Actually obsessed with this place. Everything is 10/10 EVERY time, which inspires me to try new drinks because I know they will always be good. Quick service, great prices, makes me happy that I live in Fullerton! I've tried every croffle as well and none of them have disappointed. Been recommending this coffee shop to everyone I know! *Note: TDLR at the end of the review Blueberry Hojicha: 8/10 Great ice to drink ratio! The hojicha and blueberry flavoring was very apparent. This drink is definitely on the sweeter side of hojichas I've had, but not a bad thing. Just something to note. Service: 9/10 The cashiers/baristas were nice and super easy to talk to. My drink came out in about 5-10 minutes. Ambiance: 7/10 There's an okay amount of seating, and outlets here and there. It's super clean and the music isn't too loud. I honestly felt kinda cozy after a while. I went on a Sunday and it was pretty chill even though there was a lot of foot traffic in and out of the cafe. Parking was very easy as there's a parking structure and it's free. TDLR: Drinks are worth it! A pretty good study spot if you can nab a table. Parking is easy. Clean. Good Service.

I checked out this spot after having dinner next door at Akashiro, so it was a nice treat that this spot was next door. I like that the parking is also close by as well, being in Downtown Fullerton. Love the vibes at this cafe. Great for studying and/or working. I stopped in for a matcha cloud to save for the next day so that I can enjoy while I work from home. The barista was sweet and answered all of my questions about their menu. When I was getting ready to drink it the next day, it kept its shape well. The cloud stayed on top of the coconut juice. All I had to do was add ice, mix and it was so refreshing! I would definitely come back to try their other drinks and dessert.

Located right on the corner of Harbor and Chapman. This place had it all! Location, good vibes, great service and amazing coffee, matcha and desserts. It was my first time there so I asked the barista what I should get. She asked what I liked. I said matcha. One of the matcha she suggested was the earl grey matcha. They make their own earl grey cream in house. Boy! This drink was amazing! Not too sweet. You can taste the earl grey and the matcha. It comes with oat milk, which was another plus about the drink! So SO good! Hubby got their espresso cola. Sounds interesting, right? Right! And it was so good. I would recommend this if you like coke and coffee. For our pastry, we shared their churro cookie. Bottom Line Up Front: Lovetta Coffee is offers a wide range of quality java, teas, and baked goods in a cozy setting. Is it a little expensive? Sure. Is its products tasty and high quality? Absolutely. The Drinks: After perusing the menu (which has more than a few options), I zeroed in on the Cola Espresso because of its uniqueness. It features sprinkling water, two shots of espresso, and Lovetta's house-made cola syrup. It didn't taste like a Coke mixed with a black coffee because the cola syrup had more of a root beer base with a strong citrus aftertaste. As unusual as that is, I quite enjoyed it. Meanwhile, my wife ordered the Earl Grey Matcha, which had a perfect blend of both distinct flavors. I'm not a big Earl Grey guy, but I thought it was good. My wife loved it. The Food: I couldn't resist getting a dessert, so I purchased the churro cookie. It was a firm, yet soft cinnamon sugar cookie with a sweet chocolate center. It was delicious and nearly flawless. I say "nearly" because it was just one cookie for a whopping $4.50. Ouch. The Pricing: So, yeah, Lovetta is not cheap. The Cola Espresso was $7 while the Early Grey Matcha was $7.25. Two drinks and a cookie for basically $20. The Setting: Lovetta is located in the heart of Downtown Fullerton in a building shared with a FedEx/Kinko's, Wahoo's Fish Taco and Sunny Tea Studio. The front entrance faces busy Chapman Avenue near Harbor Boulevard. There's no street parking in that area (or extremely limited) so I drove to the rear where there's a bank parking lot and a public parking structure. I parked in the latter for fear of getting towed in the former. Even for a Saturday evening, there were several spaces open in the structure, though the slots are a little more narrow than I'd like. Inside the cafe, it's not huge, but there are several tables and counterspace for studying or hanging out in small groups (4 or fewer is most ideal). It was clean and well organized. The Service: Our barista was friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and honest with her recommendations. Though she was working solo, she still made our drinks relatively quickly. The Conclusion: Lovetta Coffee might be a little on the pricey side, but makes up for it in high-quality beverages and pastries, customer service, and a clean cozy atmosphere. My true rating is 4.5 out of 5, but since I can't give half-stars here, I'm rounding up due to the hospitality of the staff. I will definitely return to try more of the menu.

My sister took me here to have breakfast on a Saturday morning. We both ordered the veggie caprese croffle with a strawberry matcha. It was so delicious, had great texture, and I enjoyed the sweet chilli dipping sauce provided on the side. Can't wait to return again and try other items!

Lovetta was recommended to me by a friend, so I had to give it a try! When you enter, you immediately feel welcome in. It's busy but not overcrowded. Lots of students but there were all age groups. I loved that there is a good amount of seating both inside and out. On a warm day like today, I was grateful for the indoor cool atmosphere. I love that there is a visual menu. It was honestly hard for me to decide what to order. Everything looked and sounded so good! I went for the Horchata Iced Latte and I was blown away by the espresso flavor. Other *cough* chain *cough* places you can barely taste the coffee. The Horchata Latte has a smooth creamy flavor with that rich bold espresso goodness. The white chocolate, vanilla foam and cinnamon on top are chef's kiss. I also had the vegi caprese croffle - Tomato, pesto and provolone on a croissant and toasted like a waffle with sweet chili oil for dipping! It is fantastic. Delectable. I'm still thinking about that sandwich. They also offer a wide variety of pour over options as well as non-coffee drinks and bites. It's located on the corner of Harbor and Chapman. Close to Fullerton College. There is nearby parking, but not right in front of the shop. Seriously can't wait to go back.

I ordered a banana latte and a pumpkin muffin The Banana Latte was very good, not overall sweet and had a great banana flavor to it. Most coffee shops have a bland flavor because all of the sugar overtakes the flavor. The pumpkin muffin could've been more fresh but overall was pretty good, similar to most coffee shops. I wouldn't go out of my way for it but wasn't unhappy with it either. Overall I think the coffee here tasted great and the prices are very good. The staff was super friendly and the ambiance was clean and quiet, great place to study. I would definitely recommend to come here

Matcha^2 was amazing! As was the Tiramisu Latte. Pastries also hit the spot. All the workers were super friendly and answered all of our questions. The shop itself was very chill and relaxing and opened quite late which is cool. Definitely coming back to try the corn cream latte. read more

I visited a new coffee shop that recently opened. Inside, it had a modern vibe. The person who took my order was friendly and mentioned that they use single-origin coffee. I ordered a cortado and an affogato. The cortado had a good temperature and the milk foam was just right. However, even though I personally prefer medium roast coffee, the espresso tasted quite bitter and didn't quite match my taste in terms of balance. (I'd give it about 3 stars.) The affogato was similar -- of course, the ice cream was sweet and tasty, but again, the espresso lacked balance. Since it's a newly opened place, I understand there might be some things to work out -- I'll give it another try next time. read more

I was looking for cafes in the area and this one popped up, and I'm so glad it did! Super cute place, chill ambiance, and super yummy matcha! I was excited to try the Earl Gray matcha since it's not something I've seen before and I'm hooked :D There's plenty of seating which is always nice. I sat at the bar and I loved that there was a built-in foot rest. I'm pretty short, so sitting on a stool with no foot rest can get uncomfy quick, but I didn't have that issue here. It's also a nice spot to put a bag to save counter space. It's a small detail, but something I really appreciated. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the area :) read more

This cafe just replaced the mugs and I was excited to see how it is. I love the way the cafe is set up with ample room for studying and hanging out. Came by for coffee and baked goods this morning and had my usual corn cream latte but today added a shot which brings shot count to a quad which in my mind balances the drink out so this will be my order moving forward. Wife had a great Spanish latte but here is the speed bump, the baked goods, we ordered.. Cinnamon bread which was TERRIBLE, dry and a waste of money, banana bread I've commented on before has not changed and it's also TERRIBLE... Bagel ordered with pesto dried tomato cream cheese, the bagel was low quality not dense and chewy, Starbucks has better bagels at a lower cost which is sad.. I really wish management would take notice and make improvements!!! Until they make positive changes on the low quality baked goods (seems like Costco or Sam's club baked goods not fresh) from here out I'll only be buying coffee, because this detracts me from coming here when I want both baked goods and coffee, and a new competitor opened up nearby that has excellent baked goods and competitive coffee (just not the corn cream latte), but if they do start making that, it will be diverting my business to them because of the missteps here that management continues to make. I really hope management gets the message... read more

Best coffee in town. I had the pleasure of chatting with the owner during my visit, and it's clear he's deeply passionate about his coffee craft. He personally sources specialty-grade beans from South America and roasts them in-house which really comes through in the flavor. I've been coming here for over two years now, and this place has never disappointed. I always order the strawberry iced matcha with oat milk, it's absolutely goated. Beyond the amazing food and drinks, the staff is what really makes this place special. Every single Lovetta employee is genuinely so kind, with hospitality that's honestly unreal. Just straight up goated people all around. Overall, this is a 10/10 coffee shop and easily the best one in Fullerton by far. This was my first visit here, as my eyebrow lady is located right next door. I ordered a cookie butter latte, and wow, it was incredibly flavorful while still allowing the coffee taste to shine through. The cashier at the front was exceptionally friendly and assisted me when I was torn between a caramel macchiato and the cookie butter latte. Ordered pickup. 1st class matcha is good but really pricy unfortunately. The food here is really good too. I got the Sriracha chicken croffle which was delicious. Also got the pizza one and the Lorraine quiche. Would like to try the pesto croffle, their buttery scones, and the corn cream latte. read more

I got a strawberry matcha with coconut milk less sweet! lauren whisked the matcha so well, i tried their matcha when it used to be the mugs before the rebrand, but i think that lauren made mine so much better i watched her make it and she took so much care in layering the drink. it looked too good to mix! will be back asap! theres lots of seating, good wifi, and clean bathrooms! read more

This place is incredible. We're regulars here and everything we get is so good. They take great care to the preparation and creation of their coffee. Do they have anything other than straight coffee? I'm so glad you asked. Yes. Their specialty drinks are super creative and delicious. Don't want coffee at all? You're in luck, their refreshments, matcha, and hojicha are also all great. Hungry? Perfect. They have a variety of delicious pastries along with housemade scones and cookies. My wife loves the coffee, and I don't drink coffee much and we both are consistently able to find things that we love here. The owners are incredibly personable and kind, as well as all of the baristas. We absolutely love spending time here and talking with all of them. Please try this place, we love it. When I explained that one of us has a dairy allergy and asked them to identify the allergen-free items, I got a blank stare. We opened both burritos: both had cheese, despite my explicit no-cheese request. Their solution? "Can you pick it out?" No. You cannot pick out melted cheese from an allergen order. I was not offered a fresh burrito, just another blank stare until I specifically stated "I need you to remake this with the proper ingredients and confirm what you put in." Once again the burrito came out with no label, and when I asked for clarity on what was in it I was again met me with a blank stare. My partner's burrito was also wrong (pico she'd asked to have removed), but by then the 40-minute wait had made her late for work. When I asked for a refund on her incorrect meal, I was told they couldn't refund it "because she left." When I asked to leave written feedback: "we don't accept written feedback." Manager? Not in. Manager's phone number? Don't have it. But here's what pushed this from bad service to abominable: there is no way to hold this place accountable. At no point did anyone acknowledge a mistake had been made or make any real attempt to fix it- every wrong order was met with a shrug and the expectation that I'd just live with it. When I asked to leave written feedback, I was told they don't accept it. When I asked for the manager, they weren't in. When I asked for a manager's phone number or someone to contact, the employee "didn't have access to that." A business that serves people with food allergies MUST have a way for customers to flag problems in real time and reach management. This place has built a system where mistakes can't be reported, refunds can't be issued, and no one is responsible for anything. To be clear, this isn't on the line staff - one employee clearly hadn't been given the language support or training to succeed, and that's a management failure. The other younger employee was just incompetent and unhelpful, even though she was clearly aware of the requests. If you advertise allergen accommodations, you have to execute them, label them, and answer for it when you don't. Until this place fixes its ordering system, its labeling, and its total lack of accountability, spend your money literally anywhere else.

The latte had a nice balance -- not too sweet, with just the right hint of lavender, and the coffee itself was smooth and flavorful. The scone was fresh and paired really well with the drink. I had the hot matcha latte, and it was amazing! I heard they use ceremonial-grade matcha directly sourced from a farm in Japan -- and you can really taste the difference. The flavor and aroma were rich and smooth, way better than other places I've tried. Definitely recommend their matcha latte! The staff were super friendly too.
