As my husband and I walked in on a Sunday evening we were greeted by some employees, normally in luxury stores you're assigned to someone right away, I guess this location is different. I already knew what I was looking for but no one even came around for a good ten maybe fifteen minutes. I finally got assistance and my SA was nice but I don't feel like it was anything special, it's almost like they treated everyone like it was just a basic store, there was no sense of urgency to assist. I had a strange experience with the repair team. I brought in a purse for my mom to have it repaired. I talked to one woman and she looked at it and then looked to her coworker who shook her head and walked away. The other woman said "this was repaired with materials inconsistent with our products". I asked for her to elaborate because I didn't know what that meant and she repeated herself. Then they whispered to each other. I told them I needed more info and then they just stared at me. I asked if they meant that it was fake and she said I can't say that. So if it was repairs by someone was it real before the repair? The whole experience was odd and exclusive. I was in dire need of my wife's anniversary gift, and unfortunately, my experience with John Au (manager/lead) wasn't professional as he neglected all of my follow ups. I had this store ship me an item to my house, and the worst happened. My gift was stolen and all John kept telling me was it's on UPS and there's nothing her can do. After 29 days without an update nor my refund (I'm deserved) I had to escalate to corporate for them to handle my issue. I've shopped at this location twice - June 2021 and July 2023. Both times, the associates have been nice BUT their demeanor does change when they notice that I'm serious about buying and that I'm making huge purchases. Both times, I have walked out with TWO bags. At first, they hold back. So yes, the other reviews complaining about customer service are true. June 2021: I recall the associate getting irritated when I asked to see different style bags, but then once I told him that I wanted to see different styles bc I was buying 2 different bags, everything changed. Granted, I walked in looking like I didn't have a penny to my name as I was in yoga pants, no makeup, and my hair in a bun. July 2023: the associate was friendly since as soon as I walked in, I knew what I wanted. Once he realized that I would be buying 2 bags, then he got even friendlier and gave me several perfume samples at the end. At first I could tell he was skeptical if I would be buying anything. Incredible service by Brittney Navarro! I hardly know this girl but she is just so amazing! She's so helpful, loving and caring about my products. I truly appreciate it! I took a wallet in for repair and she was excellent at greeting us and made the whole process just a breeze! She explained how the process works (even when I already knew lol). She inspected my item carefully and delicately which I always appreciate because I'm always scare my items might get damaged and I care a lot for my items. She just makes you feel at peace about leaving your items with her The two times that she's helped me she's always had great communication with me letting me know the updates and answering all my questions. What horrible and disrespectful customer service. My husband and I popped in to the women's store to see what was new when I immediately saw a pair of boots I had been trying to find for a year. Needles to say I was stoked. When we were able to flag down a sales associate I asked if they had the boots in a size 8. Instead of a "let me check" she replied with "well do you know how much they are, do you still want to try them on?" Seriously wth! I should have responded with "do you know you shouldn't judge people based on their looks" but I replied with "yes, I am aware and I would like to try them on." What a rude comment to make, I'm in a luxury store, I know the price points, just because I'm wearing sweats (aviator nation btw) and my husband is in jeans and a Hawaiian shirt doesn't mean I'm poor and wasting your time. I should have left then but I've been wanting these boots forever so I ignored that comment and tried them on. Flash forward to trying on the boots - they were extremely uncomfortable and just didn't fit the shape of my leg. I tried going up to an 8 1/2, didn't fit and the 9s weren't much better - I'm bummed but it's not a big deal so I decided to pass. Im assuming she's now desperate and trying to make a $2,000 sale - she had the balls to try and convince me to buy a size 10 (I wear an 8) and to "just try and make them work." So she went from basically assuming I can't afford anything in the store to trying to get me to buy something that I no longer wanted. It was okay. This was my first purchase. I went in around noon today. My experience in Texas was much better. The staff was much more welcoming, gave me can coke plus a good quality napkin lol, had fewer people in the store, was very patient, and took the initiative to look for any item we wanted to see. Plus, I like how friendly they were with just making conversation. The lady managing the lines was nice, and she informed me that there was two pochette accessories left. The lady that came to help me was like right off the bat oh, we don't have that item. I told her that I called the national hotline 3 times each time confirming the bag I want is here. I got annoyed because she didn't even bother checking until my friend was like the lady in the front checked before we came in and informed us there was still an availability. Then she checked on her phone and was like, oh yeah, there is. I just felt overall rushed. I know there is a line outside, but still. Even with limiting how many people are let inside, I still felt there was too many people inside. We had to wait for a cash register to be open. Also, we were allowed in to look around even though I told the first last I am only here for one item. So it got crowded with people in the process of purchasing and with people like my friend and I just standing there waiting for a sales person. Needed to buy a very nice hand bag for my wife while we are here in SoCal and decided to stop by. Louis Vuitton has always been the standard of high fashion and elegance for everything Purse and Hand bags. However, I've never been to this particular store front at the South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, CA. Here is the whole experience. The main entrance is through a double panel glass doors where you are met with a warming welcoming committee of attendance. They ask if you would like service and immediately adds your name to the queue. In the meantime you are welcome to browse around in their typical elegant 4 rooms of wonder from fashion wear to enticing body sprays, perfumes, and anything hand bags, clothing, travel gears and even LV shoes. After about a good 5 minutes of wondering around, the clerk attendance found us and proceed to help us look for the hand bag. It gave me enough time to sit at this comfortable lounge chair writing this review while the clerk assisted my wife for the hand bag. It's about 8:36pm here local time in SoCal and the mall is closing at 11pm. There are still over 40-50 people wondering around in this store. Recommending this Louis Vuitton store to anyone who could afford some do the items they have to offer. read more

The sales people are super friendly, even when I was there the day before Christmas eve! I have purchased several items, and even had something repaired. On all accounts, I was overwhelmingly pleased. The employees, really know their stuff to, even the LV history, which is fun to hear. Not only did she find my dream bag during Christmas when NOBODY had it in stock, she recently helped me out with an LV bag I purchased while I was traveling and I was less than pleased with it. She was able to locate a brand spanking new Speedy 25 Empreinte in Noir and had it Hot Stamped for me which of course...turned out perfect! Nicole is that girl that every gal wants to have in her cirlce. She's real and honest and she isn't just trying to sell you something you don't want or need which is why I love her even more. I pretty much bugged her for quite some time asking her for help. She never made me feel like an inconvenience even though I know I might have been a little much haha. The irony of this LV location is that every LV store my family and I have shopped at around the world prides itself in excellence of products and service. The problem starts with the management and how they chose to handle clients and direct the staff to handle clients. Here's a quick lesson on client services. When a customer comes in for an issue, or a color exchange in my situation, and you identify an issue with the product, whether or not you think it's caused by me, the customer, stick to the FACTS. FACT: There is a defect with the product I brought in. FACT: I bought it the day prior at a different free-standing LV store in a different city (Las Vegas). FACT: Your store policy doesn't allow for exchange or return at your store for defective products sold by a different store. NOT a Fact: You THINK I wore it. NOT a Fact: You THINK I damaged the product. NOT a Fact: You THINK it smells like I wore it. Your assumptions that I would wear it, damage it, and then try to exchange it is what offends me personally because you're implying I'm dishonest. If you can't back your assumptions with proof, stick to the facts you know (see above). Don't start with accusing the customer of what you THINK happened. Did you see me wear it? Did you see me damage it? Is it possible that the person who sold it to me accidentally snagged it on their jewelry without noticing? Is it possible you snagged it on your jewelry when you took it out? Why don't I jump to accusing, you, the store reps? Because they are not facts I can back up. So I don't have the audacity to blame you. Your accusations are NOT facts, they are YOUR speculations based on your biases, and they will only serve to vilify and aggravate the customer because no person on earth likes to be accused of something they did NOT do. Above all, you blaming the customer serves zero purpose to solving the problem. You blaming the customer shows you just want us out of your hair and you don't even want to help. Once you've identified the facts, try your best to HELP the customer with a solution, even if that solution isn't an immediate resolution. If you're saying I can ship it in for exchange, offer to help me ship it. This IS Louis Vuitton right? Don't tell me to drive back to Las Vegas LV. If you want to use your imagination and creativity, use it for problem solving, not customer blaming. I could've cared less about having to buy a replacement item if you weren't willing to return the first one because of a defect I didn't catch at time of purchase. What pisses people off (seeing the other reviews) is when you jump to conclusions that you cannot substantiate and disrespect the customer by being blame-oriented vs. solution-oriented. Came in on Friday to purchase a new purse and ended up also buying the infamous key pouch wallet. Noticed when I came home the key pouch wallet they gave me must have been display because the wear on the stitching and the gold hardware was highly noticeable. Decided to come back yesterday, Monday 3/3 and was met by an African American lady SA who asked me what I needed. Once I told her I would have liked to exchange for a newer one and to see another size she already was making excuses for the brand. Saying she knows the canvas is wrinkly and I had informed her it wasn't the canvas I was coming in for it was the stitching and the hardware. She then proceeded to tell me she had the same item and can only put "one to two cards in and my stitching is already undoing" I said if you aren't going to replace it then I'll just return it if I'm going to spend $300+ on a key pouch that is going to undo and you aren't even replacing it after just purchasing. If I can give this place 0 stars I would. The very first time I walked in (2nd floor women's) I was greeted and helped by a kind lady (don't remember her name) where I tried the fragrance "Pacific Chill". I sprayed my wrists and shirt a couple of times. She suggested I take a picture of the perfume so I wouldn't forget the name should I decide to come back and purchase (which I did). The scent lasted on my shirt for 3 days, even after washing! Fast forward to a week ago, my fiancé decided to bring me back and purchase it as my Christmas gift. This time I was assisted by Honey. They're very friendly when they notice you're buying, otherwise they're rude! Very nice, said she would run to the back and box up a new one for me. Came back with a wrapped perfume inside of a bigger LV bag. When I got home, I excitedly opened my perfume which, to my surprise, the box had dings and dents all over it. I didn't make it a big dead because I figured I would be wearing the perfume not the box. Well, let me say, I've worn it twice now. The scent COMPLETELY vanishes within 2hrs as if I never sprayed anything! I told my fiancé for us to come back and get his money back! $350 (with taxes) is not worth a fragrance that only lasts for 1hr. When I walked in (today) with the perfume and receipt in hand? I was NOT greeted. On the contrary, I had to go up to a gentleman asking where I can make a return. Which in turn turned me away to a different lady (tall, pregnant). She said she would get someone and walked away to assist other customers. After waiting 20 MINUTES for help, I walked up to a different lady asking if I can PLEASE get assistance which in turn tells me I cannot return any fragrance because that is in their policy. I politely took my receipt out and asked if she can show me where it says that (because it mentions NOTHING about fragrances). She then made a face and said she would get her manager. After a few minutes, I encountered Lyndsey who asked where the film (plastic wrap) was. And I said I tossed it. I never planned to return such fragrance that I had fallen in love with! She argued and said they couldn't return my money but can exchange for a different one OR give me store credit. What can I possibly buy with $350 at LV!? She argued that because the film was ripped off, I couldn't get a refund. 1st excuse? No returns on fragrances which she couldn't prove, 2nd excuse? Box was damaged but it was THEIR damaged, and 3rd excuse? Because of the plastic film. She then went off to say she would have Honey come talk to me. After Honey declined, she came back and said those were the only options she was "approved" to accommodate me with (store credit or exchange). I then called customer service and although they were not able to assist me because it was an in store purchase, they would definitely escalate reevaluating their policy because (like I said) the policy mentions nothing about not returning fragrances. read more

Like many other reviews, if I can give this place 0 stars -- I would without ANY hesitation. You'd think that for a high-end store, you'd be treated with respect and welcomed in, right? Well, think again because the staff here are extremely rude. Their attitude is so bad that I felt like they didn't want to come into work but was forced to. Secondly, the atrocious wait time! Whether you're here to window shop, make a purchase, make a return, or make an exchange... be prepared for a 1-2 hours wait time! There's no accountability here. The wait time simply explains itself because their staff are just standing around the store chatting with each other and not assisting customers. Even when you are paired with a staff member, they do not give your undivided attention. They juggle between helping multiple people, which furthermore slows down the checking out process. I made 3 purchases here for my mom and all three times, they either leave us hanging for 30 mins while they go chat with each other or help other customers while checking us out. This level of unprofessionalism is just so bizarre, especially for LOUIS VUTTON. In addition to the customer service issue, QUALITY and AVAILABILITY is another big one. Whenever we ask for them to check on availability, their answer is that they don't know or that we should just check online. For an example, I purchase a Neonoe MM handbag for my mom yesterday and the staff refused to bring out a few of the handbags for us to choose from and compare. In addition, she left us hanging for 20 minutes while she went in the back office to clean up inventory... After making the purchase and when we got home, I noticed that the leather stitching on the bag didnt match up. I'm currently sitting here waiting for an exchange with a 1.5 hour wait time. If you take "ANY" of your LV products in for repair at the store, please look the paperwork prior to signing to see what they are documenting. I purchased LV eye glasses on 9-6-23 at the Men's LV store and realized at home one of the arms were bent. But I got the prescription filled in them anyway and thought it would be an easy fix for LV. So I took them in yesterday 9-18-23 at long story short they couldn't fully fix the bent arm. So when I said I'll just take them back to get another pair, they said the arms had scratches and they marked it on the paperwork I signed. Those glasses were less than 11 days old and had ZERO scratches. Plus, the sales lady literally put the paperwork in my face and for me to sign in order to leave the glasses because I wanted have lunch in the mall. But the tech worked on the glasses and bent the arms prior to me signing. So how do I know they didn't scratch the glasses working on them. So after an almost heated discussion about questioning my integrity, and giving me issues on defected glasses I purchased less than two weeks, the manager Marquise was nice, and professional enough to give me store credit to get me another new pair... But the lady tech lied on the paperwork saying they were damaged when she didn't even inspect them. She immediately gave them to the tech to work on and those pictures they tried to show me of the damage were taken after they worked on them. MAJOR INTEGRITY ISSUES.. DO NOT HAVE THEM WORK ON ANY OF YOUR ITEMS UNTIL YOU THOROUGHLY INSPECT THE ITEM AND FULLY LOOK AT WHAT THEY ARE DOCUMENTING AS DAMAGE... Lesson learned!! But I love my new set of glasses and thank you to Marquise for not making my purchase a regret.. and if LV wants to review camera footage, this occurred 9-18-23, between 1:20pm to 1:30 pm where the liar associate takes my glasses, gives them to the tech to work on them and then takes them to the back for further repair. Prior to me leaving for lunch, that's when I sign paperwork and my glasses were already in the back. There was no inspection. Camera footage doesn't lie!!! read more

This review is for the Louis Vuitton in Bloomingdales at South Coast Plaza. The short and sweet of this review is that: this is one of the WORST (and most disappointing) customer service experiences I've had. Pre-visit: My husband contacted the Louis Vuitton customer service and they let us know that the bag (Petit Noe in brown) that we were looking for was available at the South Coast Bloomingdales location. In-store: There was an hour wait to get into the store on a Tuesday! (you've been warned!) I told the girl who checked us in that I was looking for the PETIT NOE in brown and she confirmed it was in-stock. The sales associate then asks again which bag I'm looking for again I repeat, the PETIT NOE. She then proceeds to show me the wrong bag!! (Now, full disclaimer I have never owned a Louis Vuitton before so I didn't immediately identify that it was the wrong bag and relied on the expertise of the sales staff) I expressed how different the bag looked in-person and how long the straps were different compared to the online pictures (I even asked if there was a shorter strap available). Not once did she mention that they had another version of the bag with a shorter strap (which is the one I was looking for!!). I ended up buying the bag (Noe Bb), even though I was still unsure and even asked about the return policy. Post-visit: After I got home I was reviewing the receipt and only then realized I was NEVER EVEN SHOWN THE BAG I ASKED TO SEE! And it made sense why I was not 100% happy with the bag I purchased. Even worse, I called the Louis Vuitton client services to get help with trying to reserve the bag I wanted or at least let the store know my issue and help me resolve, but nothing! Their advice was to drive all the way back, wait in another line and HOPEFULLY they still had my bag. Moral: Come for an expensive (beautiful) bag, but don't expect to receive any kind of expertise or customer experience in-store. Very disappointing, and I hope I can still love my new bag even after everything! read more
