I started coming here because of a Groupon. It was something like a gel manicure for $15 with one design on each hand. You can get designs on your other nails for a dollar each. This is now my go-to nail salon. The gel here lasts much longer than other nail salons. I can keep them on for up to three weeks, by then the gel starts getting caught at the bottom because it's grown out. I went on a trip out of the country and got my nails done there, and they convinced me to get acrylic which I've never had before. I'm really glad I did, because my nails survived Costa Rica and Vegas. I know if I had gotten gel they wouldn't have lasted. I've gotten pedicures here too, and they're pretty good. This salon gets PACKED on weekends, so if you don't want to wait a while you have to get there early. If you try to make an apointment I guarantee you that you will have to wait. You get what you pay for. I like this place but know that in the summer there's a lot of people and even with an appointment you'll have to wait. The nail techs do a really great job with designs too. read more

Emily's salon is lovely. I was fortunate to have her, the salon owner, as my manicurist since it was just her on that slow Wednesday morning. She took her time to help me pick the color and was very gentle, thorough, and detailed with her work. She assured that her other manicurist are just as good. I'm glad a found a good local salon that I can just walk to. I will do a follow up review after a few more visits. read more

i wish i could give negative stars for this one. Okay to start off the lady that did my nails was RUDE. i got a full set and she kept smudging the nail polish and there were HUGE holes in it so i would ask her to fix it very nicely and she would roll her eyes and grunt at me. then i told her i wanted a design and she quotes me one price then goes "oh nail design ten extra dollars" after she already did it......i was not happy. So i wait under this fan for ten minutes or whatever it is and my nails are still wet so i wait again and when i pull them out theres still holes in them. but at this point im too irritated to have her fix the damn polish so i leave the next day....in the MORNING....the tip of my nail FELL OFF. completley came off in the shower. my nail was still intact underneath and everything she just didnt glue it enough or something but then as the day went on 2 more nails came off! at that point i just wripped them all off and said id never go back to this damn place again read more

Meh. That's how I sum up this service in one word. I'll start with the pros first. - The shop was clean. - It was slow for some reason on an early Sat afternoon so I was seated pretty quickly. I would hope so since I had an appointment but sometimes that doesn't matter at nail shops. - The girl who helped me was pretty polite besides the out loud comments/questions about my dry cuticles & twice TOLD me I bite my nails after I advised I did not & my cuticles have been dry my whole life. She was not discreet about it & drew attention from others. It was not tactful & pretty insensitive. - They had a great assortment of gel colors to choose from. Cons: - I don't know if it's because I had a Groupon or if this particular nail tech (wish I asked her name) is always like this but this was the most rushed manicure I've ever had & because of that... - You can see through my color on multiple nails. - My last minute hand/arm massage felt like a 10 year old was performing it. It was fast, rough & lasted about 15 secs on each side. - I showed her a photo of what I wanted and due to her rushed job, it's sloppy & not what I asked for. Again, it looks like an amateur did it. (Please see attached pics) Also, not as big of deal but I assume they must be busy at times because they doubled up on nail stations on each row so you're basically sitting right smack dab next to a stranger, practically in their lap while trying to get a relaxing mani. God forbid, she had me sit in one of the other many open stations instead of warm & uncozy next to someone else. That would be cool if you came in with a friend or something. Oh and parking sucks! Barely any spaces for a multi-business complex. The rental car company takes up most of it. I won't be going back. read more

I got my nails done here for the first time last night. My niece, 6 years old, comes and gets her nails painted here. So I thought I would give it a try. I'll start with everyone is very nice and the place itself is very clean. I'm pretty sure the man who did my nails was new though. The other techs kept coming and checking on him and my nails saying things in Vietnamese. I didn't think anything of it, until my nails were finished. 3 of my fingers have cuts on them. 2 of my nails are a lot longer than the others. The acrylic is lumpy and I have air bubbles in a couple of them. The only reason I tipped them was bc my niece goes there a lot and I didn't want them to treat her any differently. I won't get my nails done here again. read more

My previous rating was a 5, but after today I had to re-evaluate that. Today, my experience was a 1 so it averages out to a 3. It hurts my heart to write this because the shop owner is always so sweet. However, the younger nail tech I had today was seriously the most rude and impolite person I have ever encountered in this industry. It started from the first 3 minutes of being in the store. They said they could take us as walk-ins which was wonderful! But as I was deciding on a nail color for my gel manicure the woman insisted that I look at the colors while she was removing my previous color. I personally like to look before hand because it is easier for me to maneuver the colors and for me to match my skin color so I said that I would like to wait just a few more minutes. She gave me a "sigh" accompanied by an eye roll. Okay, no big deal... I can deal with that. Then, after she soaked off my color, I looked at the color pallets one more time. She harshly grabbed my hand away from what I was doing and said, "I don't have time for this!" as she began to roughly scrape my nail bed. Wow... Rude. I know they had time for me, we walked in at 4pm and their website says they close at 7pm. It quickly became clear that I was not her priority, but I can still deal with it. Plus, I was a little in shock that she actually ripped my hand away from what I was doing. Next, she grabbed the nail polish I picked and mentioned it was mood changing polish... Wait, what? No... I need a professional color for a conference this Monday, not a teeny-bopper neon pink. So I asked to change the color. She was okay with it, and I picked another. Then this color didn't match the swatch. It was a light pink on the sample and a neon pink in the bottle. No thank you... I can't have that color. She was not happy with me. She said, "Well this is the color YOU picked." Um, no. That is not how this works. I couldn't take this anymore. I had to tell her "I am sorry, and I know it is the color I picked, but it does not match the swatch and I do not want this color on my nails if it is this bright!" She gave me a big sigh, and eye roll, and an "Oh my god." I spent a few more minutes looking for a color that actually matched the swatch, and had to go through another neon color mismatch until I found one that was professional that I liked. She then said sarcastically, "Is THIS the color you want? Are you happy NOW?" I just cant believe how rude she was. I am home now and a few of my nails feel tacky, like they did not dry right. I think this is because she was rushed and did not want to spend any extra time for another 60 second UV light treatment. I really hope they don't peel in the next few days because I do not want to go back and deal with her if they need to be fixed. I guess I am just really disappointed with her attitude towards me. I know I was not being the easiest customer that ever walked through their doors, however I was by no means being crazy unreasonable or in any way deserving of her treatment towards me. I come here for the price, but if this happens again it might not be worth coming back for the $5 difference. Maybe next time I will only book an appointment with the owner since I know she is nice. read more

This place was HORRIBLE! They were in such a hurry(even though they weren't even busy) that they cut 2 of my toes really bad! My big toe is swollen twice it's size and they took over 20 minutes just to try to get it to stop bleeding...now I'm walking around with a bruised toe and a poorly painted pedi. Then they had the nerve to still charge me! So, basically I paid to get injured??? Nope! Went back and demanded my money back. Sad, because this was supposed to be a good experience for my daughter's 10th birthday...NEVER will I go there again! They don't even deserve 1 star! read more

I have to say my nails look nice and there are no cuts or fungus so far. Scary right? I'm not sure where the girl that did my nails got the tools to do my nails (I'm praying that they were sanitized before they got to me) but I do know that one of the other worker took the nail tool that was used on me and rinsed it under the sink and then used it on her client's pedicure.! No bleach or alcohol dip or sanitizing box?! Timing sucks. I was scheduled to start around 4:40-5pm. Well when I got there I had to wait 30 more minutes before they got to me. What's the point of scheduling then. I have two more certificates to use so if I do go back I'll make sure I see where she gets the tools or make her use alcohol or bleach before she touches my nails. I will admit the girl that did my nails was really nice but all four girls kept talking really loud a to each other in Vietnamese. A little annoying... read more

I have had lots of pedicures, but this was by far the best! $30 you get the full treatment, scrub, mask, paraffin, aaaaaahhhhhmazing massage and Julie is very funny and friendly. It's too bad this place is not where I live... I will be back for sure next time I'm in town! I don't know how this place can get a bad review, though I only got a pedicure. But it seems clean and is just like any other nail salon. Definitely no complaints here. read more

I've been back a few more times and the service was great. I stopped calling in and just walked in. The key is going on an odd day like a Monday morning. I think one lady is the owner and she has been really nice and forthcoming. I WOULD come in here again even without a groupon. If I'm in the area and need a gel manicure, I will be back for sure. read more

This shop used to be called Star Hair and Nails. I've been going here on and off for 7 years for gel manicures and eye brow wax. They used to be AMAZING! Most of the techs knew me and my kids and took great care of us. I've watched owners and techs rotate out. And slowly stopped getting gel manicures and started doing my nails at home. I went for a gel manicure/pedicure 2 weeks ago and they were giving all their customers a coupon for $15 gel manicures. I wasnt fully pleased with the manicure, it did start peeling and lifting a week later but i went back to use my coupon 2 weeks later to get a new color. HOPING this would be better. NOPE. While my nails soaked off the gel, she offered to cut my boyfriends hair. She said it wouldnt take long so we agreed. When she finally got back to me and started my gel base coat, it was LUMPY. I asked her to get the base coat off and it just worse from there. She didnt even shape my nails right or even! And i still have old gel polish on my nails. Then she blamed me for it taking long because she cut my boyfriends hair. Another lady offered to fix and finish me and i just wanted to go. And then they both started making excuses for not being able to apply a nice base coat. I was so done and told them they should accept responsibility for a bad job and the younger lady called me rude and disrespectful. I then mentioned that they probably give $15 gel manicure coupons to everyone cuz they know they aren't good at them. She got mad at me (i didnt care at that point) and called me disrespectful again. I paid for my boyfriends hair cut and my 2 daughters regular polish change (along with a $5 tip for the lady who did the kids nails) and left. My nails look horrible now and I literally cried in my car. Plus there are cuts near my cuticles now so they hurt now too. ETA: my boyfriend just brought to my attention that the lady cleaned up half his face but didn't do the other side!!! I CAN NOT BELIEVE THIS! read more

I've been here at least 3 times for pedicures and had different nail technicians every time. All 3 did a fantastic job. I especially wanted to write a review today because when I got here, the nail techs were working on a very difficult and unreasonable customer. I felt so bad for the woman who was doing her pedicure. The customer was ranting and raving and cussing. I thought about leaving because I didn't want all that tension to ruin my experience, but I decided to stay. I didn't want to punish them for this other customer's rude behavior. I'm glad I stayed. The way they handled this difficult situation was very professional and soon the customer finally just shut up (thank goodness) I definitely will continue to come to this salon. Thankfully the rude customer swore she was "never coming back again". To that I say "good riddance!" read more

Would NOT recommend this place. I went here bc of the reviews on Yelp and they had a Groupon, so I decided to try it. I got my nails done the Friday before last, before my trip to Vegas. I noticed just 3 days later (Monday) that my nails started to chip. I was disappointed bc these are gel. It's only been a week, and my nails are officially chipped. It's just the white-colored ones. I feel like they mixed regular nail polish in or watered the gel polish down. Ridiculous. I will not come back. Businesses typically use services like Groupon and Living Social to get business, but they did a horrible job. NOT worth it. read more

Just got a gel manicure and am so disappointed! I usually feel great after getting my nails done, but this time just feels horrible. Here are the many reasons I will not be returning: 1. There just aren't enough colors! I wanted a beige but didn't see anything I liked. 2. Lady that did my nail painted over towel particles stuck to my nail. It's all rigid looking! 3. I showed the manicurist the picture of what I wanted which clearly showed glitter polish and she didn't even put any on. 4. She told me I was finished without my hand massage. Ugh. Just so sad. :( read more

Came in a couple days ago along with an appt and was seated right away. Service was good, Tina was the one who did my nails. I told her what I wanted and she went right to it. I highly recommend her becomes she is super nice and very accommodating. And for the most part she has passion at what she does. I was amazed and very satisfied on how my nails turned out. I will definitely be coming back for Tina. Oh and btw there have a 20% off for grand opening up till the end of this month so ladies take advantage! read more

Warm sunny Tuesday and I wanted to go pamper myself. I search Groupon for nail deals once again after 3 horrible experiences, but I figure this would should be okay because I have learned my lesson by looking up reviews before buying a Groupon for nail service. Usually you get what you pay for or businesses sell Groupons because they are not doing so well. I came in and there were only 2 other customers. Moon the nail technician helped me. I bought a Groupon for the gel nails and one free design. I decided that I only wanted the gel nails because I didn't want to take the chance of having a person not know how to do designs and mess up my entire nail. She spent an hour on my gel manicure and took her time, she did not rush at all and I loved that. Usually nail technicians rush because they want to help the next customer or they don't care because a Groupon was bought before hand. She painted my nails very well, the one most important thing for gel nails to last long is for the polish to not touch your skin, they did not touch my skin! This is the longest gel manicure I have ever had, it lasted me 15 days, and they usually only last me 5 days. I have had 4 previous gel manicures and they all lasted only about 5 days. I work in a restaurant and touch water constantly. IT WAS AMAZING! She shaped my nails perfectly how I wanted them, almond shape. I loved it so much I bought the 3 set deal on Groupon a week later. I did check the prices and a gel manicure is listed at $30. My first good review of a Groupon purchase for nail service. KUDOS to Star Hair and Nails, especially to MOON!! read more

Pros: I didn't have to wait like some of the other reviewers and the salon was nice and clean Cons: although the woman who did my nails took her time (which seemed like it would be a good thing), the edges were terrible and the gel started the coming off process at around a week and a half after I got them done. Usually (for me) they don't start peeling until well after 2 weeks and it usually takes some effort to get them off. I haven't hit the 2 week mark yet and they're starting to peel off very easily! Overall, not impressed, disappointed, and I'm glad that I didn't pay full price or buy more than one from Groupon :/ read more

She has done wonders for the hair growth on my legs! I came to her with hair growth so messed up (from a not so great wax from another individual) that it was a wonder how she was able to wax my legs in the first place. There were short, but wax able hair, medium hair and oh my long kinda hair. After the first two sessions she was able to help the hair growth so that my hairs grow around the same time. Her technique has been so amazing that you really don't feel the hairs being pulled out. She's also done wonders on my ingrown hairs. True, I'll still get them every now and then, but April has been wonderful about helping with those too! She's also the only I can trust with my brazillians! I've been to a lot of different people and after about two years searching I found April and not willing to let her go (I truly hope I don't sound like some crazed stalking fan girl, but she's that good!)! She's helped me with all the ingrown and hair growth problems there too (yeah, a bit TMI, but meh....my hair just doesn't like me some times....probably from all the torment I've put it through). If you've ever wanted to try waxing or even getting a facial, I highly recommend going to April. She's a sweet and knowledable person. She's one who'll talk with you so it gets your mind off the process that's happening with a wax. She's also really good with hard wax! Highly recommend that to those still having the strips being ripped from you. She's helped me with some of my acne problems and again isn't one to push products and is willing to let you sample some of her higher end stuff. If you can't afford that she'll think of some of the over the counter products that you can get at a local Walmart or Target. She's also one that works with anyone's budget. Look through her services and ask her about anything you're not sure about. It's easy to book with her too!

I loved the wax specialist Xenia I found before but unfortunately she moved. I rescheduled with a much younger girl named Bella and it wasn't great. To start, the first thing she shared about her day was the tips were really good today and she hopes it continues. Which already made me feel off. The wax was really hot, she constantly broke sticks when applying (I mean the entire time) and I didn't realize until a few days after, she didn't wax everything. There were little small areas left. Super disappointed. No longer coming to this location. It's not worth it.

I left feeling like the areas that actually needed attention were not really addressed. The experience itself felt a bit awkward overall. My masseuse was sitting down during the massage and working in a shared space where there was foot traffic and people walking back and forth. Overall I can only speak for this specific service, but for the Palm and Sole massage I personally would not recommend it.

My facial was very soothing and relaxing she notified me of what she was doing and using on my face and also suggesting on how we can fix the problem areas. I asked to do square white dip powder and my nail tech wasn't willing to do what I wanted. I got a mani and pedi and my pedi turned out great. The lady was super sweet and provided great service. My manicure tech first told me she wouldn't cut down my nails shorter after I had asked her to which she responded "it'll look ugly". I understand for specific nail shapes like almond a specific length is required to achieve that look but not for square. I then told her about how my family owns nail shops and she proceeded to make a comment about how it's a chop shop based on its location. In any circumstance when is it ever appropriate to make that comment?? This salon is nice and it is on the pricier side but the service does not meet the price point. I had multiple witnesses as well who can attest to these comments since I went with my friends. My square shape also came out wide, bulky, and ugly. I had to refile and reshape themselves. I can't speak for everyone but that was my experience at Blush and I won't be back.

Tracy is professional, meticulous, and pays incredible attention to detail. My nails turned out even better than I imagined, and I couldn't be happier with them. Eric did my deluxe spa pedicure and did an amazing job on my gel French toes. Everything looked flawless, and the pedicure was so relaxing. The salon itself is a cute little shop that is very clean and welcoming. I also LOVE their massage chairs, they massage both your back and bottom. Overall, I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. I left feeling pampered, refreshed, and so happy with the results. Highly recommend Tracy and Eric. I've been trying to find a good nail salon near me but it's not easy finding a place that does a solid job on both nails and toes especially for french, something so basic. I took a break from getting my nails done recently, but decided to come in this weekend to get a pedicure for our upcoming vacation. I made an appointment for 9:45am and was immediately greeted and seated at a pedicure station - I was also offered water too. I went with the Deluxe Pedicure which was $42 + extra for the Gel polish. The lady who did my pedicure was very friendly while taking her time - she did a great job! They're very personable at Monet Spa which I also like - the owner remembered my name and that I'm married and have a daughter. The staff is always so grateful to see you back too! Overall, I'm glad I decided to come back and give them another chance. This is definitely my new favorite nail salon!

We were treated like VIPs, with a special birthday and retirement shout out on the big screen, mimosas, and a hot shoulder pad while having our pedicures. Chris provided an excellent pedicure, and Tom did an outstanding job on my nails. The salon was clean, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I was completely satisfied with the service I received and will return not only for a nail/pedicure, but also for their hair spa and facial.
