I ate at Loveria on Mother's Day with a party of three for lunch. I would have given a higher rating if the waitress had been more knowledgeable of the food. Every question I asked, she had to ask someone else. I know it's common practice when a new restaurant opens for the wait staff to try everything so they are very knowledgeable about the menu. I was also disappointed, being a new restaurant that the owner didn't stop by our table as he did only one or two, and there was nothing special for the mother's such as a flower. Now for the food. The pesto lasgana that was part of the Mother's Day menu was really good. As was the pesto pasta dish we ordered. The house salad was also good, with a very nice basalmic dressing on it. I would try this restaurant again, but I would hope that the wait staff is more familiar with the menu next time and that there were more choices on the menu. read more

Delicious food and friendly service. Every bit as good as Dallas' Nonna. Loveria is no cookie cutter strip center joint, it feels and tastes authentic. For starters, their wine list is so very interesting! It features a range of Italian wines by the glass and bottle that you don't usually find in restaurants around here. I had a delicious Super Tuscan with the Lasagna Alla Bolognese. Heaven! Super light and flavorful with handmade spinach pasta and a slow cooked bolognese. My husband had the hand rolled meatballs served with spaghetti. We shared a side plate of seasonal veggies, oven roasted with garlic, rosemary and olive oil. On Saturday we celebrated our wedding anniversary at Loveria. It was a major celebration with 10 family members there. We were superbly accommodated. The family was very happy to be there and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Staff was fantastic as was our server Chanel. Food and wine were excellent also. My daughter and I had dinner following a mani-pedi in the same shopping center. Our appetizer, mozzarella fritta was above average. It's pan fried so it doesn't have an oily/ greasiness. The portion size is small but fine for 2. For dinner I had the Pollo Almafi, which is a sautéed chicken in a lemon cream sauce with capers. The manager recommended it as one of their best entrees and I agree. Chicken is a great test of the kitchen's skill since it is very easy to overlook, dry out and over fry the outside while sautéing. The chicken was tender and cooked well. The sauce was delicate and creamy. My daughter got their other best entree, the Lasagna Alla Bolognese. It was a perfect combination of pasta and sauce. The hand rolled spinach pasta is prepared fresh and cooked perfectly, no hard crusty edges. What makes it unique is the Bolognese and Besciamella (Italian version on bechamel) sauce. This combination gives the lasagne a richness most lack and keeps it from getting an over meaty taste. Definitely a great choice for the discerning palate. For dessert Emelia had the amazing Torta al Cioccolato, which is a smooth chocolate torte made with garbanzo and fava bean flour. Unlike other chocolate tortes this one looks dense but is very smooth and not "fudgy" or thick. It's served with a side of ice cream, but was forgotten a week ago when we ordered food to-go. I had the Tiramisu which was not the traditional layered lady finger and mascarpone layered sponge cake but rather a Savoiardi cookie topped with sweet mascarpone served in a small rocks glass. It was good but didn't compare to the Chocolate torte. We each ordered a hot chocolate and they were served in tiny tea cup. I took off one star because the service was slow, however the manager helped and was great. Also the portion sizes are small and the appetizer wasn't very special or unique. We dined al fresco on a lovely Spring evening. The patio is rather small and overlooks a parking lot, but it was nice. Not being big eaters, we skipped the appetizers (antipasti). The sommelier came to our table to help my companion with a wine selection, a nice chianti. Warm crusty bread is served with olive oil and balsamic for dipping. I had the CAPPELLETTI AL RAGÙ - Handmade filled pasta with Parmigiano reggiano cheese, trito aromatico, beef and pork meat, tomato sauce. It was a good tortellini in a Bolognese sauce. My dining partner had the GARGANELLI AL PESTO - Pesto sauce with basil, garlic, pine nuts, extra virgin olive oil, pecorino romano, parmigiano reggiano. Penne pasta in a traditional pesto sauce. It was absolutely delicious. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive. A manager also stopped by to check on us. My one minor complaint was that our dishes were not hot enough when served. This was further exaggerated by the al fresco dining on a slightly cool evening. Heat the entrees more thoroughly and it would have been a perfect evening. Give this new restaurant a try. We're adding it to our regular rotation of local stops. read more

Oh what I can say about Loveria. What words could describe such a place. Firstly, the ambiance and vibe of the place. It was so cute and excellent. Reminded me of a small, traditional and cute Italian restaurant on the Italian Coast. Then came the service. Wow. What great service!! Our waitress was so amazing and kind. And personable. She went out of her way to make us feel loved and helped us order. Then came the food. Because of my gluten allergy, they were able to provide delicious gluten free bread and pasta. It was so yummy. Tasted like true authentic Italian food. I was so pleased. And for dessert? Lord almighty it was about as excellent as a sale at Neiman Marcus. They provided a gluten friendly chocolate cake that was too die for. The whole experience was just otherworldly. Place is very authentic, a short and very interesting menu . Full 100% Italian authentic quality food. You won't find pasta with chicken or anything that is not strictly Italian. The restaurant has also a great atmosfere, not too loud, you can have great conversations and take your time to enjoy the night . Start with a drink in one of the sofas, move to the dining area, take your time to enjoy a home made dessert and wrap it up with a great espresso coffee you won't find anywhere else ( they also do their own coffe line). Will be going back, to have a coffe in the middle of the day, for a business lunch or for another great night with friends. Meh. I'm bummed out that we came here for my Dad's 65th birthday. Nothing was awful, but nothing was stellar either-especially for the prices. I absolutely do not mind paying high prices for awesome food; this fell short. My 7 yr old got a pepperoni pizza that was served to him with burnt pepperoni and a cold pie inside. The staff acknowledged the pizza machine was messed up and did offer other options. However, a hungry 7 yr old doesn't want options, he wants what he ordered. We weren't charged, but we got a lousy kids' pizza at the end of our meal. Also, our party of 8 had our meals delivered sporadically. Three of us got our meals, while we waited for over five minutes for the rest of our party to get theirs. I'm less than impressed. read more

We walked in and had zero attention (empty hostess stand). I had to interrupt a server (heather) who was so sweet to get us seated and get us a menu. Even while we were getting seated, the hostess passed us with an unfriendly look. She may have had an off day, but for the sake of a new business....your host/hostess can and will set the first impression. Just an encouragement to get it in check since you're only 9 weeks old. Have you ever gotten the chicken parama-somehow-fits-my-whole-plate at Cheese Cake Factory, not been able to finish it, take it home, remember that you had it 3 days later, microwave it, and eat it despite the pasta being a little mushy and chicken feeling a little rubbery every few bites? Well the chicken in our dishes were like that microwaved Cheese Cake Factory chicken but not as good. My knife would not cut it. Now normally, I'd just walk away, never write a review, and never think about how bad the food was again. However, at 4.5 stars and over 100 reviews this place should have been a home run for date night. This shakes my faith in Yelp scores like finding out Santa isn't real when you depend on him to deliver year after year. I am not sure what I am going to do now. Maybe it was an off night but inedible chicken and super high bill, try Cheese Cake Factory for edible chicken and leftovers that you know will taste better than the $18 freshly cooked chicken at this place. My son and I ate here for Mother's Day. I had the Pasta Al Salmon and it was fabulous. The butter cream sauce was perfectly textured, not too thick, and the taste was just delicious. I had the Pasta al Samone as my entree. It was excellent. The waitress, Chanel was very pleasant. She noticed we were celebrating and asked us what the occasion was. When we told her we were celebrating our anniversary she offered us a complimentary dessert. We had the Chocolate mousse cake. It was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant. Saltimbocca had lemon flavor and artichokes, neither of which were included in description, and it was meh. Meatballs in Polpette looked like Chef Boyardee, and tasted worse than Chef Boyardee. Only giving one star because I can't do less. Can't review the food because we didn't get any. We were seated promptly and then proceeded to wait for 10 minutes plus and no one came to our table to even offer water. At least 7 waiters were watching us, the table next to us was being cleaned and dressed but no one came to our table. They were not crowded, not even busy! Wow! This place is a hidden gem. The food is so delicious and the decor of the restaurant is very nice. I learned tonight that the owners/chefs are from the northern region of Italy and they take their recipes quite seriously. Our wonderful meal started with bread to the table, served with the most amazing balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Then we had the spinach salad, which was a true flavor delight. I had the lasagna, which was the most delicate and delightful lasagna I've ever had. The spinach noodles practically melted in my mouth. My husband had the gnocchi, which was also melt-in-your-mouth delicious. We had the wonderful treat of chatting with one of the owners, who told us his story of coming here from Italy and he also told us how the lasagna recipe is one he learned from his mother as a very young boy. A great local eatery with a wide selection of delicious pasta. We shared Insalata Loveria, which had a nice balanced flavor of balsamic vinegar and crunchiness of salty bacon bits, my wife had Lasagna Alla Bolognese, which was superb, and I had cappelletti, which was done slightly al dente, covered with delicious ragu - almost like Sunday gravy. Finished the dinner with what apprears to be deconstructed tiramisu in a glass. The wine list was well priced for the quality.
