Went to this green food truck on a Thursday while they were parked next to Bank of America! Plenty of parking around in the morning. This was such a fluffy cinnamon roll, it was sweet but not overwhelming so. And not as stiff as other cinnamon rolls can be. This might be the fluffiest one I've ever had! I randomly had a sweet craving of something and Kingpin Cinnamon Rolls was the first thing that popped up when I opened the Yelp app. Thankfully I was in the area and thankfully they weren't closed or sold out yet. Keep in mind, they are a food truck, so I suggest following their Instagram to know their exact locations, times, etc. I made my way to their location and omg, I went at a good time because I think they only had 3 or 4 Cinnamon Rolls left!! Let me tell you- these rolls are HUGE!!! I was so amazed with the size and how soft the roll tasted! After one bite, I wanted to keep going but that would have been selfish of me lol It's $10 a roll but it's soooo worth it! They put a generous amount of icing which coats every bite you take. The roll was sweet and not "omg way too sweet." The texture of the roll, like I said, was soft. Literally melts in your mouth! Your tastebuds will be dancing and thanking you! Enter Kingpin Cinnamon Rolls. I saw a social media post on Instagram about them and of course, had to investigate. After two days of investigation I can boldly claim this is the best cinnamon roll I've ever had. And I don't think 2nd place is anywhere close to this. The owner is friendly, the product is insanely good, and he will scrape up additional frosting from the pan and layer it over your roll as he packages it. I just had my second roll from them and can safely say I'll be a regular now. Check them out on Instagram for locations-- as it varies-- but I'm hard-pressed to imagine a better cinnamon roll out there.
