As soon as we walked in the lady looked at us and didn't greet us i believe it was because it was close to closing time but it was still 30 minutes ahead . Matcha^2 was amazing! As was the Tiramisu Latte. Pastries also hit the spot. All the workers were super friendly and answered all of our questions. The shop itself was very chill and relaxing and opened quite late which is cool. Definitely coming back to try the corn cream latte. read more

I visited a new coffee shop that recently opened. Inside, it had a modern vibe. The person who took my order was friendly and mentioned that they use single-origin coffee. I ordered a cortado and an affogato. The cortado had a good temperature and the milk foam was just right. However, even though I personally prefer medium roast coffee, the espresso tasted quite bitter and didn't quite match my taste in terms of balance. (I'd give it about 3 stars.) The affogato was similar -- of course, the ice cream was sweet and tasty, but again, the espresso lacked balance. Since it's a newly opened place, I understand there might be some things to work out -- I'll give it another try next time. read more

Unfortunately their service on this occasion not up par. The three young servers were too busy talking amongst themselves to greet their patrons. I asked them about the Hojicha. Ordered Hojicha w oat milk over light ice. The flavor was not good compared to the one I have at UCI in fact it was flavorless and my 12oz cup was half full for $6.50. I was looking for cafes in the area and this one popped up, and I'm so glad it did! Super cute place, chill ambiance, and super yummy matcha! I was excited to try the Earl Gray matcha since it's not something I've seen before and I'm hooked :D There's plenty of seating which is always nice. I sat at the bar and I loved that there was a built-in foot rest. I'm pretty short, so sitting on a stool with no foot rest can get uncomfy quick, but I didn't have that issue here. It's also a nice spot to put a bag to save counter space. It's a small detail, but something I really appreciated. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the area :) read more

Came by for coffee and baked goods this morning and had my usual corn cream latte but today added a shot which brings shot count to a quad which in my mind balances the drink out so this will be my order moving forward. Wife had a great Spanish latte but here is the speed bump, the baked goods, we ordered.. Cinnamon bread which was TERRIBLE, dry and a waste of money, banana bread I've commented on before has not changed and it's also TERRIBLE... Bagel ordered with pesto dried tomato cream cheese, the bagel was low quality not dense and chewy, Starbucks has better bagels at a lower cost which is sad.. I really wish management would take notice and make improvements!!! Until they make positive changes on the low quality baked goods (seems like Costco or Sam's club baked goods not fresh) from here out I'll only be buying coffee, because this detracts me from coming here when I want both baked goods and coffee, and a new competitor opened up nearby that has excellent baked goods and competitive coffee (just not the corn cream latte), but if they do start making that, it will be diverting my business to them because of the missteps here that management continues to make. I really hope management gets the message... read more

This was my first visit here, as my eyebrow lady is located right next door. I ordered a cookie butter latte, and wow, it was incredibly flavorful while still allowing the coffee taste to shine through. The cashier at the front was exceptionally friendly and assisted me when I was torn between a caramel macchiato and the cookie butter latte. Beyond the amazing food and drinks, the staff is what really makes this place special. Every single Lovetta employee is genuinely so kind, with hospitality that's honestly unreal. i come here all the time. since changing to lovetta from mugs cafe i feel the service and quality has gotta much better. the staff are always nice, friendly, and quick. inside is usually filled with students since there's a college campus and high school across the street but still has plenty of seating. read more

This place is incredible. We're regulars here and everything we get is so good. They take great care to the preparation and creation of their coffee. Do they have anything other than straight coffee? I'm so glad you asked. Yes. Their specialty drinks are super creative and delicious. Don't want coffee at all? You're in luck, their refreshments, matcha, and hojicha are also all great. Hungry? Perfect. They have a variety of delicious pastries along with housemade scones and cookies. My wife loves the coffee, and I don't drink coffee much and we both are consistently able to find things that we love here. The owners are incredibly personable and kind, as well as all of the baristas. We absolutely love spending time here and talking with all of them. Please try this place, we love it.
