The sausage was COMPLETELY raw. The shrimp were overcooked. I am really disgusted. Couldn't even eat it. The turkey neck I ordered came in a separate plate was JUST OK, but after seeing this sausage I didn't even want to chance eating the rest.

Hoping to find some tasty crawfish, my girlfriend perused through Yelp and found Louisiana Seafood. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this biz at all, and they need to improve in all areas. ***** I. FOOD Upon entering, you'll notice that it's not very clear where to go or what to do. So, if you're a first-timer, grab a tray to your left, pile on the seafood that you want them to cook or take home, and then take it to one of the two cashiers. They, unfortunately, did not have crawfish when we visited, so we ordered jumbo shrimp, both King and dunguness crab, and a shrimp po'boy. No crawfish available that day, though. (New batches arrive on Tuesdays, apparently.) *Jumbo Shrimp with Cajun Seasoning: Quality and meaty shrimp, but the seasoning didn't give a strong kick. Definitely could be better. More butter could be used, too. **King Crab Legs: Like the jumbo shrimp, they're pretty good, but it's just lacking buttery, seasoned goodness. ***Shrimp Po'boy: A-OK fried shrimps and A-OK French bread. Overall, I didn't think it was memorable. II. SERVICE Folks disinterested staff working behind the counter definitely gave me a few eye-rolls when I asked questions. (OK, I get it. You're having a bad day. Whatever.) Also, they're not very aware of other patrons present. Why do I say that? During the fifteen minutes we waited to receive our food, a homeless man entered and stole a bag of chips and soda. When it happened, my girlfriend and I looked at the mom also waiting for her food, and we both had the "holy crap, this place is crazy" look. III. ATMOSPHERE/ DÉCOR The drab interior inside has a couple large menus on the walls, for you to figure out what you want to order. There are about four small tables inside, too. This is more like an order-to-go type of joint. Pretty dead inside. IV. PRICES Fair and what I would expect for a seafood biz. V. OVERALL Although the food went down fine, I would not recommend going out of your way to grab seafood from there.

WOW first to review! This place is great! They opened up a few months ago and I have been here about 4 times now and the food is great every time. It is mostly a take-out spot, but they have 2 tables inside if you want to eat in. Their Portions are HUGE! My first time here I ordered a foot long crawfish po-boy and it was DELICIOUS, and I was not expecting it to be as big as it was! The past 3 times I came here my partner and I ordered the seafood bucket, which consists of: Snow crab legs, shrimp, crawfish, blue crab, mussels, baked potato, corn on the cob, and celery (Intended for 2 people to share, but plenty for 3). We substitute the mussels out for more shrimp and crawfish and the blue crab out for the smoky Louisiana sausage. The food is GOOD and you can tell it's fresh! I no longer have to drive 7 hours to New Orleans for good Louisiana fare. NICE! The prices are a bargain for seafood also! MY NEW SPOT!

This is a more of a seafood counter...but the fish looks fresh to order.

Boy...don't judge a book by its cover! I walked up to this place a little skeptical. It had only two tables that looked more for waiting than for dining. I stood in line waiting to order behind about 10 others. But the line moved quick, the ladies working were polite and the food was prepared-to-order. The price was amazing. 3lbs of fresh crawfish and two sides for $20. I had to search for a place to eat my order at a park down the street but when I dove into the crawfish they were delicious, the coleslaw was excellent and the corn was sweet and juicy. I've paid much more for worse food. I can't wait to go back to try the catfish. If anything they should put in picnic tables and some better lighting but for the 20mins I was there waiting for my order there was no shortage of customers so I'm sure the people who go know what I know. Don't judge a book by its cover. The food is good.

The woman at the counter was very nice. This place looks like a normal hood carry out when you pull up and when you walk in, but the food was so good that you don't care about any of that. My wife and I were in Atlanta visiting for the weekend and read the reviews of this place and decided to seek it out. We thought we were coming to a restaurant but saw a carry out once we arrived. We still decided to go in and get food to take back to where we were staying to eat later in the evening. We got the shack platter with an additional pound of crawfish, to go. Once we got home and got settled in we commenced to working on the meal. The crawfish and crab legs were great. Great flavor and great seasoning. Crawfish were a little on the small side but no biggie. Shrimp was great. Potatoes and corn was great and the sausage was so good I couldn't stop eating it. They sell the sausage in packs in a freezer in the store but I didn't know how good they were at the time I was there. The sausage was so good that I plan to call the store to find out what kind of sausage it was so I can find out where I can buy some from in the DC area or where I can order it. My next trip to ATL I will definitely be back here for another shack platter. Next time I will try the fish. Its probably just as good as everything else.

Okay Cajun fries. Needs more seasoning and salt.

Had the pleasure of coming here to drop off some keys with my manager. When I entered I was a little taken aback. It is very spacious, and the only available seating is two tables with three chairs around it. Be aware, this is not the place to sit down and eat, this is more of a, "I have a lunch break," type place. The menu is unique, offering a variety of seafood. I decided on the crawdad platter with a side (added extra) of cajun fries. I have to say that the cajun fries and not good at all. Not enough seasoning, salt, and the ones on the bottom were not fried long enough. On a side note, the person behind the register decided to get a little attitude when asked for extra salt and felt the need to comment that they already had seasoning on them. Did not appreciate that, nor the fact that they did not even have salt, that was kind of a wtf moment for me, like what type of place does not have salt available? Regardless of the salt incident, the food itself was delicious. The crawdads were seasoned and cooked perfectly, but the boudin sausage is what really got me. Even if you order something else, order a boudin sausage separately, because they are literally the best thing I have eaten....ever! The rice mixed in with the meat, I want another one just writing about it. I cannot really comment on the quality of the fish that they sell separately as I did not purchase it, but the presentation of it was very nice. The price to amount ratio of crawdads was perfect, and if not so far away from where I live I would definitely go back and buy another plate. The food took a little bit to cook, but I would rather it be done, then get sick. One thing I did notice as I do when at a resturant is that there was no health inspection visible. Maybe I did not look hard enough, but that was a little discouraging. All things aside, this is a great place to go for some simplistic, yet spot on, louisian style seafood.

The food was on point. It was season to perfection. Shrimps was cooked correctly. Corn cook to perfection. The price was reasonable I would go back . Be prepared to wait. The food is cook to order which is a good thing.

    About to go in...

Food is great to me but you come here to place your order and leave. You are here for the seafood NOT customer service, ambience, ordaining experience. My crawfish and shrimp hit the spot. Plenty of parking.

Located about 10 minutes from the airport it was perfect to grab dinner to go on my way to my hotel. The gentleman and I talked travel, food, football as I waited and I thoroughly enjoyed the conversation but what I didn't know was his wife was kicking up some of the best Cajun pasta I've ever eaten! Sorry man, she is the star of the show! I had perfectly cooked shrimp, mixed it with a hearty portion of chicken but the Cajun sauce was perfection. I was hoping to grab some crab legs for my grandmother's birthday celebration, but from the moment I walked through the door, I could tell it wasn't going to go how I hoped. There were barely any options in the display case. Maybe one or two fish, a random cluster, but nothing that made you feel like the store was stocked for folks to shop. And nothing in there was fresh. Everything was frozen. So, I inquired asking if there was more. The person behind the case told me that there was more in the back. I asked him about his crab legs, and was in complete shock when he stated the price. They were charging per cluster, not per pound. A small snow crab cluster? $11. A medium one? $27. That's insanity! At Whole Foods, I can get a whole pound of snow crab with 2-3 clusters for $15. They're charging customers more for less. That's easily over 80% more for maybe half the crab legs. And it sucks to even write this, because I really do try to support businesses in the West End. I want that place gouging is ridiculous. But somebody's gotta say something. I hope they rethink how they're price points and what kind of experience they want folks to have when they walk through the door. But as of today, I won't be back.

This was actually the second seafood market I went to that evening because I had to throw away food from the first place. The usual spots I frequent were packed and had ridiculously high prices, so I decided to try LT New Orleans Seafood Market by ordering on DoorDash. I ordered 3 lbs of crawfish, with one of those pounds including broccoli, sausage, corn, and potatoes. When I arrived, I noticed the restaurant was closer to West End Mall. The area didn't bother me, but the musty, old smell inside did. When they handed me my tray of crawfish, I was immediately skeptical. It did not look like 3 lbs, and as someone who has been eating crawfish since birth, I know what 3 lbs should look like. Already hungry and frustrated, I asked for it to be weighed. At first, I was speaking to the male owner, but then a female owner jumped in, immediately getting defensive. She started insisting they don't cheat people. That wasn't the point--I just wanted to confirm the weight. She told the man to remove the shrimp and vegetables, and I agreed. As he did, she kept saying crawfish shrinks when cooked, which made it clear they weigh before cooking. After weighing, the crawfish and juices totaled 2.64 lbs--not 3 lbs. They offered a refund, but I declined and took the food. The crawfish were decent, and I liked the broccoli, but at that point, I was over it. I ate just to avoid wasting money. I won't be back.
