This is my go to spot when I come to the north fork. Been coming here for years and have gotten both breakfast and lunch on different occasions. Everything g that I've eaten here has been fresh and delicious. Endless coffee refills. Save room for carrot cake! The menu has a nice variety of options and there are always specials on the boards. There is an extensive drink menu that also offers local wines. Service is top notch - friendly and accommodating. Usually there is a wait, so get yourself on the waitlist and take a stroll through the town while you wait, but they tend to get you in earlier than they predict. read more

Love Love Lane and love Love Lane Kitchen! I've been here 3 times now -once for a to-go lunch order - and the food has been great each time. I've tried 3 different paninis (went halfsies on two), the sweet potato fries (super crispy!), and one of the salads. All great, all made me want to order another of the same thing before I was done with the first. If I had to pick a favorite, it's still the Goat Cheese Panini. I've heard the non-panini options are great too, and the daily specials are always very enticing. The servers are pleasant and willing to make recommendations which is helpful because there are multiple items of interest on their standard menu. They also have a cute self-service coffee bar inside - if you are into coffee. Definitely recommend stopping in for brunch, lunch, or an early dinner if you are local and have yet to try it, or if you are visiting the North Fork and taking a stroll down Love Lane. read more

Came for lunch was able to get right which was great, walked in and the food smelled amazing. Food came quickly had the blackened chicken sandwich which was amazing. My friend has the chicken guacamole bacon sandwich which was delicious too. Both sandwiches came with a simple salad the dressing was light but so good. Try the lavender lemonade it's very refreshing and light you can definitely taste the lavender but it's not over powering. Looking forward to coming back again next time I'm out this way. read more

Cute spot on Love Lane. We were warned about the bees outside but we sat outside because we had our dog. There were a TON of bees which made it hard to eat but we ignored them and luckily didn't get stung. Our food took a while to come out and when it finally came out it looked delicious but both really didn't have any flavor. A little disappointing. read more

Good spot. Cute place. Nice street. Outdoor seating that allows for dogs. Serve your own coffee. Kind wait staff. Not too long wait. The only ok stuff - Only one bathroom with just an air dryer. Not the greatest coffee (some brews better than others - one was very 'diner'). Focaccia sandwich was a little too plain. Same with the breakfast potatoes - they required the hot sauce for flavor. But the bacon was crispy and the pancakes were delicious - the style is thin, not these big cake things (disappointed but again still tasty). Yelp says the wait staff wears masks. They don't. I think that's over. You can pay via qr code but my signal was bad so paid with my credit card. read more

Came to mattituck at 38 weeks pregnant with my husband and our dog as a last minute get away, hoping to try the "best breakfast" at Love Lane Kitchen. Didn't mind the 35 minute wait until it was actually our turn and the "manager" didnt have an outdoor table ready for us even though we CLEARLY walked up with our dog. Offered no solution except to make a 38 week pregnant woman wait another 30-45 minutes for a table. read more

Lovely place It was my first time here. I am starting a fast and there was too much parmesan in my risotto with vegetables like kale and they graciously made a new one. We sat outside on a fairly hot summer day for early dinner. Outside patio was quiet and fairly cool.Have been to Love Lane kitchen before and have always loved the food and experience. Waitress was great. We both ordered the bean burger and virgin specialty drinks called Pretty Bitter and shared truffle parm fries. Fries were delicious. Drinks were so refreshing and delicious. We actually started making them at hime. Burgers were lacking flavor. We've had plenty of bean burgers over the years and these needed a little help, but still enjoyed and everything else we have ever had there was delicious. We definitely will keep going back; it's a great little place. The patio is Dog friendly with water bowls by the tables and there are vegetarian options for those looking. read more

This place was so crowded when we arrived but we were seated very quickly at the bar. It has a mom and pop feel and seems to be adored by the town. It was very crowded but the service was great and servers seemed to enjoy what they do. They had some specials on the board and a pretty large menu. We ordered the the stuffed French toast with a side of eggs and the breakfast bowl scrambled. We had two mimosa which had the perfect champagne orange juice ratio. The fresh mozzarella and cherry tomatoes were good, but the avocado itself shouldn't have been served (not ripe, no taste, and just sliced plain onto the bread). Great food in a cool setting and fun town. Most recent visit, we got the lobster quesadilla special, and the green eggs. The green eggs were very good, but the lobster quesadilla is a showstopper -- I would be pretty sad if we went and this wasn't on the menu. I love this place! I drive out east pretty often and always gawk over how cute love lane sounds but have never turned down the street. So one day we were pretty hungry and I said let's go check out this street and we found this adorable little place. The ambiance is nice, the staff is friendly and the food is great! The first time we went I got the lobster roll with fries, best lobster roll I've ever had. My son got chicken fingers and they were definitely some five star chicken fingers. Can't remember what my husband got but I know he enjoyed it. We recently went again and I got the lobster roll again, although it wasn't as great as the first time, it was still very good and I would get it again. Oh, Love Lane...you are just so adorable and everything I wanted to start my day trip out East. I was in search of a cute breakfast spot, and Love Lane has officially won my heart. I have now been here twice and look forward to coming back many more times. As a matter of fact, I almost took the hour and a half drive there today just for the lemon ricotta pancakes, but I will get to those a little later. The first time K and I came here, we were luckily seated immediately, even though the place was pretty crowded, especially for a weekday around 10:30am. After looking over the menu, we decided to go with the French Toast, the Pastrami Hash, and scrambled eggs. Let me just say, that Pastrami Hash is something else. Big chunks of perfectly seasoned pastrami with tender potatoes, peppers, and onions. Totally hit the spot and made my mouth happy. The french toast was also excellent. You could really taste the vanilla and cinnamon, and the bread was moist and soft. Barely needed any syrup because it was that good! The second time we came here, I was torn between the regular pancakes or the special Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. I ended up going with the Lemon Ricotta, based on the suggestion from the lady sitting next to us. K went with the Rancheros. We obviously also got a side of Pastrami Hash, which we have now learned, one is NOT enough for the both of us. The food quickly came out, and we were ready to dig in. My pancakes, let me just dream about them real quick...Ok, back. They were perfection. They were light, yet almost creamy on the inside from the ricotta. A subtle lemon flavor was in every bite, and I didn't even use syrup on them. They were amazing all on their own. K, who typically despises lemon flavored things, even loved these. He said he should have gotten them, being that he just thought the rancheros were okay. Still, both plates, and the pastrami hash, were cleaned. I look forward to coming back to ya, Love Lane!! Nicole and I always stop by here to get brunch before further exploring the North Fork of Long Island. Usually there is a good amount of street parking depending on the time and day you go. The restaurant is nicely located between some craft stores and quaint shops. I usually get something savory when I come here and the food is generally pretty good.
