She showed up on time and here's where she really shined: my foster was large (100 lbs) and relatively unsocialized, so he had stranger danger. When he ran up to her barking (my fault for not already having him on leash), she did all the right things. She looked away, didn't react, and let him decide she was cool in his own time. She never tried to force it, even when they started their walk and he shied at first. She let him go at his own pace and they had a nice walk. It was super helpful to me and she took excellent care of a giant, scaredy dog. Will definitely call on Tails of Luck again.

We were crazy lucky that Andy was able to sweep in and take over our dog's care. He truly saved our vacation!!! He was there every night for my dog, and he was with him during the day as well. My dog was traumatized before Andy got there, and Andy knew immediately what my dog needed to calm down and feel secure. I can't thank Andy and Lauren enough for what they've done for us. If my dogs weren't already used to their walker, I'd leave. Changes as of late have made this…read moreservice less than what it once was. No longer send email updates on walks. They no longer send photos to us as proof of walk and validation our dogs are happy. Rather than send photos to the owners, they take photos which are relayed back to corporate. I'm to believe this change is somehow beneficial to me? They have stated they no longer have the capacity to manually relay photos to clients, but ARE able to manually relay photos to corporation. A tad counterintuitive and certainly not focused on customer. They've also stated having a lock box at my house makes me more secure because they no longer hold onto keys. Sure, unless someone takes the box, their employees access my house after hours, etc...It's the same situation as before except more people have access to my keys than before. OH, and every update they give us online are EXACTLY the same day after day after day. Clearly, my dogs do not pee and poop the same number of times weeks in a row. They continue to insist clients love all their changes and fail to acknowledge any decrease in service as a result. It's "my perception," which clearly doesn't matter and is dismissed as a minority view rather than at all validated. What was once a good business has taken a hit. UPDATE: NO phone calls. No responses from the Dog Butlers. Having now talked to friends, found out they've dropped Austin Dog Butler.

Their service is extremely efficient and the care the give your animal is top-quality. When you sign up,their team makes an initial visit for your dog to become acquainted with their new walker. Halfway through the year, the individual walking my dog changed and the process went very smoothly (the old walker even introduced the new walker to my dog so he would have a familiar face for the first introduction). Unlike some of our experiences with other veterinarians in Austin, we never feel rushed. We truly appreciate the care and attention he gives to both us and our cat Reishi. Dr. Rob performed oral surgery to remove several of Reishi's teeth. It was the first major surgery we had experienced with her. He was extremely patient with our questions, took wonderful care of her, and guided us through the entire process. Reishi healed very quickly and had no postoperative complications, which we were especially grateful for after hearing about friends whose pets experienced infections and other issues following similar procedures elsewhere. Recently, Reishi had a cancer scare after an alarming initial assessment at an emergency vet. We were quite stressed. When we brought her to see Dr. Rob, he first acknowledged what we had been through and made us feel heard and cared for before discussing the next steps. He even emailed us with test results and next steps while he was on a family vacation, which showed us how deeply he cares about his patients. Fortunately, further testing showed that Reishi did not have cancer. Going through such a stressful experience felt much more manageable knowing that Reishi was under Dr. Rob's care. He is compassionate, patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in both his patients and their families. Unfortunately, we are moving out of state and will have to find a new veterinarian. We truly hope we can find a clinic as wonderful as ATX Animal Clinic. It is the best veterinary clinic we have ever had, and we are incredibly grateful to Dr. Rob and the entire team.

It has been an awful experience trying to schedule anything with her. She has told me wrong information multiple times in regard to schedule appointments even when I asked her if she was sure cuz the info didn't sound right. It has been incredibly frustrating working with her. I wouldn't trust information coming from her and will be asking to speak to someone besides her from now on. Otherwise a wonderful clinic and have loved all the staff besides her. Highly recommends this vet clinic.

Since I'm new to this, I was looking forward to asking the "experts" a few questions. Unfortunately, that excitement disappeared the moment I walked in. As soon as I entered, the older gentleman behind the counter looked directly at me and then immediately turned away without saying a word. He wasn't helping anyone at the time. I walked around the store for a while and noticed a young woman cleaning items nearby. Not once did she greet me or ask if I needed help. When I was looking at the driftwood display, she walked by, so I asked a question. She gave me what felt like a dirty look, gave a very quick answer, and walked away. I initially thought maybe she was busy helping other customers, but that didn't seem to be the case. What made the experience worse was what happened next. While I was still browsing near the entrance, several other customers walked in. Every single one of them was greeted by the gentleman behind the counter. I hate to even bring this up, but it left me wondering why my experience was so different. I'm a Hispanic male with tattoos, and every other customer who was greeted appeared to be white with no visible tattoos. I truly hope that wasn't the reason, but I honestly can't think of another explanation for the difference in treatment. Either way, it was disappointing. I had specifically chosen to visit a local specialty shop because I wanted the advice and expertise that comes with it. Instead, I left feeling unwelcome and will likely just go to a big box store instead--something I was hoping to avoid. I hope this isn't the normal experience for customers, but it was certainly mine today.

We had a terrifying…read moreexperience yesterday evening when we had to bring in our two-year-old Great Pyrenees mix for a major laceration. From the second we arrived, Dr. Pearson and the entire care team--Megan, Ethan, and Nicole (the CEC)--were absolutely incredible. They provided top-tier medical care for our girl, but what I appreciated most was how they handled my wife and me. We were in a total state of panic, and they stayed calm, kept us informed, and treated us with so much empathy. It's rare to find a team that can balance high-level emergency medicine with such genuine bedside manner. Dr. Pearson is a total pro, and the nursing staff made us feel like our pup was their only priority. If you're in the Austin area and find yourself in a pet emergency, this is the only place I'd trust.

This could be my 4th time or 3rd time, but I do know it's always on a weekend. Our pets are our kids and when do they get sick or injured??? On weekends. Our Coconut once more ripped her nail almost completely off. She and Buddy who lives on the other side of the fence are always running back and forth and peeking at one another, oh yes running and barking as well. So Saturday she did it again, got her one nail caught in the slats of the fence. The good, great doctors were able to cut it off as far in as they could go. The nail is split inside but will grow out. On Monday she would not put her paw down and I couldn't touch it. It was all wrapped up good but I was fearful of taking the bandage off soooooo back to our friendly VEG ER for pets again. The doctor took the wrap off and said it looks great and healing but just like humans, the second day it hurts the worst. He was so reassessing, just keep up the medication and wear the "cone".... Today, day 5 and she is walking , even trying to run on it and just about finished with the medicine. Sleeps well, and just about to be my tom-boy, girl puppy again. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts. Oh the picture I have posted is of 's sister Winnie , yes there are from the same litter. I was watching Winnie and she all of a sudden just fell over and boy was so close to dying. It was a tough, rough couple days, but the doctor's there as well as the ones on 2222 pulled her through. Love you guys, all of you. Thank you.

Lisa is fantastic! I moved to Austin around 10 months ago without having the usual friends, family, vet that I relied on so much before when traveling to take care of my two senior dogs. I came across one of Lisa's ads and gave her a call to set up an appt to meet. My dogs immediately took to her. I've utilized her dog walking services on a regular basis ever since when traveling for work. My dogs seem perfectly content when I get home. She is great to work with, very flexible with her schedule (great for business travelers who often have delayed flights or extended business trips at the last minute) and she'll treat your pets as her own. I feel completely confident in her services when I go out of town and never have to worry about my dogs safety or well being. I know with her they are getting the best of the best when it comes to pet sitters. I would reccomend her to anyone who thinks of their pets as their family and wants to make sure they get the very best care. read more

I am new to the Austin area and needed to make a trip back home to KY for my nephews birth. I have a small, two year old Calico cat named Rumple. I contacted Loving Pet Care and was immediately responded to with information on who would be available during the dates I would be gone. Beth contacted me directly and we set up a time to meet, she was very nice and Rumple loved her! She gathered a lot of information to make sure Rumple got the care she needed. While I was away, I got constant updates from Beth on how Rumple was doing. She sent me several pictures each visit and texted me updates on what was going on. She even vacuumed and swept the kitchen for me! It was an amazing experience and I will for sure use these services again in the future! Each time I left, I felt guilt about leaving the cats and about asking someone to help out. But, no more! I found out about Lisa, and I haven't worried since. I can't believe how fast this industry--professional pet sitters-- has grown. So many services have opened up. So many options. The reasons I like Lisa's Loving Pet Care are: 1. Overnight pet sitting in my home. It's critical for me that my dog is able to stay in his own comfortable environment. Plus you get the added benefit of someone looking after your home while you are away. 2. My dog likes Lisa. And it is always Lisa and only Lisa that comes. I can't deal with a "team" of pet sitters. Lisa has been taking care of my sweet Roxy for the past two years whenever I need to go out of town. I don't feel comfortable taking Roxy to a boarding facility, and feel that she's much happier at home. Lisa goes above and beyond what is expected! Not only does she feed my dog and my bird and walk Roxy twice daily, but she also just hangs out and plays games with her. She also waters my plants, brings in the newspaper, and takes the garbage to the street and back. She sends me text messages and photos that make me feel less lonesome. She is just so wonderful! I've been using LLPC for over a year or so and I've always been very happy with the great service. Jennifer takes care of my 2 very shy cats and she's made a big effort to get them comfortable with her. She seems to have been successful; they come out for her, let her pet them (she sends texts with pix of her petting them), and when I come home they're not stressed out. She stays overnight when she's available and I know they're in great hands. I get anxious about leaving them, but knowing she'll be there for them really relieves my mind. Toni visited and stayed overnight with my elderly golden retriever Rufus numerous times during his final months. It's impossible to overstate Toni's role in making Rufus comfortable. During their first meeting, they established a close connection, and Rufus adored her to the very end. Toni knew all his meds and administered them properly. These guys are amazing!! Donna brought two of my pups to my wedding and then she took them back after the ceremony. She even stayed to walk them around to meet and greet with guests! I used Lisa for the first time last week to watch my 12 yr old lab when I went out of town last minute. She was great! She took him for walks and played ball with him. An important message that I sent was missed, which led to my cat's waste collecting over a period of days in the tub, and with my cat eventually peeing on my bed (he is beyond hygienic and selective with where he goes to the bathroom). Even with the missed message, I would think their noses would lead them to the tub? It absolutely stank when I got home (there was also dried cat vomit in the bathroom - I just live in a studio). And I then had to spend hours washing everything on my bed, getting Urine Destroyer, etc... really not ideal after getting home from a trip. This is in addition to lights being left on, pill pocket pack not sealed after use, and litter and garbage preferences not followed. Also, I would have preferred they contacted me when my cat decided not to eat his medicine the first day, than to decide how to handle it on their own, although their idea wasn't a bad one. They are perfectly nice people but I would say that if your cat requires anything beyond basic care (throw food in a bowl and scoop box), look elsewhere. Details and communication are important. I communicated some of this to the company and they offered me a free visit in the future, which I thought was a bit presumptuous. They did play with him and actually spend time with him (instead of feeding and dashing), which is something I do appreciate.

We have one cat who we love dearly, and one visit they completely left our cat endangered and the owner of this company (which says a lot about the company itself) took ZERO accountability, not only that we found our account inactivated by them which means they are refusing us service after a mistake they made- and we can no longer even contact them. They left our Patio balcony door- we live on the third floor in an apartment WIDE open with our cat who can clearly open the screen door that was slightly open. That is SO dangerous. We have a ragdoll who don't have much reflexes and he could fall and die from such a height, or even escape or jump out and seriously injure himself. They left the door open and left the keys inside with no way to get back in while we were on vacation. Then we got one text saying they left this door open and we were shocked when we checked our pet camera. This is ABSOLUTELY unacceptable. The only apology we got from this horrendous accident was "i apologize." She didn't call once, and if we hadn't seen this text message promptly i feel as though she wouldn't even have cared and went on their day. DO NOT TRUST YOUR BELOVED PET WITH THESE PEOPLE. You've been warned!!! This was over memorial day weekend and nobody was even in the leasing office to help which is super scary. Bad experience overall from a pet sitting company we've been trusting for awhile now which is so disappointing. I can see now they don't care about pets.
