It looked like a lot of fun. This place definitely feels like a local hangout. There's a decent selection of beer on tap, of course. There's also a bar bites menu. We opted for the coney dogs ($12), which were huge and were smothered in a sweet chili. Very good. We also shared a plate of the dirty chips ($12), which are basically nachos made with kettle chips instead of tortilla chips. Also a good choice. If pub fare isn't your thing, the bartender said they don't object to you bringing your own food. Trade is located across the street from OxBow so there are plenty of food options if you want to go that route.

The nearest dispensary of frosty adult beverages was Trade Brewing where I found a decently comfortable space, free wifi and a tasty brew. I was here for 90 minutes and in that time, I participated in two Facebook arguments and wrote four Yelp reviews while sipping away at two of Trade's delicious beers. Good stuff! This is a busy neighborhood and I was very fortunate to find a street parking space almost right in front. As the day moved into dinner hours, it got packed. When I left at 5:30, someone swooped in and grabbed my parking space as soon as I moved out. [Review 17569 overall - 365 in California - 1087 of 2022.]

Unfortunately, the service went downhill from there. After being seated, we waited about 25 minutes before finally flagging down a waiter to ask if we were even in his section. His first explanation was that they were going through a shift change. However, I couldn't help but notice that he was actively serving the other tables around us while seemingly avoiding ours. Later, we were told he was new and didn't know much about the drink menu, but that didn't explain the lack of attention throughout the meal. After we finally placed our order, our food arrived before our drinks. During the rest of the meal, our server never checked on us, never asked if we needed refills, and never followed up to see how everything was. We felt completely overlooked. As for the food, it was subpar and didn't make up for the poor service. This was our first time visiting Napa Valley from the East Coast, so we were excited to try a local brewery. Unfortunately, this wasn't the experience we were hoping for, since we have plenty back home. I wish I had read the reviews before dining here. I can only speak from my experience, but I'd recommend future diners manage their expectations and decide for themselves before visiting.

I hadn't had a pretzel from this place in years, but just one bite and fully enjoyed it as much as when I was a teen. I definitely need to make this a regular stop when coming into Santa Rosa. The staff was great. Trying to get everyone's orders without much wait time. The crew in The back were bagging up all the fresh pretzels as fast as they could. I'm ready to go back for another pretzel!

My son grabbed a pretzel sample and the kid that walked up said ONLY ONE BRO!! Which sounds so disrespectful and rude. There are other ways to say things. My son said oh sorry I can only have one, and he said yes there's a sign, which when I looked down there was a sign laying down which nobody's gonna see it. Granted it was in Spanish, first of all, we don't read Spanish and second of all if there's multiple employees there is at least seven employees They weren't busy. Somebody should've been handed them out. My son proceeded to ask how do I just throw it away and he said no pointed to the boy and told him to put it back granted, my son is not a child. He is an adult that was shopping with me. I'm surprised my son handled it so well because I was livid. That is unsanitary and I hope that they don't do that all the time. Nobody knows where it peoples hands have been. He could've worded it differently or said yeah, just for future not be rude and disrespectful and then turn around and say something to his fellow employees and laugh. I have frequent tend Wetzel since I do work in the mall since they opened many many years ago and I've never been treated so poorly. These are the people they hire. This is sad assuming that everybody speaks different languages. It should not be in one language I do know Annie the manager and Alex, the owner I have dealt with for years. If This is the type of treatment they're going to give and the type of people they hire then I choose not to go there again. I would give a zero for review if it allowed me too.

The food is still as delicious as ever, and the staff is more than happy to guide you through their extensive menu to find the perfect dish that suits your taste buds. One of the standout features of The Speisekammer is its large screen TVs, making it an ideal spot to watch the World Cup soccer matches. The cocktails are equally impressive, expertly crafted and bursting with flavor. During the fall, The Speisekammer truly comes alive with Oktoberfest celebrations. They throw an extravagant German party that is unlike any other in the East Bay. The outdoor patio is a great place to enjoy the beautiful weather and socialize with friends. I highly recommend The Speisekammer for anyone looking for a fun and delicious German dining experience. I plan to return soon to catch some soccer matches with friends and soak in the lively atmosphere.

It's tucked away in an unassuming neighborhood, but once inside, the cozy, rustic atmosphere really adds to the experience. We ordered the pretzel, bratwurst, and chicken schnitzel. The portions were generous especially the schnitzel, which was huge and easily shareable. Everything was flavorful and well prepared. The curry beer cheese sauce paired especially well with the pretzel, with just a slight bitterness that complemented the bread nicely. One thing to note for anyone who doesn't eat pork: the roasted potatoes contain bacon. I didn't realize that when ordering, so I just picked it out. The pickled vegetables were a pleasant surprise. they were tangy and refreshing without being overly salty. For dessert, we shared the German chocolate cake. It was rich, decadent, and a very generous slice. My husband also really enjoyed the beer selection, which had plenty of German options to choose from. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely come back. As a bonus, even my toddler loved his chicken schnitzel and nearly finished the whole thing, which says a lot!
