I really, really, really wanted to like this place. I live not so far from here so I would have liked it if it worked out but sadly I'm super unimpressed with my experience here. The ladies who work here are very nice and friendly, they talk to each other in Vietnamese but it's not something that I personally mind. What I care about is the quality of the service and the end result. I called ahead to book a 5pm appointment. Since I wasn't a walk-in customer, I expected that my appointment was an allotted time slot for me but boy was I wrong. When I walked in, nobody was at the front desk and the other ladies were too busy to greet me. So I waited around 10 minutes before Lee showed up from the back room and asked if I was the 5pm appointment. I showed Lee some pics of what I wanted, and to her credit I did get something similar to what I was asking for - thus the 3 stars of this review. She did my nails in about 30 minutes or so, which was the fastest anyone ever did a manicure for me. Sadly the speed is reflected in the quality and the end result. And not to mention, since Lee was managing the salon, during my session she was super distracted with greeting new customers entering the salon, picking up the never-ending incoming calls, and then when there was no more calls, she got distracted instructing the customers who were waiting to take a seat here and there. The other ladies took their time with their clients though with no care for their next clients' time who already arrived for their appointment. To say that they overbook themselves is an understatement. And to be honest all the rushing would have been fine for me if the quality wasn't that bad. At first I was impressed (but secretly confused too) that she didn't even have to clean up my nail borders after applying. But when it was done and I took a look of my nails, it was clear why. It was because the nail polish was applied so far from the borders that I left the salon looking like my manicure was already at least a week old. She did one coat of glitter for the tip as requested but ever so carelessly and left me baffled.. the "bald" spots were so blatant that I had to point them out to her. I've done the same nail design myself at home with a better result. 30 minutes later my appointment ended with three customers already waiting long for their turn, there was no way for me to ask her to re-do my nails correctly without sounding like a nit-picking bitch, while all I wanted was a good service and quality that I was paying for. In my head there's no doubt that Lee is a good nail tech and will do a good work when she's focused. But with the kind of service along this level of distraction, I'd prefer taking my business elsewhere. read more

This is one of my favorite places to get a pedicure and brow wax. The three nail technicians, who are regular employees (who commute really far to their jobs) have always been professional, friendly, and done high quality work. The ambiance is clean, sunny with natural light coming through windows, and most importantly, ventilated with rare occasions fumes from the acrylics. I'm pretty sensitive to fumes so I'm very selective about where I get this work done. I also like that there are massage chairs (that function properly) and someone there has a penchant for playing the food network on the flatscreens. :-) Parking can be found on the sidestreets or underground in the Array Building. read more

I really wanted to like this place. Not too far from my house and cheaper than my normal nail salon (Lavish Nails in Aurora). But their attention to detail and the quality of service is just not up to par. I made an appointment to get shellac mani and reg pedi at 5:45pm. The salon closes at 7pm. From the moment I walked in.. everything was sooo rushed! As I was picking out my color - the nail lady was filing and buffing my nails. I definitely was not ready for that and felt like there was lack of care. Not to mention, I had to be really precise on the nail color because I am part of a wedding this weekend and the bride is very particular. I communicated that to the nail tech. When I finally decided on a color, I asked her to give me the nail polish so I can send it over to the other bridesmaid. Apparently, this was bothersome to the nail tech because she uttered under her breath in Vietnamese, "I am getting tired of you." *yes I speak and understand Vietnamese* They did my shellac nails and pedicure in under an hour. Very mediocre job. My left index finger bled from her cutting too close to my cuticles. Cherry on top is that the shellac on my left hand is streaky (right hand is not - like how does that even happen??). My nails are uneven. And the cuticles are not cleaned/cut all the way. Lack of proper care. I really shouldn't have even tipped. I will not be coming back. read more

The workers hate immigrants like themselves that are better off. If you are an immigrant (speak with an accent) and also have a post graduate degree avoid this place. Also make sure you wear running gear to be accepted. Dressing professional is a no no for their taste. They believe themselves to be superior to most immigrants although they are just doing nails. I had the audacity to take my CMA (certified management accountant) textbook with me to the salon because I was studying for that certification, and Linda filled my soaking bowl with cold water, she also pinched me a few times with the cuticle cutter. The owner, started to talk loud about children and cooking. They are all Vietnamese and can barely understand what they were saying, but boy they were loud... When I paid, Linda was looking at how much tip I gave her, $20.00 in cash was not enough... I bet they don't declare cash revenue. I avoided this place for several month and they were hoping I lost my job or something bad happened to me. They literally asked me when I went there without an appointment two weeks ago. When I tried scheduling an appointment in advance for July, Linda, at the owner's request, made me write down the date and time I wanted to go. They usually book their appointment in their full size notebook right away. They were trying to make me believe I had an appointment and when the time comes to get there, they'd say there was no appointment scheduled. They did this last December 2023. I am not an aggressive person and I do not know how to react to this type of aggressivity or hate. I am always nice and understanding and it is hard for me to understand why this behavior. I wanted to share my experience; hopefully, they will stop this aggressivity towards the paying customers. read more

Always enjoy my experience with the lovely nails team. I've referred a few family members and friends to this place because of the care that they put into their work. Previous nail places felt more rushed to get out rather than feeling welcomed and relax- and when they rush they do an awful job! I love Ann! I usually request for her and are able to catch up on the kids and since I had my kiddo in October she's been so sweet to check up on how she's doing too. She gives me recommendations for new nail colors or a color scheme I'm looking for, love it! If you let them know you're crunched for time they will get you in and out- BUT! If you want to relax and enjoy a pedi on those massage chairs, they welcome it! Of course I avoid busy times as much as possible but still don't feel rushed when it is. read more

It's convenient for where I live but more so the staff is friendly, it's easy to make an appointment and they do a great job for a pedicure. I have been to this salon a few times now. Every time my dip manicure was nothing less than perfect! I have seen Holly two out of three times. She is so friendly and makes you feel like it's HER treat that she gets to do YOUR nails. My last visit, I had two friends with me. One of the girls decided she wanted to add a pedicure to her appointment and they were able to get her in no problem!! Both of my friends were thrilled with their gel manicures as well. We will all be back to Lovely Nails. I also want to add that I had called at 9AM (before they opened) hoping to make an appointment for 4:30. OMG FINALLY A NAIL SALON THAT I LOVE!!! I am very self-conscious about my ugly feet and I don't like them to be touched. I've very recently started getting pedicures and I'm always worried people are talking about them because they aren't cute lol. I had a friend recommend this nail salon and I wanted to try it because it is close to my house. I really was looking for a nail salon that I can be a loyal customer and get great service. They greeted me upon arrival and asked if I was a new customer. The employees are all amazing and we're very kind. It had a great vibe and everyone was laughing and joking. It was busy on a Friday afternoon, but I made an appointment and was in and out in an hour for a shellac manicure and pedicure. They work quickly! I loved the got massage and shoulder massage, plus they also had a great massage chair. I also loved their color selection and the TV placement, so you found easily watch Food Network! It's been very hard to find a place where the staff is friendly, my cuticles don't get jacked up and I don't feel judged. They also used 2 UV machines, which made things go faster. I loved how I didn't get bumped for another customer and didn't have to wait between the pedicure and manicure time. This place is horrible. Why bother making an appointment. They run 90min late anyhow. Then when they do finally get to you it's a huge rush job! I'm paying $72 for a shellac fill and shellac pedicure. I expect it to be done well, not rushed because they over booked themselves. Never again. Unfolding my towel for my manicure uncovered a leftover nail clipping in it, which the technician promptly threw away, but did not change out the towel for a fresh one. *Quality: they were attentive to my requested length, and the gel manicure and regular pedicure are still there after 1 week with no chipping. read more

i came here for the first time yesterday. it wasn't a horrible experience by any means but it wasn't amazing and i won't be going back. i think the lady who did my full set was named polly? i could barely hear her or understand what she was saying and she scolded me for quite some time about how bad my nails were from whoever did them before. she was super rushed and had one of her regulars waiting for her appointment which i totally understand, but i wish they had suggested a different time to come in instead of rushing. as soon as i sat down she asked me what color i wanted, before i even started looking at them. then probably 2 minutes later she very urgently asked what color i wanted. she also got annoyed when i was using my phone saying that i was messing up the manicure.... i'm getting my nails done i want to relax! and every other time i've used my phone i've never had a nail tech get annoyed. it seemed like she just wanted to do everything as fast as possible. she filed one nail and asked if i liked the shape and i said yes but then she didn't file any of the others.... they're all uneven and kind of lumpy, none are sharp or crisp like every other manicure i've had is. to top it off she told me to come back in two weeks for a fill(sometimes i can go three maaaaybe four weeks depending on my schedule) she told me the more often i come in, the better it is for her and the better it is for me. sounds like they're just trying to make as much money as possible without putting time and patience into their service. i'm disappointed to say the least read more
