Kept asking if my dog has all his vaccines. I said yes. He asked which ones, I answered. Asked how many times I went to the Vet to get vaccines? I answered. Then asked for records, I said I have them. I would strongly advise pet owners to think twice before using this service. They arrived hours late to a line of waiting clients. After my pet's appointment, it took three weeks and four separate phone calls just to receive bloodwork results -- for tests I already paid for. I was then told they had "called me" but my phone number was incorrect. That is simply not true! I had no missed calls and have used this same number consistently for over 20 years, of which they confirmed. Meanwhile, I received no prescription for the seizure medication they themselves recommended, and communication through their email contact was rude and dismissive. When your animal suffers from ongoing seizures, time matters. Delays, poor communication, and attitude like this are unacceptable. I drove all the way to the Bronx for this visit and it turned out to be a complete waste of time and unnecessary stress for my pet. These people are scammy if not outright crooked and posing as charity. I just filed a complaint with BBB, though they are unregistered. I brought a rescue cat in on 6/16/26 for an initial evaluation to schedule a tooth extraction. They quoted $150 for preliminary bloodwork, then tacked on $100 worth of meds afterward and tried to get me to pay without giving me any information. I was just asking the tech for an explanation of the meds - all I said was, "this is not standard. I need to understand what I'm being charged for and why." She was resistant to let me speak with a doctor or even another tech. The bloodwork I had approved them to do, which is a prerequisite for surgery, is only effective for 30 days - and the tech outright lied to me about their waitlist before doing the bloodwork. At first, she said that I was guaranteed to be taken off of the waitlist within 2-6 weeks of paying the full cost upfront (not typical by any legitimate vet's standards). After the evaluation, I learned that the waitlist was 2+ months, and the tech blamed the manager or owner for telling them to communicate this to people. Fast forward to 10 days after my appointment - per the tech, I should have received bloodwork results digitally 5 days ago at the latest - I find out that they entered my email incorrectly (with a comma in place of a letter), and therefore, the results are not available to me in the app. I asked a phone representative if they could send these via email, the he said they "don't work that way." In troubleshooting, the phone clerk asked me to check for an initial verification email; I began to read the subject line to confirm that it was the correct email, and he cut me off, took a threatening tone, and said he "didn't ask me to read this" to him. Their website includes aggressive disclaimers that they have the right to refuse service if a customer has an "attitude." I am not convinced that I will even receive the bloodwork that I paid $120 for. That number doesn't even include the initial evaluation cost, car rental, and gas necessary to transport my cat to this vet for bloodwork ($150 additional). read more

I asked if she had a fever, or if they took blood, and he said no, why would we do that? I took my first cat to a vet. That vet charged a lot of money, then forced me to bring in my cat every month just for the medication. I am low income and really could not afford the cost of the forced visits. I took her to the Low Cost Vet Mobile and was able to get her medication and check up for a very low price. I traveled from Brooklyn to the Bronx and Manhattan with that cat until I had to put her to sleep. I have taken my current cat to their full-time location in Queens. I don't mind the waiting outside compared to what I went through with the private vet. I trust them with my cat and am thankful for the prices they charge. read more

The guy there had my cat wear a dirty cone, which was probably a used one. My cat paws were dirty with feces. I asked him if he fed her and his response was that he didn't have time. He had her in a pet carrier that was rusted and old. I had to continue to call him for updates on my cat, he is terrible at communicating. I am happy that I was able to pick her and have her surgery done at her regular veterinarian. Their surgeons would have probably had a devastating result. I regret taking her there . PLEASE DONT BRING YOUR FUR BABIES HERE, I was in fact a customer and this is the most honest review. My 4 year old pup came to this man on Tuesday, 9/26. We are in fact "normal people" and cared for our baby with all of our hearts. He had previously gone to a vet for x-rays and was diagnosed with stones in his bladder. The Bronx Vet had my baby cathetered and drained the night prior before going to this man. I had called in about Monday, 9/25 5pm and received a call back around 9pm, I gave all information needed and they reassured they can perform a cystotomy the very next day 9/26. To come first thing in the AM, and we did. We brought my pitbull in around 8am and by 12pm still not seen, they requested xrays done the day before and all results were given. I'd say around 3pm they started to try and put a catheter on my pup with no luck, THAT SHOULDVE BEEN A RED FLAG TO RUN AWAY. but they insisted on letting us know this is common (which we shouldve used our best judgement since the actual vet clinic the day before had done it within minutes). It's now 8pm and they want to keep my pup over night to continue to try and try surgery the next day,.. we do as they say. If this man wasnt equipped to perform the surgery or felt our pup was unsafe, or too sick, even if he felt our pup was too neglected he should have told us he couldnt perform the surgery. For him to proceed with the surgery it had to have meant that our pup had stable vitals and "KIDNEY VALUES" as he mentioned in a response to a review prior to mine. Now Weds, 9/27, all morning no phone call or update its 5:30pm and we're back at their location, our pup has a cone with throw up on it and we have to clean him and walk him but hes not strong enough to walk due to not having a catheter and being "UNRINARY BLOCKED" (he claimed our pup was clogged for 9days but had a catheter the day before he got to him, Monday, 9/25) due to this man not even knowing how to properly place a catheter, and being weak for the past 24 hours within their care. They reassure the surgeon (someone we've never met) will be right in to perform the surgery,.. I think surgery started around 7:51pm, in a beige super small abandoned mini RV, . by 10:27pm i received the most mortifying call ever, my pup was gone. his dad was pleading and begging this man to bring him back to life and what happened but the man would give no explanation what so ever. he left my dead pup in this van and went home to his own dogs to sleep, turned the lights off and left my pups dad outside pleading for help. i get there around 10:45pm and im trying to knock on his door, im doing anything to try and get the door open WE CALLED THE POLICE at 10:55pm (he lied in his response saying that he did which is not true) to come because at this point hes ignoring us completely. the police come and he has no remorse, no sympathy and focuses on the fact that i was trying to get him to open his door for my dogs body or even an explanation, not the fact that he had just killed my dog with out a care in the world. We end up having to leave without my pups body because it was already so late, we were in such an emotional state and had nowhere to take his body at the moment. THE NEXT MORNING, we get back to his location, I knock on his door and within about 5 mins he opens the door and tells me "youre supposed to be here with the police" and closes the door in my face. we had already called the police prior to getting there but they took an hour to arrive, once arrived he handed the police A BILL and grabbed his keys like this was a regular day for him to hand us our dead baby. We still dont know what really happened to our pup he gave no documentation, he said our pup "expired" on another review and blamed us for neglect. PLEASE, I BEG YOU DONT BRING YOUR BABIES HERE. Today is Sunday & the veterinary has shown disrespect & little to no compassion for the animals "the team claims to provide care & support" for. Your animal will be misdiagnosed, they will charge you for medication you never received, they will take money from you, schedule an appointment, cancel on you then tell you "no refund". They will call you on the phone after you've left and attempt to get more money out of you for work they did not do. They will lie and say we forgot to charge you for this service or that medication. Anything to get you to pay more money. The care animals receive here is piss poor. These people don't even like animals. One of the white girls inside the truck tried to drag my dog because she wouldn't come to her. If I wasn't there I'm sure they would have roughed my poor dog up. Treat yourself and your pet with dignity and find care somewhere you can take your pet INSIDE and have a seat. With these low people you stand outside on a busy NYC on the side of a highway with your pet for hours like you guys are waiting on the next jon to roll by. The service ALMOST scheduled with them was $300 and I would have been outside waiting the whole time. I did some research and found a vet less that a mile from my home that did the same service for $325. For only $25 more I was able to sit INSIDE, my dog was treated like the loved pouch she is, while we were waiting they gave her treats and pets and cuddles, they actually gave me the medication they charged me for, my dog left the vet looking better and acting way more like herself. I took my poor pouch here twice and she always left feeling and looking terrible. My dog hates them too. Both times she went she wasn't herself afterwards. She wouldn't eat, wouldn't drink, wouldn't come when I called her. She only behaves that way when she's upset. She hates them! I wish there was an option for 《no stars》 I was given this phone number by a shelter to get help finding a home for my puppy. I was told that I was the reason there needs to be shelters. I have cancer, recently had to have my colon removed. Just the fact that Garo feels the need to follow up with insults showcases what a terrible organization with poor customer service this is. Garo- I have a masters degree and am far from stupid. I called and spoke to you in advance of my visit to ask questions about cost and procedures of your mobile vet for that exact reason. You either lied or did not know any better about the assessment process. I would never have waited for hours in the hot sun with my 12yr old dog if the vet was going to demand putting my dog under anesthesia and I would have to follow up anyways to schedule a $450 surgical assessment. BTW - I did find 3 much better qualified vets that examined my dog and very clearly explained the pros/ cons and costs of surgery, without having to put my dog under anesthesia or take x-rays. HORRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE. I made an appointment to get my female cat spayed and had the worst experience. I made an appointment as the website stated and when I arrive to my appointment, I still had to wait three hours past my appointment time. And when I was told that I was going to be seen at five, when the time came around, I was then told that I had to wait longer because they were going on lunch. After everything was said and done, and I received my cat back, we took her home and made her as comfortable as possible, but she looked extremely uncomfortable. After a conversation with a fellow colleague who went through the same procedure, they asked me did they give you pain meds? When I called to inquire or make a complaint about my animal, not getting pain meds, the customer service representative gave me nothing but rude attitude and hung up on me. TLDR: don't pay in advance like the website suggests. They just pocket the money and then throw unnecessarily false insults at you. I paid online for my puppy to be neutered and waited to get a call, which they never made. They claim that they will call to confirm and notify owners of the finalized surgery date but failed to do so. I tried calling after 3 weeks and nobody responded to my call, so I thought I had just been scammed (why else would you pay in advance before even getting assigned an appointment date). Obviously, I did the next responsible step anyone would take - I filed a dispute with my bank. I still wanted to get my puppy neutered so I reached out to them again recently, only to get an extremely spiteful email claiming I am a fraudulent credit card disputer. How can I be a fraudulent card user if 1. I never received any service, and 2. the clinic refused the dispute, resulting in no refund? I made it clear in my email that I had waited six months to hear anything from them but still wanted to have the surgery done, if possible. This van is awful they tried to scam me into doing a surgery for my dog they probably had no plans on getting done my dog had broke his jaw last summer and i was in panic mode trying to get him healed I had brought my dog here before for his regular shots and never had a problem so i contacted them they had me come in for blood work they told me to come back for x rays and the surgery when i came back they told me the surgery would be over the weekend i came in they said no surgery more x rays i still complied even though each time i was traveling all the way from Harlem i waited a long time they took my money for x rays and never brought me a receipt another worker came and tried to collect the same payment i already made then they come and try to collect payment for the surgery which was $1000+ again without a receipt i told them i needed the receipt the worker got angry and said they would not book my surgery and kept my dog in the van last out of spite it they also closed their canopy on me and my baby while we were waiting for our dog while it was raining it felt very suspicious and I'm sure they were going to take my money and give me the run around the owner is rude and unprofessional you can see him in these comments arguing with everyone like a child my dog ended up healing on his own without surgery do not trust this van beware read more

Worst Fear unlocked- Recently (Last Thursday (2/28/24) had a family trip planned that did not include our fur babies (including our cat). The establishment that would be boarding them requested that we get that cat immunized first. We naturally took her to low cost vet since we had our dogs immunized there once. Upon going, the policy is to hand over your pet at the door to an employee (it's a parked camper on a street corner, not a building so nobody is allowed inside but the employee) less than an hour later, vague details are told that the cat got spooked and fled under a seat and won't come out so a "trap" has been set. Since there was a time limit the vet offered to keep the cat while we were away for the weekend and would have her safe and returned that following Sunday. We saw no issue. We called on Saturday for an update. The owner tried to convince us that they did not have a cat on the premises (shocking!) Then after we went over the details we got the "Oh, that cat...still missing ". Red flag #1. We returned on Sunday, went straight to low cost vet mobile, they would not allow us to assist in "finding" our cat by calling for us. Insisted that she would not respond to our voices. The owner claimed that he set traps and eventually she would come out. We had no choice but to leave. We called the next day for updates since he NEVER called us in any form. His attitude every time we asked about her was off putting and rude. So far as to say "I have better things to do than talk to you"- which he said to my mother. Things like "I only speak to one owner about this"- said to my brother, "YOu are banned from my business " - said once he got tired of being asked if he found our cat. Tuesday (3/4) I go with my mom in a rainstorm and stand over 4 hours outside to try to talk to the workers about letting us come to an agreement to finding the "LOST" CAT which they are claiming is in the vehicle. Claiming they have seen in the vehicle, they just cannot reach and that they can't allow us to assist without the owner consenting. So when contacting the owner he refuse consent. So when the staff told me come "after hours" to try, I ask when does after hours start I got "Idk" RED FLAG!!! So my mom went to the police. We have had it. The police called the owner. The owner of low cost vet mobile tells the police he has the cat, he sees the cay, he can't catch the cat he has traps. Then proceeds to tell the police she is feral and attacks all of his staff. A house cat that spends all of her time sleeping...feral? The nerve. This was on Tuesday (3/2/24). Fast forward to (3/5/24) we are back to making an official report for theft against low cost vet mobile when we called for an update if the owners "traps" finally caught our baby cat and his response was ver batim​ "You're Banned from my business" and hung up. No updates. Our cat nowhere to be found. Went in. Never came out. Dont take your fur baby here. The LAST RED FLAG?
