Cool spot for live music and drinks. Staff very friendly and helpful. Walking distance from downtown.

The food was very good. The drinks were great. And the outside tables were amazing especially at sunset.

The absolute best place to eat (and drink) on St. John. Everything about this place was great. Located right in Cruz Bay, it's an easy walk from the ferry building and main taxi spot. It's also right on the water, so if you sit outside, you can get a beautiful view of the water and enjoy the ocean breeze. They also have great indoor and bar seating. The food was incredible. The cannon balls (meatballs) were absolutely delicious - super flavorful and juicy. Their pizza, though, was some of the best pizza I've ever had. We got the Jolly Roger, which has a garlic oil base vs a marinara base. Combined with fresh cheese and prosciutto, I wish this restaurant was closer to me so I could eat it again. The drinks are also great. They have some great rum-based cocktails to meet many different tastes. I loved the Black Beards Killa - it has a wonderful fresh banana flavor. They also have so many different varieties of rum if you want to drink it neat. Staff here are great. They're fun to talk to and are incredibly friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. Highly recommend stopping here while on St John.

Wow! This place has one of the best views on Cruz Bay! We ordered some fantastic drinks and a funguy pizza! DELICIOUS! Alec was an amazing server and we truly appreciated his excitement when sharing his favorites with us! Our food was delivered quickly and was perfect! Highly recommend!

Best Gluten free pizza that I've ever had...hands down!! Drinks were good as well as the meatballs appetizer. Atmosphere is cool as it is on the water in Cruz Bay.

We came back to this place multiple times! The pizza was the best we have had on the island. Our waitress was the same both times and she was great! We sat outside both times we came and loved it. We had a group of 6 and they always accommodated. I would highly recommend coming! Extras like ranch or honey or sauce was quiet a bit extra but that's not uncommon on the island, just be aware. Even water is expensive! Lol definitely come try their pizza you won't regret it

We got pizza and it was good. But the real star of the show was the rum punch! My husband got me the double, which was huge and I sipped off of it for 3 days. :)

We enjoyed a lovely evening at Lovango while vacationing in St. John. Our cocktails and the service were both excellent. The cannonball pizza was a bit bland but the wood fire crust was tasty.

We also tried the Black Beard Killa, the rum/elderflower/passion fruit cocktail, and the mojito like drink (sorry, can't remember the names).

She was super friendly and took the time to share all kinds of local tips about the island, which we really appreciated. My wife went with the highly recommended gluten free pizza and the gluten free beer--both were excellent. She was genuinely impressed with how good the pizza tasted, especially since it's hard to find great gluten free options. I had the Mahi sandwich with a side of fries and a really strong drink (just what I needed after a day out in the sun). Everything hit the spot. The atmosphere at The Tap Room was laid-back and welcoming, and you can tell the staff cares about their guests. If you're in St. John and looking for good food, cold drinks, and friendly service, The Tap Room is definitely worth a visit.

Not to mention they did not even have any desserts. An Italian restaurant with not one fish or seafood item, not even one special of the night. So called cocktails Awful! Probably the best item for the price is the pizza for roughly $30 Even if you look at the The Caprice salad you will notice that it basically look like just five slices of tomatoes with five pieces of cheese on it. For the pros there should be some form of a presentation. If you go through past pictures, you'll see how it used to look. I have no trouble coming back, especially if you're sick for a while of going to a fancier restaurant, but I have to tell you it was a little pricey for what you got even though it wasn't as expensive. given places in the past, from other restaurants, it was a nice way of saving a few dollars, you will still save a bit compared to the more expensive restaurant, but not so much.

I agree but if he had listened when taking the order he would have ordered the correct pizza. First he told me its probably on there you just cant see it? There is no ambiance. It's a very small restaurant with tables crammed in. The pizza was horrible. My son ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and it was a very small portion. This was the only restaurant we didn't enjoy in St.John.

Our $19 french dip with 11 onion rings was very good and tided us over until dinner. The service is outstanding and my water was never empty. They use a desalinization pump from the ocean and the water is some of the best I've had in the islands. They have two tv's running news and sports while you wait for your food. It is all outside seating under shaded cover so you won't die in the sun. It is not air conditioned though so if you are struggling with the humidity this is not the place to get away from the heat. Try the gift shop and get some ice cream! The salted caramel scoop is $6.50 and worth every calorie. The grounds are spectacular and you must spend the day enjoying honeymoon beach.

Definitely not a "bargain" as some other places on the island are for lunch, but chances are, if you're staying at the resort, you don't really care too much about a bargain. The staff is friendly, and they make a point (if you're a guest) to refer to you by your name, which is comforting (how did that gal know my name - I had just checked in?). The bartender we had was friendly and attentive and didn't mind so much the request for something that wasn't on the menu (but then again, how hard is Myers's and Pineapple?). The CBB&G also has beach service. Unfortunately, that is where they lose me. The two drinks we ordered from the gal on the beach were hot and they took FOR EVER to get. Food was adequate. I didn't feel too ripped off (after all, this IS a resort), except when I ordered sushi. I think I'm just spoiled by the riches of my favorite Birmingham sushi join (see: http://www.yelp.com/biz/jinsei-sushi-birmingham#hrid:vG7n6leCFicaYWNOqrlE8A). There are other options on the menu, and I mostly opted for the salads, which were creative, when dining there. Overall, a good option if you're a guest of the resort, and just want to throw on your cover up and flops and have a quick bite and a drink. Would I stop there if I were on a sailboat just to go to a beach bar and for the scenery? NO. There are way too many other options around the island.
