Went with a friend to buy paint and color match. The associate not only did know her products but she proceeded to help every customer that came in after us while she asked us to wait, including serving a customer who was also colord matching from a picture. I have spent thousands of dollars with Lowe's...from a new roof, new floors, countertops, sink & doors....had great experiences with all of those....but about 3 weeks ago I went to purchase 2 toilets and have them installed but was told that someone had to come out and measure them. Therefore I paid the fee to have someone come measure it...the standard procedure is someone will call within 48 business hours...it's Monday February 19 and no call as of yet....I have called spoken to 3 different managers and have t gotten nowhere...I'm very disappointed in Lowe's & this process. read more

This place would be better organized if everything was put in bins and randomly put on aisles--wait they already did that! I spend about 2-3 times as long in here as I would like every time just trying to find what I'm looking for. The staff is helpful, but the aisles themselves seem designed for you to either (1) play scavenger hunt or (2) ask someone every time you're looking for something. The most aggravating thing is that they sometimes put things together which don't actually go together: today I bought caulk for tile and a caulk gun, not realizing that the gun's size was medium when all the bottles of caulk around it were designed for a smaller gun type. I went to Lowe's wolfchase today at approx 630pm. I purchased a lawnmower that was $299. I got it home, got it out of the box, filled it with gas and oil and tried to pull the pull string and the pull string wouldn't budge. I live in Bartlett Tn and they are super strict about people with tall grass which mine was. I'm a single mom and I was waiting until I saved up enough money to buy a decent mower. What I purchased was a defective mower. I was upset to say the least. I had to load the mower back up in my jeep. Yes I said my jeep BY MYSELF I get it back to the store and inside to the return counter when Erica got around to helping me. She was nice at first until I notified her that there was gas in the mower. She said "oh YOULL HAVE TO REMOVE THE GAS" I replied WHAT? It's BROKEN... what do you want me to do? How do you want me to remove the gas? She replied with this nasty look on her face and said "I DONT KNOW" At this point I was beyond furious. Not only was I standing there not knowing what to do but now this girl is being rude. I asked to speak to her supervisor. She gets on the phone while she continues to help other people. Then this lady comes up (her supervisor) and all I hear was "OH IM NOT DEALING WITH THAT" AND SHE WALKS OFF! Omg! I go outside and dump the gas outside. I then bring the mower back in (before I go to jail) and decided to handle this another way and contact you guys. Now, if you don't believe my story, check the footage from today at approx 630 I was a blonde headed woman with a Black and Tan baseball hat on standing there with my son. You can clearly see where the supervisor walks up and walks off WITHOUT HELPING ME. SHE SAID SHE WASNT DEALING WITH THIS? Parking lot full, hundreds of people in the store and only 4 cashiers. One in garden area, two in main check out and one in pro. Customer lines almost to the back of the store. They are pretty good. There are a lot of things that are expensive. They have no fucking idea how to serve the customers when it come to flooring! We were there for 2 hours trying to get a floor for our house!! The guy that we got to help us was acting lazy and we did most of the work! I would much rather go to Home Depot, they are much faster and help out!! We will go to Home Depot the next time!!! read more

Ordered 2 appliances about 3-4 weeks ago. Told salesman that I could not install microwave. He rang up the range and microwave. Supposed to be delivered March 29th. Received a call on March 28th, that the appliances were on the truck and they would reschedule . Delivery was rescheduled for April 8th. Delivery was on time, even a little early, but I was told that they did not install microwaves. They are an outside contractor. Went by the Lowes store on Highway 64, where things were purchased. Since there was no one in appliance section, I asked for a manager. Spoke with a Front End Supervisor and explained everything. He said that he would get with the other managers and call me back within 2-3 hours. Well, 5 hours later and no call. Tried to call the store, stayed on hold for 24 minutes , then was disconnected. Drove to the store and spoke to different manager. He was wearing a sweater, no name tag, no Lowe's logo on sweater. All he could tell me was that I could pay them and they would install it. I refused , saying that I had explained everything to salesman, but all this manager would say was " I wasn't there." Also mentioned that I tried to call and was on hold for 24 minutes, he said "I just got here". Not anything like, I'm sorry, I'll look into that. Lowe's must be scraping the bottom of the barrel for management and supervisory personnel. read more

Very Disappointed!!! My husband and I have been very preferential to Lowes in the past. We just moved from Chula Vista, Ca where we LOVED our Lowes!! So in true habitual nature we visited our new local Lowes in Bartlett, Tn and have been nothing short of extremely disappointed!! Being new to the area we needed to get new appliances for the new house. First we purchased our new refrigerator and washer and dryer online to be delivered as soon as we moved in. We had gone into the local store to ensure everything was on track and correct. At NO point did anybody mentioned that we had to buy additional supplies in order to have a successful hookup. The delivery ended up being scheduled on the same day as the movers delivery so needless to say it was quite chaotic! The delivery guys showed up to do hookups and informed me that I did not have the needed hoses. Maybe, they would carry extras on the truck for such occasion?? Of course not! So I had to leave my house with movers and delivery guys alone to go to the store to buy the hoses. In the store, do you think I could get some assistance to purchase the correct hoses needed? Of course not, the staff could not be bothered! It took several trips for the correct hoses and a very aggravating experience!! Needless to say, this put a very bad taste in our mouth for our new local Lowes. Giving them one more try, we purchased a dishwasher and again, it did not come with the needed cords and connections. Why, when purchased, can the staff not make sure we are all set? Due to these bad experiences and aggravations, We have now become Home Depot customers. read more

Worst customer experience in my life. I ordered a mower and some accessories online over a week and a half ago and scheduled for deliver today. 9am this morning I get a call from some lady in Wisconsin saying they would not be able to deliver today as it was not put together. She said they had to wait on someone from John Deere to assemble. I asked why this was not completed prior to delivery as I ordered a week and a half ago and it was shown as "in stock" when I ordered it. She could not answer. I told the lady that I had taken off work today so that this could be delivered. No compassion whatsoever. I asked when it would be assembled to which she could not give me an answer other than "whenever we can get someone from John Deere to assemble". I can't believe that we had a week and a half to assemble and have prepared for order and it didn't happen. I guess they didn't need my $3500. I cancelled and will go elsewhere. read more

Incredible Customer Service today! I went in to find a single outdoor spotlight replacement for the house - but I couldn't find it anywhere. I did, however, find no less than 4 different employees who helped me to find it, some helping more than once. They were out of the outdoor spotlights in the Seasonal section, but they had 5 left on Aisle 10. Big Kudos to the staff at Lowe's today! I'll be back. read more

This was the third hardware store we tried while looking for a replacement bathroom fan vent cover. Having been assured by the Perkins store that this one had the item in stock, we showed up in the bathroom department, handed over the broken one, and were promptly guided to the exact item we needed. TERRIBLE customer service. Ordered a rocking chair as a gift that was damaged during delivery however they said they called me to explain it would not be ready but never called. Then went in store to ask about a special order, the person needed was not there so they told me to call to speak to him Monday. When I called he was unavailable again and a rep answered the phone who was unbelievably rude saying I couldn't order that and went on to say that she had been working there for 15 years and she knows that I couldn't place that order. After it's listed on their website and the in store lumber department said I could. PLEASE AVOID THIS STORE UNLESS YOU WANT A HEADACHE! read more

Stopped by at Lowe's to return an item at the same time wanted to shop as well, however, the customer service representative, Gloria, was so rude and made everyone else skip the line in front of us. She don't pay attention and she don't know who was in line first. Last I checked the person standing at the front of the line is first but no Gloria thinks the last person in line is first. WORST customer experience for my mother & I. For starters I'm 7 months pregnant & my refrigerator went out. I decided to upgrade my washer & dryer all at the same time. I planned on purchasing multiple appliances from this location & from the beginning we had to run someone down to take the order. I won't forget his name because of how he treated my mother when speaking with her weeks later about my un delivered refrigerator. After making her feel awful for even calling to check on the order Tony argued with my mom over the phone about what he may or may not have promised. After we were given another date & waited another two weeks (a month total at this point) she tried to make contact with Tony again only this time he again argued about what delivery date we had been given. By this point we canceled the entire order & decided to go else where. He tried to offer us a rental frige until we could get ours delivered... which would have been great 4 weeks ago when it went out to being with!!!... he really shouldn't be in customer service of ANY KIND really killed the moral of the entire store. Won't be back to this location. read more

if i could give a zero star rating i would. i have purchased many products over the last 19 years from this store with little to no trouble. a few years ago these assholes at corporate decided to go the cheap ass way of doing business by hiring second rate 3rd party services to do their warrenties work. as a result the customers are the ones that suffer. i have been waiting 10 fucking days for their 3rd rate servicemen men to call me to tell me when they plan on showing up to do the warranty. calling and complaining gets you nowhere as they couldn't give a flying fuck about youas a customer as long as you continue paying for their fucked up shitty as services. it will be the last time i buy anything from them ever. lowes can suck a fart out of my ass they are the worst fucking corporation out there. And their warranty people and line for scheduling services are about as bright as a broken fucking bulb. read more

Had a warranty claim with an American Standard toilet (wish I had purchased another brand) and a horrible experience with an installer named PJ. The guy would not answer his calls or returns calls. Fortunately, Amy in Install Sales switched me to another installer. My advice is stay clear of PJ and ask for another installer. read more

This pertains to the website, not to the Bartlett store (even though that is where pick-up would be). I sat with my parents for 1 1/2 hours picking out lighting for a new house. When I clicked on the cart, nothing was there. I couldn't find it going either direction with the arrows. I tried to chat, but Kevin never replied. The next day, I remembered most of the lights and tried to order. When I clicked on the cart to see the 17 items, it reset to 0 again and none of the items could be located. I have never had this happen with any other website. Items will stay in the cart for days. Lowe's needs to work on this issue. It is definitely not user friendly. read more

He told him he would "just have to come look himself", because he wasn't "going to go and look at them". My husband then called Home Depot, who was very friendly and helpful, and was able to locate what we need. Guess what, Lowe's? We'll be using your competitor instead. Thanks for nothing. read more

I am out of town this month and just completed an on line order for a item that was to be my sons Christmas gift. The online transaction completed fairly easily. I had indicated when ordered that I would have it picked up at the Bartlett store. That was my first mistake. I got fast email confirmation all seemed well. Then 30 minutes later I got a call from the store and was told my order was cancelled because they didn't have it in stock. So I asked if any of the other Memphis area stores had the item and they said yes. The one 5 miles away had 2. So I asked them to either transfer the item or transfer the order so I could pick it up at the Germantown store. They said NO! and cancelled my order. I asked for the supervisor asking: Surely there was a way to transfer my order to another store. But NO. they cancelled it and there was nothing they could do nor were they offer to help. I was instructed to go to or call the other store myself!!! A corporation as large as Lowe's should have better control of their inventory if they intend to have an effective internet order division. Secondly the manager that I spoke to never even tried to help and seem happy when I said ok, Good bye. I've never had this BAD of customer service at Home Depot. So guess where I'm going. read more

I just had Lowes installers install 2 new windows in my kitchen and dinning area. They had to grind out some of the brick mortar around the window and they blew mortar through out my kitchen and left it. It was so bad, I could write my name in it on my stove and cutting board. It is all over my coffee maker and every thing else I had on my counter tops. I will never use a Lowes installer or service person again. I am highly disappointed in Lowes for the second time in a year. read more

Went to this location after 2 other stores were out of what we were looking for and will never go back for any reason. We went in at 10:20am to get 6 boxes of tile and didn't leave until 11:40am because no one wanted to get the tile that was 10 feet from the flooring register and 10ft up! We had to ask 4 times and 3 other customers gave up and left. The staff was unconcerned and boardering on rude! If we hadn't driven so far to pick it up we would have just left. We won't make the mistake of going to this location again. read more

It takes forever, literally, for Lowe's contractors to price installation of Lowe's products. They always want more money than Lowe's advertises. One time the contractor wanted $140 more to install a dishwasher where a dishwasher use to be. He claimed he had to take out the decorative molding to make the space 24 inches. It took me one minute to remove the molding. This results in a $8,400.00/hour for a dishwasher installer. After receiving a price for installation of a stove top, which cost more than the stove top, it took three months for Lowe's to install the stove top. These instances are just in 2018. I have had several delayed installations prior to the above. Home Depot is no better. I suppose this is how they both stay in business, the competition is no better. However, my last purchase from Sears arrive within four days. Why is Sears going out of business with such lousy competition. read more
