I have been feeding Love Your Pet Bakery's raw food for years. Great nutrition, Natural, Organic, additional nutrients. These products are exceptional. We also kept dry food out... Very natural type. Our 2 Gernan Shepherds were scratching and no success with our holistic vets. The thought was food allergy... How? We stopped the dry food and 1 month later. No scratching. Learned my lesson. Ok, so I'm one of those crazy pet people and this is going to prove it... Whenever I leave town I always have to get my dogs a locally made treat from a pet store, because I feel bad for leaving them.... Anyways, this place has a lot of cool really high end, good quality pet supplies. They also have some cool photos of the ski patrol dogs (which the money actually goes back to the patrol team) and art work made by a local-ish artist. The owner of this place is an awesome guy too. I started talking to him when I was checking out with my bag of treats and he seems very interesting! He makes his own treats and wild game jerky, which he ended up giving me a free packet. The dogs loved the biscuits and the jerky was so good that my cat was willing to take on the dogs for a piece! read more

Finn was suffering from all kinds of skin allergies and digestive issues and even a malignant mass that needed removing. After having him allergy tested and finding there were so many foods he could not eat, I went on a search for the highest quality food I could find that was pure raw wild meat with no additives. We visit the shop when we are in town. We admit sometimes just to see "The Boys" (the three Newfoundlands that own the store. Yesterday we went in and no dogs but we got to spend a few minutes with Valarie who gave us a few samples of the homemade dog cookies. Wow, so delicious, yes we did eat them since they are all natural and made with healthy non-wheat contents that are very healthy for dogs. They have great dog and cat stuff, not just food. My wife and I were just in Park City for the weekend,and found(Love Your Pet)They have a great selection of beautiful things for your Dog(or cat)and Doug the owner(I think with his wife)could not be nicer,We ended up getting some of the baked cookies and he explained they were (human quality)and insisted we try one and it was amazing,We had a hard time giving any to the dogs LOL.If your in Park City and you have a dog or cat Love Your Pet is a must visit!!!!!! read more

I am a huge supporter of Love Your Pet! I started my two boxers, Ali and Kira, on the raw meat diet and saw almost immediate results! Their fur was softer, they had a lot more energy, and lost weight! They loved the food and the jerky was a huge hit! Now I have a beautiful female cat who also is on the raw meat diet and she loves it! I also use vitamins provided by Love Your Pet to help curb Kitty's appetite! The owners are very knowledgeable and happy to spend time talking to customers who need guidance. The shop is welcoming and has tons of beautiful art and other assorted goodies for fur babies! This place has really, really beautiful stuff. Some may think it is expensive but for someone like me whose dog is their kid, it is well worth it. Their collars and dog wares are high quality stuff and last forever. They also have the most sterling silver dog tags, I liked it so much I got one for my dog and one for my keyring. read more

This pet store is bar none one of the coolest in the country. I absolutely loved meeting Apollo, a large black Newfoundland who was plopped down, smack dab center in the middle of the store, drool and all abundant and dangling in strands from his chin fur. The hand crafted, bejeweled dog collars are unique and one of a kind. High quality leather and stones, including Swarovski crystals in some instances, are used in their fabrication, and can be matched to suit color preferences and individual requests. The store also houses coolers chock full of homemade, organic dog foods, that contain ingredients, i.e. copper river salmon. If I lived anywhere near in proximity to Park City, Utah - I would most certainly switch my dog to eating this curiousity rousing, homemade dog food; heck I might even eat it also (well, maybe)... We visited Love Your Pet for our Golden Retriever. They have adorable leashes and collars and they also have a great selection of dog treats that are unique to the area! The owner, Doug, had two Newfoundlands named Ferguson and Atlas in the store with him. They were the sweetest dogs ever! He even let us take them on a long walk along the creek in the back. The atmosphere was great- it felt unique and family owned. I highly recommend it! read more

Great store dedicated to the well being of dogs. Valarie has lived her life dedicated to promoting the well-being of dogs, cats and horses. All of her energy and day-to-day efforts are devoted to taking care of animals. She is compassionate, caring, smart, communicative but also has amazing follow-through. She will go above and beyond to followup and make sure your pet is thriving on the food/vitamins and products. Since using the food & vitamins my german shepherds have thrived. In an industry that is getting bigger and more profitable, the store still gives the personal attention to each pet that you would hope for. Products are all organic developed with the freshest, LOCAL ingredients. My dogs love the products and have thrived on them for years. My wife and I feed our two dogs Love Your Pet's excellent, prepared raw food, and couldn't be happier with the quality and results. Our dogs have food allergies, and we had struggled to find something they could eat and enjoy. This is hands down the best pet store in the state! I don't even know where to begin. When you walk in, there are usually 2-3 gigantic black dogs chilling out on the floor. Sometimes they look up with a friendly greeting but mostly they are just relaxed. I like that vibe. I had just gotten an english bulldog puppy, very high maintenance breed - and the owner was so knowledgable - he knew tons of details about the breed and was therefore able to honestly suggest certain products when I was still new and unsure about it all. They have the best natural food, jerky, bones, etc everything that are wonderful for any dog with a temperamental digestive system. I got a custom made leather studded collar and a beautiful leather braided lead, and still have not found such high end comparable products at any other store. Since Park City is in the snow - they also have a great selection of warm pet fashion, everything from the frilly pink stuff I stay away from to the rugged shearling leather jackets. Who knew? My dog developed health issues when he was 6 months old. He's now 5 and feeding him has always been difficult. He has numerous food sensitivities, and on top of that is the pickiest eater EVER. Six months ago, a friend recommended we try Love Your Pet Raw food. I was hesitant at first, because I had already tried all the top rated raw dog foods, without success and I couldn't imagine how Love Your Pet's raw food could be any different. Well, I'm so happy to have been wrong. I could tell the difference as soon as I opened the first package. It looked and smelled as fresh as anything I buy for myself at Whole Foods Market. The texture was amazing. Other brands of raw felt icy or mushy because of water content, were discolored from freezer burn, and smelled like chemicals; but Love Your Pet's raw felt and smelled like fresh meat. For the first time in his life, my picky dog, LOVED his food. Within just a few days, he had noticeably more energy, less scratching, and no more watery eyes. By the end of 30 days, his coat had become significantly thicker and shinier. Because of my dogs health issues, he see's his vet and has blood drawn regularly. He had been eating Love Your Pet raw for about 6 weeks, when it was time for a checkup. His vet was amazed by his transformation, both externally and with his blood tests. That seems so long ago now, but my dog continues to LOVE meal time, his coat is amazing, and he is healthier and more energetic than he has ever been in his life thanks to Love Your Pet's raw dog food. Love Your Pet makes the best raw food I have ever bought for my dogs! It has the best meat sources and wholesome recipes that I have been able to find. I used to home cook all foods for my dogs, until I found Love Your Pet products and now let Valerie do the making. I have been feeding Love Your Pet foods for 10 years and started feeding it to my dogs raw. Now, over the years as my dogs have gotten older, I just cook the raw food, as they can process the cooked food easier. When your dogs are as special to you as mine are, you want to feed them the very best foods you can find and Love Your Pet foods are the best I can find. I am not am amateur when it comes to nutrition for dogs, I have a veterinary technician degree and have taken many college courses in nutrition trying to gain the most knowledge I could regarding feeding my dogs. Hands down, you will not find a better product. And the raw bones and treats that they make are the bomb too! I live in Colorado and not Utah so still feed this food and pay for shipping to get the food to my home. We have even vacationed in Park City twice and always go to the store when we are there so we have been able to meet Valerie in person.
