The absolute best nail salon I've ever been to! Kim always puts the clients first. The shape and quality of my nails are perfect and I am super picky. Her brother Tom also does amazing work. My nails are super sensitive and they make sure to be extra gentle on my nails. I can show Kim a pic of what design I want and she normally can replicate it or make it better. Caring owners, when I left the salon one night it was late and I broke a nail and I called too see if I could come back in like 30 minutes. Kim waited for me and I was stuck in traffic so I told her to just go. She felt bad and told me I could call her and she'd come in once I got there since she was going to dinner near by. The staff are friendly, the shop is very clean and inviting and the results are phenomenal! Kim who is the owner, did my nails exactly how I wanted. She is a delight, was very careful with my nails and made sure she wasn't hurting me throughout my time with her. The best part was that we had a great conversation about how she started her business; conversation is far and few between these days in this environment, so it was a nice bonus. My boss recommended Lovely Nails and so I decided to check it out. The location is close to my home which is an added bonus for me. They are very friendly and extremely accommodating. Called ahead and made an appointment since my usual salon was too busy, arrived early so I had no problem waiting a bit. Was sat pretty quickly, and began my dip powder nails. The gal did them just a tad too thick for my liking. She admitted she messed up on a couple nails and reassured she'd fix them, which she did slightly and I appreciate, but I do think they could be just a smidge better. Found myself picking off some cured dip powder since my nails are fairly short, so some clean up would have been nice also. Overall, really nice and would probably return again when my usual nail girl is too busy. read more

I really wanted to love this place. I went a few months ago and have been going back and forth about writing a review. Kim did my nails and she was very nice and definitely talented. My nails came out exactly how I wanted and they looked great! The shop itself though was not clean and the methods used were gross. There was nail dust everywhere when I sat down at the table and I think they were busy because she was working on mine and another girls nails at the same time...she didn't wash her hands in between and used the same file! It made me question whether or not the tools used on me were sanitized beforehand. I hadn't been to a nail salon in a long time so I couldn't remember if that was normal but it just made me feel so gross! When I got home I did a little research and sure enough, that is not at all how a nail salon is supposed to run. I was paranoid for a few months about getting nail fungus or an infection but so far so good. I will never come here again and customers should really reconsider this place unless they change their methods. read more

Awful experience. So expensive and they do not do a good job. My nails were cut and filed so short, they have been bleeding since I left the salon. Got the powder dip and not only did he not clean up the extra color around my nail and on my skin, I did not get a manicure which is the whole reason why I went to get my nails done. Will never do the powder dip ever again. Nails are already chipping and they look horrible. I have never felt pain in my fingertips until I left this place. I have never been this unsatisfied with my nails. Not happy with my experience at all and will never recommend this nail salon. read more

Picked the colors and then I wasn't sure about the gold glittery top coat for my nails so found a pic off Pinterest and the guy helping me used a regular skinny design brush in gold to recreate it. I'm not the type of person that usually leaves a bad review, but this was absolutely the worst service I have ever received from a salon. We called to make appointments, arrived and still had to wait. The staff was not friendly and didn't greet us or try and start a conversation at all. Once the man started my pedicure, he was extremely rough and made me bleed. the first and only thing he said to me was "sorry". After gluing my bleeding toe, he continued the pedicure. I ended the pedicure before he was done because my toe was burning every time i placed it back in the water. Then the lady at the front desk proceeded to ask why we were leaving with unfinished pedicures but didn't try to make it right or apologize, instead she was just as rude as the other two men working. So, I was charged full price for two unfinished pedicures and a newly sliced open toe. FULL PRICE!? Extremely disappointed that the staff was so rude instead of realizing they were in the wrong and trying to still make it a better experience. Spend your money where people will treat you kindly and do quality work--this is NOT the place. read more
