My daddy says, "A man who can, will." #grateful
    Nessa R.

I'm an LV girl through and through and listen... I thought my little addiction was gone! Apparently not, because the moment he said he had to take me to 5th Ave, I knew exactly what kind of trouble we were getting into. (Side note: A Man who loves the finer things is a keeper.) Thanks Big Daddy! And the funniest part? He swears I'm spoiled but I am not rotten and honestly, I accept that with pride. His fault not mine! Thank goodness I didn't have my own transportation because it would've been a whole situation. I would've walked out with half the store and he would have let me. Walking in was seamless, no wait, no attitude, no chaos at the door. Just luxury doing what luxury is supposed to do. We were greeted immediately and helped by an amazing LV staff member who knew her stuff. She brought out the two sandals I wanted, and when the third pair wasn't in store, she ordered them without hesitation. And because I wasn't trying to haul bags back to DC, everything I loved that I didn't need on Monday was shipped straight to me in three days. The clothing section? A dream. I'm a fabric girl, quality matters and LV still delivers on that front. I picked up a few staple pieces because a girl has to keep her staple pieces updated! Now let's talk value. I'll be honest: the 1999-2010 collections were built different. The craftsmanship back then was unmatched. Today's pieces are still beautiful, but the marksmanship isn't what it used to be. Still... LV is my jam, and I'm loyal. I don't really like that they charge you to fix things broken because at this price point their pieces shouldn't break, I digress! Everything arrived quickly, packaged perfectly, and without me lifting a finger. That alone gets five stars. This 5th Ave store? Top tier. The energy, the service, the ease it all felt like home. And since NYC is becoming my home‑away‑from‑home, I'll be back with an appointment to enjoy all the perks. Yes to LV all day! #finerthingsforthefinerthings #grateful #happy #spoiledbutnotrotten #thankGodforunansweredprayers

Beautiful building locations right on Fifth Ave! The store is right across the street and is massive has 5 floors including a cafe on the top floor. Value as we all know it's all LV so expect the prices to be on the high end. The service the staff was lovely and were very nice. A bunch of selection of clothes, bags, makeup, and jewelry to chose from. Highly recommend to check them out.

I had the amazing opportunity to visit the New York flagship store. This is such a massive Louis Vuitton, that showcases many, many products and goods on each of the four floors. I was very thankful to be helped by Sunny. I wanted a keepsake to bring back to LA with me, and I was happy to find a piece that I wanted here. She took me to the amazing fourth floor that had so many cute things, including things for pets. She was gracious with taking pictures, even though I didn't ask, and I was so thankful for it. She helped me get my missing Louis Vuitton chocolate from the third floor. I was very pleased with my experience here. This flagship store is an absolute amazing showcase of art. I was absolutely in love with all of the showcase displays. The value? It's Louis Vuitton! What do you expect.

Came here for the LV cafe, but stayed to peruse some menswear items. LV's flagship store is located on 57th St. in Manhattan. Upon entering, we experienced a multi level store with access available via escalator or elevator. Each level had a beautiful artwork piece that was very impressive. On the menswear floor, there were tasteful displays and associates ready to assist. Each floor has a different esthetic: menswear, ladies wear, the LV cafe, accessories, and even a chocolate candy kiosk! All in all, a grand store, although on the pricey side, worth coming for a visit, a look or purchase.

One of the most interesting buildings I have ever seen. Definitely leaves no doubt as to what business is housed within and stands apart from every other business on this famous stretch of Manhattan. Great concept and execution.

From the moment I walked in, I was treated like my business truly mattered. I'm kicking myself for not remembering the name of the associate who helped me, but she got me some water, made sure I was comfortable, and helped me pick the items that were best for me. The store is positively GORGEOUS with stunning displays and luxurious vibes. We were on a time crunch so I didnt get to explore as much as I'd like. On my next trip I'd like to try some chocolates and maybe even try to get a coveted reservation to the Cafe

Playful LV façade at their temporary location - 7/22/2025

Did you know Louis Vuitton's initial connection to New York began in 1898 in the U.S.? The actual first Louis Vuitton flagship store, at 1 East 57th Street, was built in 1980, and is currently going through a major renovation. If you haven't heard, the entire building is wrapped in a large scale LV monogram trunk replica standing at 240 ft tall. It's quite a sight to behold! In the meantime we can shop at their temporary address at 6 East 57th Street, which has a playful carousel theme. They also have a cafe. Let's go shopping!

What an amazing and fun store! The interior is amazing, the associates are so friendly and fun and the selection is out of this world! I will definitely return!

For some reason most Luis Vuitton locations do not get great ratings. I had a 5 star experience and then some in the newer flagship location. I was greeted upon the third level by Timur was extremely accommodating. He did not apply any sales pressure and had my best interest in mind. He must have spent at least 2 hours with me. I was looking for several items including a travel bag. He gave me a guided tour of several of the floors including their flagship restaurant and chocolate store. Luis Vuitton did not spare any expense in constructing this massive location. They have just about everything you can image. Anything from clothing, travel bags, messenger bags for me, woman's hand bags which most people are famous with. They also have a high end line of dinnerware, glass where, gifts and cases. In my experience their products last and they take pride in service and restoration of any special pieces you have from them. They have engraving and customization if you want to take make your purchase stand out from the rest of the crowd. I would highly recommend you go to the flagship Luis Vuitton location and see Timur.

A very cool building design, outside shaped like their signature luggage/purse style in the shape of a traveling trunk, and across the street from another LV store on 57th St., this at the NE corner of 57th & 5th Avenue. Lots of tourists and visitors, photo-ops in the middle of the street... Heard this was temporary while their original building was undergoing some renovation, but this was a crazy wrap to do it...

Oh wow I can't say enough good things about this. Even if you're not a Louis Vuitton fan or purchaser, this building is unique and gorgeous. I was only able to go during the day, but photos of it at night are amazing as well, highly recommend. The actual store across the street is even more impressive and by far the nicest employees I have ever met. Would definitely return, and was thankful for everyone I encountered.

    Brigitte L.

I love me some LV! And I just had to find the luggage boxes building which is basically hiding the construction that's taking place of the store. The store is currently located across the street from the luggage display. And the store is 4 floors!! The 4th floor is the LV cafe. We of course had to walk every floor and Omgosh how hard it was to resist getting something. They also do the stamping there should you want your goodies stamped. We were greeted when we came in and staff appeared to be readily available should service be needed. Nobody followed you or anything which was nice to just be able to walk around and browse.

One of the best Louis Vuitton boutiques I've visited in the USA. While it doesn't live up to its international shops, this NYC flagship store has levels and levels of luxury goods as well as a chocolate shop AND cafe upstairs...very impressive! The original boutique is being remodeled on Fifth Avenue and the facade is now a stack of LV luggage trunks, which proves to be eye-catching and bold. The temporary boutique is still as amazing with four floors of luxury handbags, luggage, jewelry, shoes, clothing, and more. My friend and I felt welcomed upon entrance and the LV ambassadors were helpful and always available. There is a lot to explore in this boutique so unless you are there for a specific, you'll want to spend more time in each department and even get personalization/engraving on items you buy. Each floor was flawless by design and there are both escalators and an elevator to use. This LV location is a great blend of retail, culture, and gastronomy! The chocolates and the chocolate handbags are definitely something exquisite as well.

Now moving on to why 3 stars have been knocked off.... The customer service here is absolutely HORRENDOUS. I was looking at a pair of "creepers" that were absolutely beautiful and was about to ask if they have it in my size when I was rudely approached by a saleswoman (didn't catch her name, but she was in her 40's, I would say), who exclaimed "Um, that is our display!!! You can look at those shoes here!", as she waved her hand to a shelf. Her tone was so horrible that even her colleague, who looked a little younger, started giggling and smirking. I immediately walked out, took three steps down the block, only to think to myself to go back and let her know that I did not appreciate her statement, her tone or the way she handled herself in any means with an interested customer. When I did, she quickly put on a fake smile and passive-aggressively stated "Okay, have a nice day!", as she exaggerated a wave at me, with her friend trying to hide her laugh. Pretty sure I graduated high school years ago... It's unfortunate for the store to be represented like this because my friends and I have been coming here for a while because it's a nice shoe store that is right in our neighborhood. But after this incident, we will all be taking our business elsewhere...
