We hired Lovely Layers for our wedding. Of course, ahead of time, we met with the owner to discuss what we wanted. While we were talking she mentioned that she had a ton of wooden crates and decor we could use. She would drop it off in a Tupperware bin and then we would just return it. We got to taste the flavors we were interested in, and the prices seemed decent. The day of the wedding, the person who delivered did not ask anyone where to place everything. She ended up putting them in the wrong spot. Then when asked to move them where we wanted them, she said she didn't have enough time because she had other deliveries. On top of that, she didn't bring any decor, only used what we already had. When it came time to eat the cupcakes, no one had a clue what flavors were available. I assumed she would have small labels, or something to let guests know flavors. Now it is almost our one year anniversary, and we go in to order our cake (a month in advance), and we are told that they are booked and can't do it. I am extreme disappointed in this company. As my father runs his own small business, I cannot even imagine how they are turning business away. From now on, I will be using other bakeries around town. I suggest anyone who would like custom orders for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, etc. find somewhere else to go as well. read more

Ordered a cake for my 1 year old. After my sibling picked it up and brought it home, it was nothing like what I initially ordered. I called and the guy would not let me speak to the manager. I was very unsatisfied that they couldn't do something for me, at least a gift card or something! Worst customer experience ever! Obviously your staff cannot handle any communication! I ordered a cake and cupcakes for my son's first baby shower and had an inspiration piece I shared with them to give them an idea of the "wow factor" I was looking for. I don't feel like I got exactly what I went in for. I asked for a two-tier and got a single tier. They were very clear they do not do specialty designs anymore now that they do NOT have a cake artist who can do fondant-type work. So I had to settle for very simple choices (polka dots). I still went with them anyway. Cake flavor was ok. Color was off (supposed to be gray but looked a little more purple once it was outside in the light) and I had to buy my own topper from etsy. When I arrived to pick up the cake and cupcakes I received a single tier, not a two tier. My fault was not being knowledgable of costs and I SHOULD HAVE REALIZED they did not charge me for two tiers, only one. I bought everything for over $130 and just assumed the staff person calculated it correctly. I should have asked for a better breakdown. I gave a 3 because flavor was good but it was a dissapointing miss for the wow factor I wanted. read more

Saw this store on doordash and couldn't say no to the maple glazed cinnamon roll. I have to say the croissant breakfast sandwich I got was not worth 8$, the bacon was over cooked and it had something similar to Kraft cheese on it. The cinnamon roll was huge and delicious but a little dry & I wish it had more maple like the picture showed. Overall wasn't the best but I would give them another shot read more

I ordered a cake about a week ago for my daughter-in-law's 40th birthday I paid for in advance over the phone. I came yesterday to pick it up at approximately 2 to 3 minutes after 4:00 PM they close at four. I understand that this is my error but I received no phone call when I went to pick it up today the day after the party Young man apologized and said they usually call 30 minutes before they close but this cake was in a different refrigerator. As I said I know that it is mostly my air for not paying attention to the time But a discount on the next Cake we purchased would have been nice.
