So this was my first time here. The burger was ok but the fried mushrooms ‍ were better than the burger . The service was ok it was hard to understand the lady who took our order. The restaurant is so run down and also same with there sign as well, this place needs a huge upgrade for the restaurant and also for there sign as well. Also there CASH ONLY so they don't take any type of payment on cards at all. I don't think I'll be coming back to this place and I'm truthfully surprised this place is even still open by the way it looks and everything.

The service is excellent and food is great and prices are respectable for a working person. They offer a variety of American Food. It's an outdoor dining area and they are always well staffed and food is fresh.

Well, quite easy to find it was a little depressing pulling up. The windows are plastered with multiple copies of the menu, cash only signs and a variety of propaganda. Multitude of science telling you not to eat on the premises, but there's picnic tables along side of the building due to the flies in the heat we didn't stay, My bacon cheeseburger was OK wouldn't ride home about it. The french fries were overcooked and so salty, I could eat no more than four or five of them. My husband's burger was also all right, but very very well done. The onion rings were also well overcooked. It's a place to experience once, but not twice.

The thinnest, most pathetic, and tasteless pastrami sandwich in America.

We were hoping for a better experience after hearing about Connie's, but it turned out to be just ok. Nothing special here. They skimped on the the pastrami in sandwich - barely had any meat. Mostly bread. The cheeseburger was just ok. Boaring and tasteless. Service was good though, and the place is old. Really old. We won't return.

A weak and pathetic Pastrami Sandwich

We were hyped about eating at Connie's Drive-In and drove 10-miles to grab lunch. Everything we read and saw looked awesome. I ordered what was to be the best pastrami sandwich in the Sacramento region and a strawberry banana shake. My wife ordered a cheeseburger with extra crispy cross-cut fries. Talking about MAJOR LET DOWN... the pastrami sandwich was a joke. It was the weakest and most pathetic sandwich I ever had. The pastrami had zero flavor and dry. The mustard tasted good though - LOL. The strawberry- banana shake was pinker than Pepto-Bismo, like they add too much strawberry syrup. However, they did use a real banana. My wife's cheeseburger was just alright with little sauce. It wasn't that good. Now the fries were extra crispy considering they weren't fresh. This is a very old burger drive-in with menus covering all windows. It's definitely a hole in the wall. Unfortunately, we won't be back. It's not worth it. I'm 100% certain Togo's will make a better pastrami sandwich and Sonic will make a better cheeseburger. Consume here at your own risk of eating a sub-par sandwich or something.

Food was hot and fresh and I liked that I was able to call ahead and order. Food was still hot by the time I got back home in Antelope.

About the closest thing you can find to a true burger stand in Sacramento. It never disappoints either if you decide to indulge

After all these years, Connie's Drive in is still the truth. Cheap and convenient. prices do not reflect 2024.

Their salmon comes with a chimichurri and roasted red pepper pesto on top that are phenomenal. The entree plate comes with two sides, my favorites are the Mac & Cheese and roasted veggies. However in the summertime they have a lime corn thats phenomenal! Additionally they have salads, sandwiches and bowls. Plenty of seating inside and outside, during the colder nights & months they have heat lamps on. Their iced tea is fresh brewed, they have sodas, beer & wine to drink.

In the past, the staff would prepare my salad as I ordered, but this time I was told to place my order with the cashier and wait for it instead. I decided to try their seasonal Peach & Goat Cheese Salad and added a side of mixed turkey (both dark and white meat). I requested the caramelized pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, and dressing on the side since I wasn't sure I'd enjoy the sweet toppings. The salad looked decent at first, but once I got home, I quickly realized the peaches were old, bland, and completely lacking flavor. It was such a disappointment, especially considering it's the middle of July, when peaches should be at their peak. There were only a few strawberries scattered throughout, and the ratio of fruit and red onions to the large amount of greens felt way off. Honestly, I hate when I can make a better salad at home. Experiences like this are a big reason why I don't visit Jack's Urban Eats very often. On the positive side, the staff were cordial and the atmosphere was relaxed. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to expectations. I'd skip the seasonal Peach & Goat Cheese Salad unless they improve the quality of the fruit.
