I would give zero stars if I had the option. This store is run like absolute garbage. I ordered my new washer and dryer in January using my husband's military discount. I had no issue with waiting until May to receive my new appliances, knowing what is happening with lack of supply to meet demand these days. BUT, I did expect after waiting for four months that I would receive both machines with my delivery. Well, both machines were delivered by Whirlpool to this location at the end of May, but these fools 'misplaced' my full-sized dryer for 9 days before locating it. In the meantime, line drying all clothing on makeshift clotheslines. They found it on a Monday, scheduled delivery for Wednesday... no dryer. Rescheduled for Saturday! 3 days later! Saturday comes and goes, no dryer. We went into the store Sunday, they assured us delivery would come the next day. Just kidding! Still no delivery. Finally my husband rented a truck, grabbed and friend, and they delivered and installed our machine themselves. Don't go to this store... it's full of useless punks. Miano is the only person worth a darn, but unfortunately he was only able to help so much, as it is others he needs to count on to do their part who seem incapable of doing so. Seriously, do NOT come to this location, they could not be more terrible if they tried. And if you try to call the people who assured they would help you, it's impossible to get them on the phone. If you are interested in catching COVID-19 this is a great place to shop! I don't want it, so I gave one star instead of five. First off, they don't seem to limit the number of people that can enter at a time, as Home Depot and other box retail stores do. I went on Sunday and the place was packed with people. Secondly, a lot of employees weren't wearing masks and were hanging out in groups. I'd also say half the customers didn't have masks either. And finally, while they have the floors at the checkout lines marked with social distancing squares no one seems to pay attention and the employees don't seem to care. Carpet Buyer's Beware... Do not pre-pay for carpet and installation. Pay the $60 or so to get and bid and find out when they can install the carpet. Once they get your money for the installation you are at the mercy of the contractors and since the installers are contracted out Lowe's feels they are off the hook. This is a stain on Lowe's and other big box locations for contracted work. If I have my choice i go to Lowe's for my home, but I will NEVER again use Lowe's or any Big Box Stores for items that needs contracted out! they might be a little cheaper but not worth it when the contractors delay the installation read more

I ordered a KitchenAid dishwasher from Lowe's. It was delivered quickly but it became apparent right away that the heat factor was not working. After calls to KitchenAid, I was hooked up with an appliance repair co. They came out and discovered that there was a crack in the rinse agent dispenser which was causing this problem. Not only did the brand new machine not dry but blue rinse agent puddled on the floor. The appliance repair co. came twice and replaced the rinse agent dispenser. My issue is that this brand new machine was not checked out prior to delivery. This machine was expensive and it should not have required 2 trips by an appliance repair co. Lowe's should have taken responsibility for this. Shoddy business. read more

Purchased a home smoke alarm for $61, cash. Assumed that the check out clerk placed the receipt in the Lowes bag. Two days later tried to return the alarm and replace it with another type of alarm. Store refused to accept my return without a receipt. No return, no store credit, no nothing. Very disappointed... I will do all of my future home improvement purchases at Home Depot. read more

I'm a little jealous of Chris and Carrie. Clearly their lives are full of magic and unicorns. Velvet ropes are lifted for them, giant clam shells open when they play the piano and employees at this Lowe's will not only look them in the eye, they'll actually help them find something! I've made three trips to this Lowe's and I only have myself to blame. The first was to look at closet organizers and pickup a trash can. We have a very small space in our kitchen for said can, so tracked down just the right one and set out for Lowe's to acquire it. Lo and behold we found the can but the lid was badly scratched. Since we couldn't get a discount, we left the can and decided we'd find one somewhere else. After looking around it was clear the only slim trash can to be found in the Denver metropolitan area was at Lowe's. So this time I ordered the can on-line so it would be ready for me when I swooped into the store. And a trash can was ready. But it was the wrong one. It didn't even match the description (WHITE!) written on the invoice stuck to its side. I was told they were out of that trash can. Clearly the Internet lied to me. But I was willing to give these home improvement engineers the benefit of the doubt. When I got home I was mildly irked that the trash can fit but only barely. The correct can would've been perfect. However this can was especially problematic since they gave me the wrong top to go with it. This top didn't belong to the trashcan I ordered or the trashcan I got. Clearly my faith in Lowe's was being test from on high. Back for visit three. They did not have the can I ordered nor did they have an explanation for giving me the wrong lid to the wrong trashcan. I was even treated to an employee's opinion of at least one coworker: "She's so lazy." Thanks lady, but TMI. So I just got my money back. But then I was going to spend some more money. We need paper towels and a bunch of those double-sided tape wall-hanger thingys. Sadly there was no aisle with an appropriate marker and after 8 minutes of walking in circles and passing by at least 10 employees without so much as direct eye contact, we put the paper towels back and spent our money elsewhere. I understand I could ask for help, but I don't want to. I want to be asked. I'm supporting you, I'm paying part of your paycheck, the least you could do is be interested. Even if it's just to say "Good afternoon." If you're a contractor of some sort, I'll forgive you for shopping at a massive store like this, but if you're a civilian, shame on you. There are better, locally-owned and operated, customer-friendly stores around town. Take the time to find them and skip Lowe's. You won't regret it. read more

I asked one of the workers if he could help me and he said it wasn't his department and ran away like I had cooties! Worst customer service ever! My husband got a ladder and got it himself. Then the ladder had the nerve to have a sign on it saying " This ladder is for employees only. An employee will be happy to assist you." REALLY?!? This is the store with the biggest selection and the most emloyees who find ME and ask if I'm doing alright that is still feasible to get to without spending $40 in gas. It tends to be busy, and every once in a while some little thing is out of stock, but overall I figure if I come here it'll be worth the trip. Case in point: my local Home Depot carries one end cap of underground sprinklers: all 4". Lowe's has half an aisle of sprinklers, including the 2 1/2" one I needed because I ran it over with the lawn mower. And there on that aisle was a goofy older gentleman who told me first to use bubble gum (ha ha) to repair a leak in the sprinkler line, but then brought me to a display with repair kits...plural, as in I could CHOOSE. Besides the selection and customer service on the floor, the great thing about Lowe's is their return policy. With your receipt, you can return just about anything, with no hassle or attitude. It really makes shopping less stressful. And since I'm here so often, now I just say, "Oh, just get it, if it isn't the right one I'll bring it back next week." read more

This store is horrific and the manager, Michael Taylor, is just as horrific. I purchased $10k in flooring for my new home and this has been the worst customer service experience I've ever encountered. We received two calls from the delivery department stating they would be delivering my flooring on 10/25 between 10-2. At 1:30 we called the store for an update and sat on hold for 30 minutes and then got hung up on. Finally got ahold of a real person to be told our product would not be delivered. We took a day off from work for this and no one felt they should call and let us know? Nope! No apology, no refund of our delivery costs, no reimbursement of our list time from work. And continued to be told we would receive a call back to discuss the experience and have yet to hear anything. Once this flooring is installed I will never spend another dime with this company. Seeing as I am seemingly at this store more than my own home, I found it fitting to write a review of this magical store filled with options and opportunity! As a new home owner, I have recently found the home improvement bug! I recently finished a study - complete with a new tile floor and matching grout, a fresh coat of paint, crown molding and new french doors. The best part (aside from the completion of one project!) is that I can purchase all of these home needs AND MORE at one location and at one time (although it never quite comes out to getting everything for a project in one stop ha!) Luckily, this Lowe's store is close enough to my house that I can run over and pick up some needed items on a break and get right back to work on my next project without wasting half a day. In addition, this store offers a plethora of parking! Maybe it's because I go during non-"busy" hours, but the store never seems crazy busy and I am always able to pull my truck around to the front or side if I need to load it up with some hardware goods. Lastly, the thing I love the most about this store is the fact that EVERYONE is so nice and extremely helpful! I wish I would have gotten some of the employees' names because they definitely went above and beyond in their customer service and friendly demeanors - which goes a long way in my book! This older lady in paint was a recent superstar who helped guide me to everything I needed from fixing holes in the drywall from ugly window fixtures of the previous owners, to the wall texture I needed to match the wall around the holes getting fixed, to getting the right color and shine of paint I was looking for. I really like this Lowe's. Whenever I step in, the staff is always greeting me and other customers. They are always offering assistance in finding items and are super friendly. I do like the prices here than at the their competitor. The store is always clean and organized, which helps when you're trying to find something. Daniela the store manager was very helpful to me today. She helped me find a exact match to a piece of casing I brought in. That's a daunting task, looking through dozens of seemingly same looking white decorative boards. Then I was on to base board. The first few were stained. Daniela removed about 10 pieces all 12 foot long till she found me two pieces that were not stained. I was then off to the paint dept. Daniela offered to take my shopping cart to the lumber dept so I won't have to try to maneuver my Lengthy load. I appreciate all her help. I had a good experience today at this Lowes. read more

Not my favorite Lowes. They have an odd selection of lighting at this location and it's always mis-stocked with many shelf items without price tags at all. Many common products that they just don't carry here and I have to either drive to Arvada or Northglenn. Always under staffed in the paint department. Poo poo on this store. They constantly move their inventory all around the store to the point that even the sales associates (if you are lucky enough to find one) do not know where it is located. DONT DO IT. I just bought my first house and was looking for a stackable washer/dryer. I decided to search online and found the best deal at Lowes. I called this Lowes store thinking that if I called them, it would help me to make sure I was purchasing all of the items I needed (washer, dryer, stacking kit, etc) for the install to go smoothly. The woman who answered the phone was clearly not an expert on washer/dryers but I guess wanted to sell me. She got a washer for me from one store and a dryer from another and both could be delivered the next day. Too good to be true! The dryer people showed up first and dumped the dryer in my hallway. They told me about all kinds of other things that I needed: dryer vent, dryer plug, washer hoses. I called Lowes to be sure the people delivering the washer could bring it, but they had already left the store. The washer team showed up to deliver the washer and told me they were not trained to do stackables!! I called and they said they couldn't send someone out to stack them for me for weeks. I have had these two stupid machines blocking my hallway for WEEKS and continue to call with very little apologizes and no plan to fix it. Every day they say someone will come tomorrow and no one calls or shows up. read more

I ordered a door online from this location with store delivery. I was told it would be ready the following day. When I did not receive a notice that it was ready for pickup, I called and no one answered. I tried several times for a couple of days when a rude associate finally answered and stated that in store pickup orders were taking 3-7 days to process. I have ordered from 2 other Lowe's locations in the Aurora area and this has never been the case. Since It had already been 3 days, I decided to wait for the purchase. After 2 more days, I finally checked online and saw that the item had been cancelled. I did not request the cancellation, nor was I sent an email explaining what had happened. SMDH. I just left this establishment not a happy camper. Started off fine. Made a purchase at the customer service desk and a dark haired young lady waited on me of propane then the clerk told me where to wait for the employee to assist. I waited like 10 minutes I then went in and politely asked if anyone was coming. She said that she'll call then I asked you hadn't called ? And she said "I said I'll call again" while rolling her eyes. Then I got ugly and said don't give me that look and she said "i didn't yell" again rolling her eyes I then said don't talk to me that way! I waited another 10 minutes to no avail so I went to another clerk to assist in returning my money. Instead he turned around and was about to help someone else. I spoke up and asked ami in the wrong line? I was here before them. Then the tall curly haired young man proceeded to help me not understanding what I wanted even though I told him several times. I'm usually a pretty mellow shopper but this just annoyed me. Ordered online for pickup of 3 items at 10 AM and said would be ready for pickup that day. Had no notice if my order was ready by 6 PM when I went in to get it after work. Woman behind the counter looked up my online order and said it's not ready yet. "You can wait or just go get it yourself". What's the point of online order for pickup if it's not ready after 8 hours. I only ordered 3 items. *8 hours!!! No apology. Went and found my items, came back up and woman said "Can I help you?" I said I just got my order. "What order?" It was like 5 minutes later. Moral of the story... Don't waste your time for online ordering. Also, Lowes only has customer service or I guess complaints through phone calls, no email. My guess is so they can put you on hold so you can't actually put in a complaint. I wanted to contact the main branch or something to complain about this store but pretty sure it would just go to the this store which is already obviously managed by some moron who doesn't care. Every time I'm in there they're either slow as heck, can't answer my questions, can't lead me to the right product, say some stuff like "the key professional got transferred to another location, or some other made up ish! The manager just came up to me on the phone, didn't say anything to me because of what sounded like a personal conversation she was having with a friend for like 2 minutes, said the same thing to me as the first unfriendly lady. Probably one of the worst customer service experiences I've had at a store. I came in to buy pots, soil and some new plants. When I got up to the register I greeted the cashier, Andrea, and got no response. I started unloading my cart and an older lady came up to tell her a Mother had lost her child in the store and to keep an eye out. They then proceeded to talk about how the store isn't big enough to lose a kid, and did they not learn anything from the child recently killed in Montbello. This was fairly shocking and incredibly unprofessional to me. Andrea then looked at me for payment, I had to ask what the total was, and then did not offer to bag any of my $85 worth of purchases. I understand they were pots etc. but a few bags for the soil, sand, etc would have been appreciated. I then loaded my cart back up while she watched me and walked out without a thank you or have a good day or anything. I myself work in customer service and would NEVER want to make a customer feel the way I did during that transaction. I'll stick to Home Depot from now on. read more

I went to Lowe's today, Sept. 23, 2019. I found the garden section, and found Judy, who I believe is in customer service. I told her I was looking for organic fertilizer. She took me to one place, and we checked out ingredients. She then took me to where the Xmas decorations are (I never would have found fertilizer there!) Lowe's is Lowe's. At least in the area we live in, they are just not as good as their competitors. The staff is semi-helpful, but not overly friendly. They aren't going out of their way to assist me, like -- Home Depot. My real test to see how helpful and knowledgeable an employee is to ask them for a few items they may or may not have -- or to ask questions in power tools. When I asked the guy in power tools what the difference between Lithium Ion batteries and Nickel Cadmium batteries was he wasn't sure, but assured me they were close to equivalent. /shakeshead Lowe's you better trained employees.
