for us. Otherwise I would have lost hope for the stores at South Coast Plaza. read more

This location has by far provided the best service I've ever had at a Louis Vuitton store. I bought the Marignan purse last month in Paris, and the magnet on the front lock broke today while I was at work. I brought my purse into the store after work and they immediately took care of me. They gave me a receipt and told me that I could exchange my purse for a brand new Marignan purse, or I could pick any other purse I wanted to exchange with (and just pay the difference if more expensive than the Marignan). I ended up still going with the Marignan because I love it so much and they picked out a new one from the back, wrapped it up in a box and bag, and I was on my way! I have never experienced such great customer service. They noticed my bag was faulty and I went home with a new one that day instead of having to wait a month or so for them to ship my purse in for repairs. Stop by today initially to look for a backpack for school. Sadly, they didn't have the one I wanted in stock, so my boyfriend and I were looking at the wallets for men. We found one that was a crossover between a wallet and a card holder. My boyfriend has 2 Hermès cardholders and a Gucci wallet already, but nothing in between, so I ended up buying that for him. Our saleswoman was very kind and helped us as soon as we walked in. We drove to South Coast LV to purchase a gift. I wanted to purchase one of their scented candles on line but wasn't sure of the scent of each candle. The store is fairly large. They have a selection of women's clothing, and shoes. Saw they had a blue carry on. I encouraged hubby to purchase the limited edition carry on luggage. He also purchased 2 belts. When I purchased my carry on, it included a black cover. I sometimes travel with the cover on. Sales lady said they no longer have the covers. She said they'd need to be purchased separately. This is based on the event happened on the evening of 9/28/2018 at the newly opened LV south coast store. We are frequent clients of LV and usually purchase through the LV store inside Bloomingdales as we we know all the sales staff and they are super nice and very friendly. We haven't been to the new LV store since it's opening, so we came to check it out. The customer service at this new LV store is Horrendous! Seems like they have just hired people from off the streets with no etiquette, class or any training in working at a luxury store like this. I was looking at a purse to purchase and this girl yelled at me across the way loudly "EXCUSE ME! I NEED YOU TO STEP AWAY FROM THE COUNTER! IT'S FOR STAFF ONLY!" She was so loud and so rude, half of the store heard her and start staring at her... my husband and I looked at each other in disbelief. We did not engage her directly but of course immediately voiced our concern to the store manager. The store manager was very apologetic but it was too little too late. When we make a luxury brand purchase like Louis Vuitton, a major factor is the whole shopping experience at a classy place interacting with classy and nice staff. This female staff reminded me of "Bon Qui Qui" at King Burger from the show Mad TV!!! I would've given this place 1 star if it wasn't for Gina. She provided great customer service but when it comes to my other experiences, the service here can be very hit or miss. I came in today because I recently had an item hot stamped but the lettering was unevenly spaced and one letter was higher than the other letter. For the amount that I paid for the brand and for quality, I couldn't get over how bad it looked. After speaking to a customer service rep over the phone, she suggested that I go back to the store to see if they could exchange the item. After speaking to two associates who both were able to see the problem, one of them told me to go to the return register. I explained to the associate what was going on and the manager (I believe his name was Chris) walked by and asked what was wrong with the item. When I asked for a return, he originally was unwilling to give it to me because he said that hot stamping is done by hand and that that's the way the lettering can come out sometimes and made it seem like he couldn't see what was wrong with it.. I proceeded to show him how it was uneven and slanted and how even his own associate from earlier gasped an "oh" when I showed it to her. I also let him know that the associate who I bought the item from did not inform me that items were hot stamped by hand and that the lettering could come out uneven or slanted when I made the request. After all of this, he agreed to approve the return, and when I asked if I could just exchange the same item, he told me that I couldn't? That really confused me so I asked if I could just purchase it after they made the return on my card. And he stated that I could if I didn't plan on hot stamping it. I told him I wasn't planning on it anyway especially after I was told the process. Really rude way to speak to a client and he had horrible customer service skills which really makes me question how he got to management. This will be the last time I ever get something hot stamped from LV. Other than that, I'll definitely be coming back to Gina in the future for my other purchases. read more

But when it is dead quiet you will get great service from many people at once. I came here right before Christmas and after New Years to buy a present. All three times actually I had great service from the same lady. She was quite nice and very professional. The only thing I think that took a lot of time was trying to pay for your item!! This LV store is located in South Coast Plaza which is in Costa Mesa and is quite a large one. Many workers are here. There is a guy section for clothes, shoes and wallets and a ladies section for clothes, heels and purses. I would say it is a difficult decision when you are about to spend thousands of dollars on a bag . But it is a new experience and I must say I was very pleased! read more

I had a positive experience at this South Coast LV location. This place is huge. It is their newer expanded location within South Coast Plaza. While browsing, I spotted a purse that was previously not available for a long time. When it was my turn to speak with a sales person, the purse had just been sold. I was only in town for a few days. Shahd, my sales person, took my information and said she would contact me if another would arrive with their next shipment. I got a call at the end of that day and was able to make the purchase before I left town. So happy Shahd took the time to reach out. She was very friendly and accommodating. And I love my purse and experience with this LV location. This place can get busy and there is usually a line to enter especially with limited capacity during the pandemic. It is best to park by the bridge to Macy's if heading to LV. South Coast Plaza is a gigantic mall with 2 main shopping areas connected by a bridge crossing over a main roadway. There are numerous high end shops in one condensed area. I like to say Rodeo Drive under one roof and with air conditioning. :) read more

She bought one for around $600, has been a consistent customer w lots of bags and accessories etc over the years. 2 days later my mom wanted to return the wallet because the snap didn't close easily. We had the box, receipt, bag and the manager that day (blond 5'7 ish) told us "umm yea we cant take the wallet back bc it looks used" WHAT?? We told her she would be losing a customer for life. She didn't t care. 20 Minutes later we found the LV store for men by Bloomingdales. They took it back right away no questions asked. The quality and branding of LV is to DIE for =D I was immediately greeted and had a wonderful experience shopping here. This is one of my favorite LV stores other than Fashion Island, Beverly Hills and Century City Mall. What makes this place unique is their line for FINE JEWLERY. Not all LV stores carry fine jewelry so this place beats them all. To top that off, Orange County has a sales tax rate of 8%! Hooray! We contacted the store multiple times and dealt with the most rude and obnoxious employees. I would say that I wasn't impressed with this particular LV store, but I also wasn't completely put off by it. I visited before they re-opened the new 1st floor location. I called ahead of time as I was looking for a particular item to make sure they had one in the store before I visited as I know they are now limiting the availability of many of their canvas items and sticking more to their leather designs. The item I wanted was the round coin purse and I asked for it as soon as a sales associate approached me. After I described it she made the comment "Oh. The TINY little pouch?", emphasis on the "tiny". I could tell she did that on purpose, but I remained nonplussed about it. After she located one and I went to pay for it I asked about getting an item hot stamped, specifically my agenda. They told me the wait would be a couple of hours and then made another grating comment since I was there on Mother's Day, "you chose to come on one of our busiest days". Yes. I did. Perhaps because I'm a mother, and I chose to spend a couple of hours shopping, on Mother's day. But, moving on. I left my item to be hot stamped and told them I would wait. And finally I also asked about getting an item repaired. I had a wallet that needed a new snap button. It took them a while to locate the item in one of their old-timey product catalogs, but they found it and told me that they could repair it. The wallet is vintage (from 1983) and I knew that they would only do the repair if they could use components that would keep the design and integrity of the item in tact. I was pleased with this part of my visit since they were helpful and did repair my wallet for free. When I returned for my coin purse and hot stamped agenda, the store was much busier, but I was helped in a timely manner. My only complaint about this was that they did not include the ribbon on the box :( Also, I'll add that when I returned a month or so later to pick up my wallet, the staff was a bit friendlier and they did include a new dust bag and shopping bag for my wallet. I've been to the LV at Newport Beach Fashion Island and it is smaller, but a bit friendlier. I seen a lot a bad reviews for this location but I was fortunate enough that my wife had an amazing experience when we went in. She was looking for a specific purse but they didn't have it in stock. They offered to order it but before that they showed her a few other options. At first I thought they were just trying to up-sell her on a more expensive bag but the sales associate should her a few items cheaper then what she originally wanted before getting to the more expensive items. First of all I love Louis Vuitton items. This will go all over the map. I personally have purchased a little over $20,000 of purses, wallets, luggage, charms, backpacks and more. I've shopped in three other country's to find something new. I purchased a dog carrier and of course my Morkie hated it. I went to South Coast Plaza to return the dog Carrier. Some very aggressive women came out and said she would not except the carrier. I put my dog in it one time for 3 minutes and she said it looked very worn out!! As she's inspecting the carrier with white gloves I disagreed with her. She literally walked away. So the next day I drove down to San Diego where I purchased the carrier and they took it back immediately so i picked a purse and key holder in exchanged. Sadly one month later my house was broken into and most of my Louis Vuitton items were stolen. I literally cried. Stupidly we went to South Coast Plaza to get printouts of all the items I had purchased. We were pushed on to 3 different people. First guy said he was getting off work which I saw him there the whole time. Second person just called over another sales person "Leo". He couldn't or didn't want to help us because he was busy. He said he couldn't print out anything but the last three transactions. I asked him what about Paris, Canada and Hawaii purchased items? On my life Leo told me I had to FLY to each place to get my receipts. I said First of all I love Louis Vuitton items that response is unacceptable. Between my purchases and about $10,000 in gifts they would not look up my ex boyfriends purchases. I lost it!!! I then went to the Louis Vuitton store in Neiman Marcus. The gentlemen took us back in a quiet room and printed out everything and contacted the others stores out of California gave us all the contact information in which they emailed my receipts. I will only shop at the Neiman Marcus's Louis Vuitton store. The South Coast Store needs to be trained. Not everyone is there to buy something. I've spent so much time and money there I could not believe how poorly I was treated. I'm still trying to piece together what was stolen. If they offered me a free purse I would hang up on them. They truly don't even deserve 1 star. Shame on you South Coast Plaza, Louis Vuitton store!!! Disgusting!!! This store is located on the second floor by Macy's. This was the craziest situation. We shop all of the years at Louis Vuitton store international wise, never in this location. therefor, I was surprised Louis Vuitton actually have a bad customer service store here. I went to Italy and bought my Mom a scarf, because she specifically said she like the one my sister has, so when I went to Italy for a get away, I bought her the same one and wanted surprise her, however, after she dry clean one time, the scarf just did not look the same as how It looked like in the beginning(not very shinning anymore), so I called LV corporate and ask a solutions, they suggested me go to a local store for help, sure! Ron Avivann who helped us were completely made me have a diffident look for this company, as long as we walked in to the store, Ron greeted us in a very incorporate way, the conversation as below: me: sir, I bought this scarf for my mom, she dry cleaned one time, but the original shinning look was gone, so what is the solution I can get back the way it was? (Maybe some special cleaner that I don't know) Ron: What do you mean? the shinning look? Me: the scarf was really shinning silk, what can we do to make it back after only one time wash. Ron: Are you saying we sell fake stuff? Me: Huh? where the fake came from? I bought this in Italy and I am looking for a solution to get the shinning looks back. Ron: Our return policy are 30 days. Me: I am not returning, I am looking for a solution. Ron: That is a return to us.. Me: Sir, I am not returning, it is a gift! Ron: Just let you know that anything came back to the store, it will go to the trash! Me: I am not returning!!! I said many times. Ron: let me go ask couple of my co-works and get back to you. Me: cool! Thank you! After few minutes, he came back and said all of my co-works thinks it has been washed, and there is no solutions. Me: are you telling me everything I buy here I only can have it for one time use. Ron: Yes, just like when you buying a pair of shoes, once you use them, you know you cant make it look like the same.. Me: (totally lost) that I can understand, but this is a scarf, you dont wear it every day! Ron: sorry there is no solutions! Anyway, my sister feel she cant get an answer from this guy, went to a Chinese associate that actually gave her solution as " just steam it and you will get the look back" I went back to Ron and let him know" that is a solution, and that is what we here for", but you will not believe what he said, he said" my co-work did not even look at the scarf, how can he know? and no, steam is not a solution" I feel I am talk to a wall and walked away! I cant believe, with all of the years lovely experience with Louis Vuitton, the customer service went down as LV don't even consider their employee understand skills. I love my LV handbags. Like really! Who doesn't, Right? They're made well, smell amazing (that leather smell) and they last quite sometime. ~ Price wise - I believe are priced well. ... My wallet wasn't doing the trick for me. Mommy life - I have to carry a diaper bag and I no longer carry a handbag. Back to my wallet, I kept forgetting it everywhere. As a mommy, I needed something that was easy to carry and I wouldn't forget. I visited their online store and made my decision from home. I chose the Damier Key Pouch. All I need it for was for my DL and Credit Cards. Sad. I didn't want to use their shipping method or pay online and have to wait 2 days to pick up my item at one of the LV stores. So, I drove my butt to the South Coast Plaza LV store which by the way, the LV store on the second floor near the Macy's isn't open just yet. Visit the one down stairs across from the Men's LV. I come in ready to buy and wanted my visit to be a quick In and Out. For the reason that I've never liked their Customer Service. It can be a hit or miss with a horrible experience or a waste of time. I've had to wait 30 mins in the past and had to give up and walked out with NADA in my hands. This time I walked in and went straight to the cashier and asked for a Damier Key Pouch. A beautiful lady walk quickly to me and packaged my item quite quickly as well.
