Love love love this place. Went there again for my birthday and had delicious food as always. Next time I'll remember to take pics before devouring but it's hard to remember once the food comes. My absolute fav is the cha cha cha. One day I'll try more of the menu but it's hard for me to move on. And to see that they've added more to choose from is a bit much for this plant-based foodie. I came to dine with a group and can't remember all the dishes that were ordered, but for sure I walked away with happy taste buds and tummy. The menu is extensive so there's something for everyone. Restaurant is clean and spacious, which was a plus since our party had 8 people. Service was attentive, our drinks were refilled timely and we had all our utensils -- usually a problem for groups at restaurants. Out of everything that was ordered (there were about 12 dishes), my favorite was the holy eggplant, heavenly salad and golden fried rice. Perfectly flavored and very savory. I ordered the chocolate mousse cake and loved it, the bottom layer is chocolate cake and top is chocolate mousse. It was rich enough and not overly sweet. I've only been here twice. 1st time to attend a cooking class and ordered a slice of strawberry cake. Not the best vegan cake I've had, but in the top 3. 2nd time I visited was on a buffet day. And oh boy was I pleasantly surprised. In the past I ate at the Kennesaw location (which is now closed), and wasn't super impressed. But they got it right! Even though I didn't get there til 6 (buffet ended at 8) they were still continuously refreshing the items on the line. Everything that I ate tasted fresh and made with love. The Jamaican Flower tea was to die for. One of the workers was so friendly that she had the cooks make me individual sized portions of all the dishes that had nuts, nut-free. That won me over. It's a nice small vegan place. Their sushi roll isn't bad. Everything tasted and looked pretty fresh. The service was pretty good. Waiters and waitresses attended to me several times within the first few minutes of being here. I'm a bit disappointed in their "Americano Coffee," it was pretty bland and watered down. The atmosphere here is pretty chill. I actually want to come back and try out more of their vegan dishes. They do not look half bad. I witness quite a lot of customers come in for their cake so that a plus. I conversed with a random customer and he absolutely loves this place. I would recommend this place even if you are not vegan. It is worth it. The plates are simply delicious. Just steer away from the coffee. This is my first time eating here, my birthday dinner choice :-) At first glance it seems cafeteria style. The food makes up for first impressions. Our appetizers were very good and filling. Basil rolls and Tofu triangles. I had the eggplant and tofu and my husband had the fried brown rice...yum! I ate the left overs for breakfast the next day. What is there left to say about this longstanding delicious vegan chain? They have vegan sweets and savory food alike. Their menu is Asian-leaning, but they're pretty creative and do lots of different cuisines. I highly recommend their once a month vegan buffet. My family and I are on a plant based style of eating and this place does not serve the "vegan junk food" that many of the other vegan places serve. This was my first time going but I will definitely be back. We had the spring rolls appetizer. It is a large spring roll with a substantial amount of filling. They make theirs with tofu which I actually preferred to those that are made with cabbage and carrots. For our entrees we had the Au Lac Sandwich which was not a favorite and had a very unusual seasoning that I could not place. The flavor was very off putting. The Vegan Burger was very fresh and not a frozen patty. My son loved it. I had the Au Lac Crepe which was full of bean sprouts was so good. I especially loved the sauce that was served with it. I'm neither a vegetarian nor vegan, but every January for the past few years, the hubs and I have gone "extreme" vegan for 21 days as part of the Daniel Fast. In order to stay true to the Daniel Fast, we have to cook most of our meals. But thanks to Loving Hut, we've been able to dine out for a few tasty vegan meals at reasonable prices! Loving Hut is a vegan chain restaurant with over 200 locations in more than 34 countries! Georgia has two locations - this one in Norcross and another in Sandy Springs. They're known for serving a wide variety of "international vegan cuisine" - from appetizers, soups, and Asian noodles to wraps, sandwiches, vegan burgers, and even pizzas! I can assure you that even the everyday carnivore can find something to enjoy here! The hubs and I have visited Loving Hut a few times outside of the Daniel Fast, so we've been able to try a handful of different dishes. Here is a list of some of the menu items we've tried: Daniel Fast-friendly Entrees: * Chow-Mein - "Wheat noodles, tofu, cabbage, soy strips, carrots, onions, cilantro and bean sprouts." This, hands-down, is our favorite dish here. You'll almost forget that this is a vegan noodle dish! The soy strips have the flavor - and almost the texture - of beef! The cilantro is simply a garnish, still on the stem, so it's easy to remove for those like me who can't stand the taste of the herb. * Golden Rice - "Stir-fried brown rice with carrots, peas, onions, soy protein, tofu, topped with cilantro." Asked for no cilantro, but forgot to ask for no peas. Big mistake since I hate peas, and there were tons of those little green suckers in the rice! Luckily, the hubs likes peas, so he gobbled all of mine up. I thought the Golden Rice lacked flavor and could have used more seasoning. I wouldn't order this again. Other Vegan Dishes: * Cha Cha Cha - "Seasoned vegan crescents with lettuce in sweet & sour sauce." This imitation shrimp appetizer will truly fool you into thinking you're eating fried shrimp - without the tails, of course! The texture of the "vegan crescents" is pretty close to shrimp, and the sauce is tasty. * Nacho Supreme - "Tortilla chips topped with our special vegan queso, refried beans, salsa." Honestly, this was super tasty! The vegan queso did NOT taste like vegan cheese, and if I recall correctly, there were soy protein crumbles that tasted like ground beef in it, too! I would order this again. * Wonton Soup - "Wontons with tofu, soy protein, onions, bok-choy, carrots, snow peas, cilantro, sesame oil, vegetable broth." The vegetable broth is super flavorful, and the wontons contain a soy protein that doesn't taste like meat. If you're looking for a warm soup with tasty veggies in it, this is a good choice, but the wontons are just okay. * Vegan Burger - "Vegan seasoned patty with tomatoes, onions, lettuce on sesame seed bun with fries & salad." I think I'm just not a fan of veggie/vegan burgers in general, and this one did not particularly wow me. I think I'm done trying veggie burgers at restaurants - I'll stick to real, juicy, meaty burgers. * Pad Thai - "Rice noodle, tofu, tomatoes, green onion, garlic, bean sprout topped with crushed peanuts." I was really excited to try this since I thought it was going to have the flavor of authentic pad thai, but it didn't. Can't quite put a finger on what would have made it taste more like "real" pad thai, but I know I won't order this again here. Service has always been very friendly and attentive here. What's unique about Loving Hut (I'm not sure if it's all locations or just this one since this is the only one I've been to) is that there is a self-serve station where you get your own extra plates, silverware, and even to-go containers. The only thing your server will refill for you is your beverage. Also, not sure why, but by default, they won't serve you ice with your water. However, if you want ice, simply ask your server and he/she will bring you a cup. Although we haven't been before, they serve an all-you-can-eat buffet one Saturday each month, either the 3rd or 4th week, from noon to 8 pm. Call the restaurant in advance to confirm when their next Saturday buffet will be. The buffet costs $14.99 for adults, $7.99 for children aged 7 to 12 years old, and free for kids aged 6 and under. Overall, Loving Hut in Norcross gets 4 stars for their variety of tasty vegetarian/vegan dishes and great service. I'm not a generally a lover of sweets so haven't tried any of their vegan desserts, but they do serve a variety and even sell whole vegan cakes. The hubs and I will continue to frequent Loving Hut when we want a healthier meal option that is still delicious, and we recommend vegetarians, vegans, and even carnivores to come check them out! read more

We didn't leave because it was my friend's first time and she really wanted to try vegan food because there are almost no options in the Norcross/Duluth area, heck, the whole south. I only kept giving this place a benefit of a doubt because I had NO OTHER choice. If you're lucky to get your order taken, forget about getting your check. Basically, EVERYONE has to go up and pay at the counter. I swear they will close up shop with people inside if the customers chose to stay in their seat. Loving Hut doesn't care! Either the manager is never there, or the manager doesn't give a shit. Their apathy is evident in how the place looks like it hasn't been cleaned since it opened and why there are BUGS in my fucking food. Sure, I want to be healthy, but this place is NOT worth it. I have been to this location at least 10 times over the past years. The food is fine but the service is awful I have seriously thought long and hard to figure out what I may have done to these people. I am not expecting anything 5 star but please just be kind in taking my order and check back to see if everything is okay. The last time I dined here the waiter stood sideways and didn't even look me in the eye as he rudely asked me what I wanted. I felt like I was inconveniencing him. My food was delivered by a waitress, she was equally as unkind. When I asked her to bring me some chopsticks so I could eat my food she never returned. So I ended up eating it with my hands. I guess they forgot about me because I sat there for 20 minutes before I finally got up to request and pay my check. I really don't require much and always leave 20% tip even when they give less than mediocre service. They never smile or make you feel your business was appreciated.
