I love bbq, it's so delicious, I really enjoy some good bbq. I heard about this place and I wanted to try it, my sister and I stopped by and it does definitely smelled really good inside; lots of parking, the staff are all very friendly; the owners were so nice and very helpful. I love that they make your food fresh and the dedication and presentation was awesome. I love hot links and it's very hard to find good ones and this place hands down knows how to make a hot link, very impressed. Wow once again those hot likes are fire it's a must try. Wanted to try this hidden gem. Yelp, FB and Google all say open on Sunday. Tried calling to confirm. No answer and no simple business greeting to tell you hours of operation. Drive out to the business and fight with the trains to get there. 30 minutes later and they are closed. Door says Sunday hours but a small piece of paper says hours updated until further notice. The paper looks pretty long on the tooth. Really disappointed but even more annoyed at the business wasting my time by not taking 5 minutes to update the services that let customers know what the hours of operation. Everyone is busy and everyone's time is valuable. Including mine. read more

I have had great experiences everytime I have visited l. The folks behind the counter have been nothing but pleasant and a pleasure to do business with. The rib tips, the brisket, and the chicken chunks all I.could probably eat a pan myself. This place is a Mom and Pop restaurant. It's old, but l"not dirty. The people are we're really nice. The turkey tips with hot bbq sauce were amazing and chicken wings with mild sauce we're pretty good too. I think the prices are more than fair for the amount of meat you'll receive. One minute they are delighted and friendly. The next visit they are slightly rude. The lady (I think the owners wife) doesn't understand some questions being asked. We wanted barbecue and Yelped to find one while we were in the area. The reviews were all positive, so we stopped in. It's a small takeout place, but has a few seats at the little counter, where we parked ourselves. Hubby ordered the 1/2 slab and a hot link. I got the pulled pork without bread. Heaven awaited our palates when we dug in, with ribs falling off the bone hot link making interior heat and the pulled pork creating an addictive hankering for more. The sauce was the best we ever tasted, hot for hubby and mild for me. The Mr. and Mrs. were very gracious, giving us a second helping of the tasty Cole slaw (the potato salad was also lip smacking). Inside looks like it might have been a diner at one time, but without any bench seats or tables. I got some beef brisket and pulled pork to go. Loved the aroma and, which takes a little work to get to as the meat was tightly wrapped in plastic wrap under foil. Sauce choice is mild, hot, or mix, and its more on the thin/vinegary side so don't be expecting Sweet Baby Ray's.
