I'm pretty sure this is korean owned since both waitresses and sushi chefs are korean. I came here 2 days in a row. First night was with 2 other coworkers. We over estimated ourselves and under estimated the portions...they're hUGE! I only love salmon, but their albacore is alright. I'm not into eating saucy, "creative" rolls. I just eat salmon by itself, soy sauce and wasabi. But their salmon grade is not bad. Fatty and buttery I came the next night ..by myself..HAHA. My mom and her best friend took my daughter out for a grandma day yesterday, so obviously their first stop was for sushi. I was a bit disappointed I would be missing out on this part, so I asked my mom to bring me home something yummy. She certainly did not disappoint! The presentation of the firecracker app was stunning, but the taste can't even be accurately described. The tempura rolls were great as were the gyoza. The tempura is delicate and understated. It isn't fluff or heavily battered! The price is great and the food is always good! We try to eat there every time we come back to Simi! The Lyons and 911 roll are the best! So so good! I REALLY love their tempura green tea ice cream! They have an awesome deal on large beers and hot sake! Buy 2 large beers and a large hot sake, get every even numbered beer for 5 cents! Totally worth it! Do you have in this place five stars because the food was delicious! Prices were really good and the fish was very fresh tasting. We had six different rules and we were really happy with all of them. Love the house salad and the rainbow roll! My friend said the salmon was delicious and I loved the crab roll. The house salad is absolutely yummy and I highly recommend it. The people who work here were very friendly and the place was quite busy. Our food was served within 10 minutes and we were starving so we were also really happy with that. I had a horrible experience today. I came to this restaurant for lunch and the waitress said to me while I was getting the check that I needed to lose weight and go on a diet. I was in the mood for sushi, so my husband (who isn't the biggest fan of sushi) and I stopped on our way home. The staff was great, and really accommodated the COVID-19 restrictions flawlessly. As we arrived home, my husband had nothing but the highest complements for the Ramen he promptly consumed. The price was excellent (given the current discounted costs). I realize how difficult it is to be a restaurant during these troubling times, and although sushi is best enjoyed inside the establishment, Love Sushi did an amazing job of providing the best quality and service possible in a to-go experience. Alright, so there is a very specific dining experience I love at a sushi place and this one is 5 stars based on being the closest to that near here. If you just order your things each and eat and leave this might not be the best quality mark. I like to order a beer with pals, an appetiser or two and a roll or two and then once the beers start to empty order more and share and everyone try everything and buy too much and enjoy myself until I finish off with some terriyaki and rice or whatever. Their appetizers here are just better than most, especially shishito peppers. They're more attentive, or at least easier to flag down. Their simple cut rolls like cucumber avocado etc etc come out faster and are always good enough. They bring the little extras asked for swiftly. And in the end there are shops around to wander there, across the street, and on the other side of the buildings. Really recommend "Albacore belly sashimi" Fish's very fresh and blend well with their sauce. I also try their poki hand roll, happy hand roll, and monster hand roll; all delicious. They have big menu, many choices and selections of roll. I only get a chance to try dragon roll and white love roll. I definitely come back to try other dishes. They also have happy hour from 2.30-5.00 pm and 7-8.30 pm. Nasty lady who takes orders Please stay away from this place ..The plates we were given has left over soy sauce in them (not a little dried stuff, no... I'm talking a light brown still-sloshy liquid). My husbands beer came in a cracked beer flute that had garbage and ash caked on the bottom of the glass. The sushi was extremely bad quality, the avocado was brown, the meat was rotten, and the soup i ordered had a nasty film on it. The bowl of soup was also cracked. We normally don't complain and are certainly not snobbish, so we were prepared to chalk up this experience as a fluke... Well.... While waiting for check we started looking at the walls. We counted, literally, over a dozen roaches crawling on the walls and all over the wooden sushi boats. I have video and photos, as does my husband. We reported this to the server, and explained our disgust and immediate nausea. We explained how this was a health code violation, we could get very sick, and we obviously would not be taking any leftovers home. The server stated they were told they had to be closed but decided to open their doors anyhow. We were absolutely floored. The server disappeared for a while and eventually was sent back alone to tell us the best he could do was a 10% discount. We told him to go get the manager. Eventually the manager came to us (15 minutes have passed since we noticed the roaches). The manager was rude, condescending, flippant, and insisted that since we already ate the food, there was nothing he could do. Then we pointed to the roaches on the wall, which he then saw and the sushi staff saw. We explained that we ate the food before noticing their infestation and that this experience and the risks associated with it were extremely bad. They shrugged it off, but after we let them know that we are aware of the health hazards of roaches and that we have video, the manager reluctantly took our bill from us and refunded our entire meal.  Teaks used to be a great place to go. It used to be busy and loud, and hell - you used to sometimes need to call ahead to make reservations. It has been, by far, the absolute worst dining experience I have every had. Ever. Please do yourself a favor and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. read more

I know now to always order my rolls with no sauce or light sauce. I've been to Love Sushi in Santa Clarita several times in the past, and I was really hoping I would get the same quality food at this Love Sushi, but I didn't. The quality of the fish just wasn't fresh and it was just taste less. They advertise a happy hour menu, but only have a few selections which are only discounted by a dollar or two. The service was initially good. We got seated right away and our server was friendly. Our food took a little longer than usual to come out, and there weren't many people in the restaurant. There is plenty of parking in this plaza, so you'll have no problem finding a spot. I was hoping to have my sushi craving satisfied by coming to Love Sushi, but I'm sad to report that wasn't the case. Not sure that I'll be coming back to this location. read more

Not quite sure how they get their method for recipes. Pack a whole lot of different stuff into one roll and all the flavors conflict with each other. You end up with a very large portion of blaaw. So you now have power down a large portion of yuck. Try using the less us more theory. Learn to perfect the basics first. The Albacore when served was nasty!! Smelt like week old un-refrigerated fish bait. Against my better judgement I tried it and did everything not gag as the chef was watching me try it. This is no over exaggeration. It was that bad.
